"Sage! You have someone at the door!" my Mom called.

It had been three days since I'd sat on my couch looking at vines of Jack and Jack. I'd never been more sad.

"Coming." I mumbled, getting up off my bed and dragging my feet across the carpeted floor, picking up static.

When I got to the door, I saw someone who I was not expecting to see at all.

"Jack!" I exclaimed, jumping into his arms.

"Ow!" he exclaimed. Oops. My static must have shocked him.

"Sorry!" I said. "How are you?"

Jack smiled, putting me down. "I'm great. Missed you loads," he rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "I'm sure Jack G did too."

I rolled my eyes. "If he missed me "loads", he would have called." I muttered, using my fingers to create air quotes around the word "loads".

Jack sighed. "I'm sure he doesn't really hate you." he assured me.

"You heard him, he said, and I quote, 'I never really liked you.'" I said with air quotes.

"That's not exactly what he said." Jack corrected.

"It was two years ago, how the hell do you expect me to remember every little word he said?" I exclaimed.

Jack shrugged. "I don't."

I hugged him again. "I've missed you." I said.

I could feel Jack smile as he hugged me.

Jack J's P.O.V.

I saw her for the first time, and oh. My. God.

She's so beautiful.

She ran into my arms as soon as she saw me, and static flew through me. "Ow." I muttered, feeling the shock.

Sage giggled. "Sorry!" she chirped. "How are you?"

"I'm great," I responded. "Missed you loads," I awkwardly rubbed the hair at the back of my head. "I'm sure Jack G misses you too."

Jack G sure did miss Sage. He loves her. But he realized he'd messed up, and he sent me here to figure out if she'd forgive him. I don't understand why he couldn't come here himself.

Sage rolled her eyes. "If he missed me loads, he would have called."

"I'm sure he doesn't really hate you." I said. It was really hard not to burst out the reason why Jack G was ignoring her.

See, Jack G sort of had a reputation of being a player, and he knew that. When he fell for Sage, he knew he would break her heart, so he completely cut her from his life. I understand what he was getting at, but I don't agree that it was the right thing to do.

"You heard him, he said, and I quote, 'I never really liked you.'" she quoted.

"That's not exactly what he said." I pointed out.

She rolled her eyes. "It was two years ago, how the hell do you expect me to remember every little word he said?" she demanded.

I was a little taken aback. "I don't." I said.

She wrapped her arms around me, and I felt something different then before she'd moved.

"I missed you." she whispered into my shoulder.

I smiled slowly.

I was getting feelings for Sage.
