(No one's POV)

Ted walked toward Amanda, who was sitting in the witness stand.

"Now Miss Stevens how to you know Miss Smith"? Ted asked. 

Amanda sighed and said, "A couple years ago, we had a case an opposite sides. He was a 17 year old kid, and was accused of a crime. I did the best that I could, Elizabeth Smith hid and kept evidence that proved that he was innocent", Amanda turned and looked squarely at Elizabeth. 

'You two have a complicated history I gather"? Ted continued. Aamanda turned back and turned away from Elizabeth and looked at Ted. 

"Yes, we do. My client ended up getting convicted, because of what she did, and after a couple of months after he was found guilty, he died", Amanda said. "I blame her for it, has she might as well done it herself, that evidence could have helped him to be found not guilty and she kept it from everyone. She will do anything to win, she even it means withholding evidence".

"No further questions", Ted said, turning back toward his seat.

Amanda was told that she could step down and she went back to sit down next to Ted. She was very glad that that was over.
