JAMES POTTER was quite determined to keep his baby sister safe. Madeline Potter was quite sure her twin was mentally insane. He'd been keeping her safe from any and everything, from falling off a broom to suffering from heartbreak, James protected her from it all. At least, he tried to.

IT DIDN'T work when half the time Madeline fought it and therefore fought him. Because she was a teenage girl who was perfectly capable of taking care of herself ( thank you very much ).
And it seemed to only take Madeline falling for one of three off-limit boys within Hogwarts for the twins to discover that despite the fight and gore,  they were family and that mattered.
