Chapter 22
Sage's P.O.V.
As soon as Jack and I told Jack J about me coming to MAGCON, we started planning. Since today is Wednesday, that gives us two days to get me a cell phone, pack my bags, and day good bye to everyone. I had no clue when I would be coming home, but I wasn't worried about that part. I was so excited that I was able to go with Jack and Jack, and I was planning to enjoy my time there with them and Shawn. I told Shawn about everything that had happened the past few days, and he was happy for me, but he was also disappointed that I didn't tell Jack G about how I felt about him. To be completely honest, I was disappointed too, because hiding this was getting harder and harder. I really want to tell him, but our friendship could be ruined. I didn't want that.
I silently looked through my closet, trying to pair some outfits together for MAGCON. I realized that I only have enough clothes for probably a week. That's not good.
“Jack!" I called out.
Jack G came into the room. “Which Jack?" he asked me.
I shrugged. “Either. I need to know how long we'll be at MAGCON for?"
Jack shrugged as well. “I don't know… I assume just for the week." he responded.
I nodded. “Thanks." I said.
I began biting my lips. I was nervous. What if the other boys don't like me? What if Mahogany doesn't like me? what if something goes wrong? I want everything to be perfect. What if it's not?
Jack could see I was getting nervous, so he sat down beside me. “Is something wrong?" he asked me.
I sighed. “What if everyone else doesn't like me?" I asked. “I don't want to be an annoyance to them."
Jack signed and shook his head, making his dark hair bounce all over the place. “They won't hate you. I can't picturing anyone hating you."
I laughed. “But why? I'm not a part of the actual MAGCON event, I'm just a normal fourteen year old girl. Won't they find me annoying?"
Jack hugged me. “I don't think you're annoying," he said. “You're my best friend, to you aren't annoying."
I sighed. “But you've known me since we were little, you know the real me…" I looked up at him with my hazel eyes. “They don't know the real me."
Jack smiled. “Well then show then the real you," he said, standing up to walk it of the room. He stopped in the doorway to look at me, reassurance in his big brown eyes. “Don't let them believe you're fake."
I know I know I haven't posted since Saturday, and I feel bad. I've just been so busy with school and shiz, and I guess I totally forgot about editing and updating.
Well, I'm finally done editing, and I may or may not post again tonight.
Love you all!!
Keep shining!
xx Sarah
