Ash POV

It had been three days and we still hadn't found anything and I was getting very frustrated. The first day was spent researching every family or household that had white hair, here more than I thought.

 After that it was figuring out where they lived and then travel to their home to find them. I would next ask them a few questions like what they wore, and what they did at the ball.

 Even if the answers were not even near close to what my mate and I actually did. I would still have them try on the ring.

It hadn't fit anyone so far, so I knew I was no where closer to finding him, luckily we only had a few more houses to go and I hoped and prayed each time we got to a house that he would be there.

 We soon arrived at the next house. One of the guards knocked on the door. Immediately an older woman opened the door.

"Your Majesty." she bowed lowly. "Please this way." Two of the guards went in front of me as I followed the women in.

She then brought me to what I was guessing was her living room. Sitting on the couch were two children a girl and boy. The girl was probably around 15 the boy about 5. I knew it was neither of them, but I asked them if they had gone to the ball anyway.

 I turned to the girl first and kneeled in front of her.

"Hello, young one did you attend the ball three days ago? The girl nodded. "Did you have fun?" I asked her.

"Yes sir, I went with my two best friends" I just nodded my head and smiled to her.

"What was your favorite part?" She thought for a minute, then smiled widely.

"I liked watching all the dancing and seeing the dresses they were so pretty." "Oh, and what kind of dress did you wear?"

 "It was pink" I laughed at her enthusiasm

"Thank you for telling me" I then looked to the little boy.

"What about you little one, did you go to the ball?" The boy shook his head.

"And why is that?"

"Mommy said I had to be in bed by 9:30."

 "oh I see, and were you?" The boy nodded his head quickly

"Yes sire I was in bed on time." I just smiled at the boy. I got up from my kneeling position and thanked the woman for letting us in.

I was then lead out of the house where I rejoined the rest of my company. One more house left, this had to be it, it just had to be. We were then on our way.

The house was quite awes away. As we neared it I could hear yelling and angry screams coming from the inside. Giving a questioning look to the guards we made our way closer.

 There was suddenly a heart retching scream, filled with terror and pain. And the scary part was, was that I recognized it.
