Sage's P.O.V.

Jack came down for dinner and my mom smiled. "Jack, how have you been darling? You look great by the way."

Jack smiled and sat down beside me at the table. "Thanks! I've been great!"

I smiled and kissed his cheek. "I'm glad you came down here," I said. "It's great to see you again."

All this time after Jack brought up Jack G, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I was in love with him so badly, but he basically hated me. It hurt so much to think about it, so I cried my heart out when Jack went to go call his mom. It hurts being in love with Jack Gilinsky.

Especially if he doesn't love you back.

My mom had made burgers for dinner, and I was pleased. I loved my mom's burgers; they always tasted so good.

We said prayers and started eating. "So how's Gills?" my mom asked.

Oh no, mom! No, no, no, no, no, don't bring that up again!

"Mom," I said hesitantly. "His name is Jack..."

My mom rolled her eyes.

"Jack is fine..." Jack said slowly. "He's getting by."

Huh? What's that supposed to mean?

"So is Sage, she was devastated when Jack told her those things. She's so in-"

"Mom! Haven't you already said enough?" I interrupted her, giving her a cold stare.

My mom covered her mouth. "Sorry." she mouthed to me.

I looked at Jack and his head was tilted in confusion. "What's going on?" Jack asked me.

I stood up. "Nothing." I mutter, and storm away.

OOOOOOOOO THE DRAMA!!! Sage's mom almost told Jack J that Sage loves Jack G!!! This is getting interesting!!! Wonder what'll happen next. (in case you are reading this on a computer, that is a smirking face)

Anyhoo, I know it's short, but I felt like I had to update for you guys!
