BACKSTORY:

→ spencer is the five-year-old daughter of sam and malaika winchester (nee) stone. her father wanted to keep her away from the supernatural world as he never told his daughter what his older brother, him, and her grandfather do for a living. sam wanted her to have a normal life, away from the supernatural world. but that all changed when dean, sam's older brother, and his six-year-old daughter, whitney broke into her father's college dorm. spencer stayed with her mom for the first couple months of sam being gone, which she wasn't happy about because like whitney, spencer has separation anxiety of her father being gone. so, when spencer and mal get kidnapped by meg (the girl who was possessed by the demon in season one), that is when sam and dean went to rescue the girl and her mother. that was also when mal learned how to use a gun and a knife and she was the one who killed meg (a couple episodes later), she ragefully killed the woman as meg had tortured spencer, which was a line that malaika didn't want to put up with. eventually years later spencer grew used to being alone with whitney, the daughter of dean and despite the girl's differences, outside of them also being cousins, they were thick as thieves. when dean died, spencer tried being there for her cousin, but no matter how many times she tried, whitney would push her away. then months later, spencer had gotten a call from jocelyn novak, saying that whitney is dead, as she had jumped off a bridge just so that she can go to heaven and be with her father. it was hard for spencer living the rest of her life without her uncle and cousin who was very close to her in her life.
