Victor drove in the driveway of my house and turned to me smiling.

I smiled back as I hugged him, and he hugged back. I kissed him goodbye and he did too.

"I love you." He smiled still at me.

I smiled back, "I love you too." I got out still smiling, then waved at him which he waved back.

I unlocked the front door of my house so I was able to go in. Before I did, I noticed Victor watching me. Not in a creepy way, but he was making sure I get in safely. Which he didn't need to, but he did anyways. I turned my head smiling a bit, appreciating that he cared for my safety.

I wasn't paying attention but, my mom noticed me smiling. She smiled at me as she spoke, "You must've had a good today huh?"

I woke up from my daydream, embarrassed, "Oh um... Ya. It was pretty good."

She grinned teasingly, "Just pretty good? From what I saw from you smiling, your day definitely seemed better than that."

I blushed a bit embarrassed, "Alright. You caught me. It was great." I laughed softly as I spoke.

My mom smiled, "And what made it so great?"

I blushed more, "Well I... I have a boyfriend now..."

She smiled, "That's great sweetie. Who is your boyfriend?"

"V-Victor..." I blushed even more.

My mom grinned, "I kind of thought you two might get together someday."

I was surprised, "Really? How did you know?"

She grinned, "When you introduced him to me, he couldn't stop staring at you." She laughed softly. "I already could tell he was in love with you."

I felt bad and embarrassed, "Oh. I wish I knew sooner."

My mom smiled, "I bet that's alright. You two are happy together. Which makes me happy for you both too. I'm glad you had a wonderful day today, Ella."

I smiled, "Ya. Me too."
