Arielle's POV

It had been about another twenty minutes of me just sitting on his bed, I could feel the nerves coming from my body in large waves. I was going to be meeting more wolves, An Alpha to be honest, I will be meeting him as the Luna of the Blood-Moon pack. I was pushed from my thoughts as Zander walked out of his closet.

I could feel as my eye roamed over his body, taking in all of his majestic features. When I made it to his face I could see he was smiling slightly at me. I let my yes roam him over one more time taking in his black suit and his slicked back dark hair, I could smell his cologne all the way from where I was sitting but I was not complaining because I loved his smell. I looked from his face towards his chest to see that his tie was not all the way up and it was slightly crooked. I stood up from his bed pushing down the crinkles in my dress as I made my way towards where he was standing. I raised my hands up to his tie taking a hold of it pulling it so that it was all the way up and it was straight again. I brushed down the crinkles while whispering to him

"Well don't you look snazzy"

I smiled up to him before I stood up on my tip toes and pecked his cheek. I looked into his eyes seeing that they held happiness while he smiled back at me.

"You look stunning as well my sweet. I am tempted just to miss this meeting and stay here with you. But sadly we can not, are you ready to go and greet Alpha Maxwell?"

I kept looking into his eyes and let a small smile come onto my face and right before I was about to say something there was a knock on the wood door interrupting me. After a few moments of silence I heard an unknown voice call out to us

"Alpha, Luna, I have come to inform you Alpha Maxwell, His mate and his Beta have arrived"

We did not reply anything back to the person on the other side of the door as right after he was finished telling us Alpha Maxwell was here we both heard footsteps going down the hallway. Zander let out a sigh as he reached for my hand gripping it while lacing them together. He started to pull me towards the door to the room so we could go see this Alpha.

As we were walking down the hallway I could feel my heart beating in my chest really loudly. When we made it to the door leading us into the foyer of the pack house I could hear many unfamiliar voices coming from the other side of the door, but with those voice I could also hear Zander's Beta and Nella's voice mixed in. I could feel Zander's eyes on me as I looked at the door trying to get my heart to stop beating in my ears, trying to calm myself down.

"Are you ready for this my love?"

When I heard this I looked up at Zander and I could feel the slight pink tent start making its way onto my face. I slightly gave him a small nod telling him that I was ready. When he saw that I gave him a nod he smiled at me and pushed open the door to the foyer while pulled me into the room where I heard the voices with him. When the door behind us shut everyone in the room became silent and their attention turned towards us. I saw as both Nella and her mate gave us both a slight head bow, which is I guess a sign of respect in the werewolf community. Everyone in the room was silent and it was getting pretty awkward for me, I guess that it showed on my face because Nella started talking,

"Holy Alpha; look at your neck Arielle"

When she said this I could feel the slight pink tent from a few moment ago return to my face as I slightly hid behind Zander's arm earning giggles from both Nella and Alpha Maxwell's Mate. I gave a slight squeeze to Zander's hand trying to tell him that it was getting a bit awkward and I guess he got my message because he spoke aloud

"Hello Alpha Maxwell, I would like for you to meet my mate. Arielle Winters"

When he introduced me I came out from hiding behind Zander, standing with my back straight while looking at Alpha Maxwell, Who had bright blue eyes, long blonde hair and slight stubble on his chin. He held his hand out for me to take into his,

"It is nice to meet you Luna Black. Please if you will call me Zack, this fine specimen is Rebekah, my mate and lastly he is my Beta, Mark."

I grabbed the buff looking man's hand giving it a firm shake while watching as he pointed to the two when he introduced them to me. I gave him a smile before I spoke, clearing my throat first

"Hello Zack, Rebekah, Mark it is amazing to meet you three!"

When I was saying this I gave his mate, who was really pretty with Hazel eyes, clear skin and black wavy hair a smile and then I turned to the Beta, who had kind brown eyes, massively tall with light brown hair giving him a slight nod in respect before I turned my eyes back to Zander who had been staring at me already, and in his eyes I saw a look I was already getting accustomed to; Love.

After a few minutes of small talk the four males left, to have business talk in Zander's office while Nella, Rebekah and I decided that we were going to go in the living room and talk for a little while and try to get to know each other a bit more. Once we made it into the living room I walked to the sofa with the girls trailing behind me, all we heard as we walked towards the sofa were mine and Rebekah's heels clapping on the floor. When we were at the sofa and were seated, me sitting next to Rebekah we all looked at each other,

"So. . . Rebekah are you a werewolf?"

When I asked her this she looked at both Nella and I, as I saw a sad look overpass her face while she looked down at her hands and started to fiddle with a ring that was on her right middle finger. When she bent her head down like that, that is when I saw a beautiful bite mark on her neck. I felt a ghost of a smile come onto my face,

"No I am not a werewolf Luna Black, like you guys. I am only a Human, You should have seen all the looks I received two years ago when Zack finally told me about himself, all the women and girls that were not mated were giving me hatred filled looks because they thought their alpha could do so much better than a human. I still get them to this day and whispers."

When she was telling us this I could hear the sadness in her voice and I saw that Nella was about to reply to her but I gave her a look that told her that I wanted to tell her. I placed my hand onto her shoulder making her look up into my eyes, I felt a smile grow onto my face but before I could say anything to her she spoke over me

"Why are you smiling at that Luna Black, It is not funny that I get talked to like that or looked at that way just because I am a human!"

I looked at her face seeing that her eyes were beginning to fill with tears, and I felt really bad that I gave her that idea that I was laughing at what she had to go through because I would never do that to her, to anyone. I gave her a soft smile as I placed my hand onto her shoulder

"Sweets I did not mean to give you the idea that I was making fun of the hardships that you go through, I was smiling because you thought that I was a werewolf, I am not a werewolf. I am human as well. Also please you do not have to call me Luna Black you can call me Arielle, We are friends now Rebekah."

When I finished talking I swear that her face lit up like it was Christmas eve and she was a child again waiting to see what Santa left her under the tree. I looked at her as she looked over my face with a huge smile on her face

"Are you telling me the truth Arielle? Are you really a human like me?"

When I heard her voice squeak at the end a little asking that a small giggle came out of my mouth as I told her that I was telling her the truth and that I had only found out about all this werewolves stuff not that long ago.

"So tell me how did you feel after he told you about them?

"Well Zander was not the one who had told me about the whole werewolf thing, it was another friend of ours, Cara that told me. It was after an attack and Zander had been hurt and for some reason he nor his wolf was healing so she called me thinking me being there would help, and it did. When she first told me I was shocked, yes I mean who wouldn't be? But then the only thought in my mind was that I had to get to Zander, That I needed to see him right away, I wanted to be by his side until he awoke and that is exactly what I did."

When I was finished I kind of took a huge deep breath before looking at her, she was smiling at me as she started giggling, as if remembering a funny thought that just flashed into her mind again after a long time.

"Wow at least you reacted way better than me. When Zack told me about himself and how I was his mate and that I was the Luna to his pack. . . Well I kind of fainted. It was really embarrassing to say the least"

When she said this both Nella and I started laughing while holding our stomachs. Both Rebekah and I turned to Nella as she started to talk

"What do you guys think the boys are having a meeting about? I mean I cannot hear them seeing as all the rooms in the home are sound proof and I am kind of curious did they say anything about the meeting to you guys, because I did not hear anything about it, only that there was a meeting"

I looked at Rebekah as we both shrugged our shoulders at her question telling her that we had heard nothing about what it was about, but Rebekah said she thinks it might be about needing our help. We continued talking about anything and everything for about two hours after that when the boys finally entered into the living room, I could see a grim look on Zack's face as well as the others saying that whatever the meeting was about did not turn out okay. The three of us stood up from the sofa, I patted down my dress to make sure that it was flat before both Nella and I turned to Rebekah giving her a group hug telling her to call us whenever she wants and that we are going to hang out very soon.

I waved at the Alpha and Beta as they were leaving, earning myself a nod in return from both. I walked towards a tense Zander who was standing at the front door of the house, I looked to see that he had an angry look on his face while his fist were balled up. When I placed my hands onto his shoulders I immediately felt his body relax underneath me. I watched as his face because calm and his fist slowly flattened out while he placed one of them onto my hand leaning back into my touch. I leaned my head onto his back whispering to him,

"What happen in the meeting to make you so stressed my love?"

I could see around his face a little, seeing as I had to stand on my toes to see over his shoulders and saw that when I called him my love he smiled a small smile as he turned his head a little to face me, intertwining our hands that were still on his shoulders.

"Zack and I got into a yelling match with each other and we said some things that got us both angry, he said something about his people dying because rogues that were attaching and that he wanted the help from the 'most feared Alpha' and the strongest pack, The Blood-Moon pack. But I told him that I couldn't help him not with all the rogues circling our pack since the last attack not to mention we also lost people when they attacked us! I could not just leave my pack without an Alpha to let them get attacked again, I just couldn't. In the end he understood but, it still angered me."

I nodded into his back showing him that I understood what he was saying pulling my hand that was on his shoulder but not attached to his hand down his back and around his waist holding him closer to me saying

"I think you did the right thing Zan, I think that they are good people yes; but we need to worry about the people in our pack first"

"My love you sound more like a Luna every day. I think you should come live with me, here in the pack house."

When he asked me to move here with him and the people of the pack my heart started to thump harder in my chest, I almost immediately yelled yes to him but them I remembered one thing. My father, How am I going to tell him about my father? I pulled away from him, making him turn to me looking over my face. I did not look at him as I pulled my hand away from his looking down at my heels

"May I have some time to think about it please?"

He gave me his large cheeky smile again before leaning down placing a wet kiss onto my cheek

"You can have all the time that you need my beautiful, this is going to be a huge step in our relationship so I understand"

"Relationship huh? So does that mean you're my boyfriend now?"

He gave me a small smile before leaning closer to my face and moved to my ear whispering

"Yes, and soon I shall be your husband."

When he said this I could feel my cheeks heat up in embarrassment. I leaned up a little placing my lips onto his telling him that I was going to go back to my motel room for a while and that I would most likely be back later on in the day seeing as it was only eight in the morning.

-Time skip to the motel-

Once I finally made it back to the motel I parked my car in my usual space getting out of my car pressing the button making my car lock. I made my way up to my room, All I was hearing on the way up were my heels against the floor and the cars driving past on the road. When I had finally made it to my door the first thing that I noticed was the door to my room was slightly open. The first thing you learn while on the run is when you have been made. I could hear my heart in my ears, my father could be in that room right now.

I unlocked my phone while my hands were softly shaking as I was scrolling down to the N section. Once I found 'Nella' I placed my thumb on the button that said 'call' placeing it to my ear. After a few seconds of the phone ringing and me waiting for her to pick up I slowly started to move closer to the door, hearing shuffling coming from inside of the room.

"Hey there beauty miss my beautiful face already? Cara and I are just watching a movie right now what's up?"

I had made it to the door as I slightly opened it hearing it creek as it moved, I slid off my heels in the hallway while slowly moving into my room. I looked around to see that all my clothes were torn and were scattered all around my room, the microwave was on the floor busted. The bed was torn and there were multiple claw marks all around the room. Not to mention the foul smell that was in the air, it was putrid. I had not noticed while looking around the room and smelling that smell my breath had became rugged until I heard Nella on the other side of the line saying in a very serious voice

"Luna, are you okay? Do you need help?"

All I did was turn around to face the door, to make sure no one came in and whisper to her.

"Nella I have not told you guys everything, My father I think he is working with the rogues. . . I ran from him. . . I can not tell you the whole story right now, but I need you to tell Zander--"

Before I could finish my sentence I let out a groan feeling pain on the side of my stomach. I put my hand where the pain was and saw there was blood. . . a lot of blood. I let out another groan placing my hand over the gun shot wound trying to stop the bleeding. When I looked up at the door I saw a man smiling wickedly at me, I looked down at his hand seeing that he was holding a gun that had some type of silencer on it pointing it right at me.

I tried to scream but nothing came out but soft sobs from the pain I felt when he shot me for a second time, on the other side of my stomach making me drop my phone onto the floor along with my body.

"Hello Luna Black, Your father really wants to see you"

I was lying on my back looking at the ceiling that was going in and out of focus as I heard yelling from the phone that was right next to my ear. I heard Nella yelling at people on her side of the phone and at me.

"Luna what happen, please be okay, we are on our way just hold on!"

The only thing that I could force out of my mouth as I was choking on blood was a soft but firm

"Nella he shot me."

With the metallic smell of blood in the air and the horrendous laugh of the man who shot me twice everything around me disappeared from sight.

YOOOOO hope you guys like this. I reset my computer to factory settings and it started working again, but sadly I lost all my work including my school work seeing as I do school on this laptop. But yes I will be trying to edit the rest of the chapter and put in the memories hehe. The was edited on 11/2/2016. This was re-edited on 23/7/16 PS WTH HE JUST SHOT HER TWICE SO NOT COOL.
