After a long talk, the Avengers set out, going in groups. Steve would be taking a group and going out to Helen Cho's lab, following a lead on Ultron. Meanwhile, Tony would be heading to Nexus to figure out if the team had an ally, instead of just an enemy of Ultron.

So, those in between, would be heading back to the tower to wait, including Bruce and Five.

The wait was long and painfully slow, but unfortunately ended up with an argument. Then again, what could you expect from these heroes?

Tony believed that he was doing the right thing, but sadly, Steve disagreed, ending up in a fight. This ruckus caused the sleeping ginger to wake up, following the noise to find a robot-man bursting from the cradle, ready to attack but being deflected by Thor.

"I'm sorry, that was... odd." The red man claimed, a stone glowing brightly on his forehead. "Thank you." He continued, directing his regards to Thor, who had helped create him.

"Thor, you helped create this?" Steve questioned, an underlying tone of disbelief in his voice.

"I've had a vision." Thor claimed, "A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at its centre is that." He gestured towards the gem placed on the robot/man's head.

"What— the gem?" Bruce questioned as everyone had gathered in front of the vision, Five not noticing the Maximoff twins just yet.

"It's the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities." The god informed as Five stepped closer to Thor's vision.

"Then why would you bring it to—" Steve's question was cut off by the God of Thunder, already having an answer.

"Because Stark is right."

"Oh, it's definitely the end of times." Bruce said, humour lacing his voice.

"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron." Thor claimed, sending them all a grave look.

"Not alone." The robot-man added, his voice sounding almost robotic with a British accent. He sounded just like Stark's AI system.

"Why does your 'vision' sound like JARVIS?" Captain America asked, eyebrows raised slightly.

"We— we reconfigured JARVIS' matrix to create something new..." Stark explained briefly, in a way that was simple to understand.

"I think I've had my fill of new." Steve said dramatically.

"You think I am a child of Ultron?" The vision inquired, his eyes gazing at Cap almost judgementally. There was a lot of tension, between pretty much everybody in the room, other than Five, who still had not seen Wanda and Pietro.

"You're not?" Steve commented in a snarky tone.

"I'm not Ultron. I'm not JARVIS. I am— I am..." Vision couldn't seem to figure out what he wanted to say, so somebody else spoke up.

"I looked into your head and saw annihilation." The younger Maximoff twin claimed, her scrutinising gaze set on the man wielding the Mind Stone. At the sound of her accented voice, Five turned so quickly that she nearly fell over, her eyes immediately resting on the twins.

"Pietro!" She cheered, running towards him as he looked at her with a large smile. She hugged him, being lifted up into his arms as he squeezed her tightly.

"Look again." Vision told the woman, bringing them back to the serious topic at hand.

"Yeah, her seal of approval means jack to me." Clint told the group, a narrow-eyes glare being sent the twins' way.

"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone, and they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side—" The god of thunder was cut off by Steve, who sent a pointed look to the vision.

"Is it? Are you? On our side?" The Rogers man questioned.

"I don't think it's that simple." The thing claimed, its voice hesitant as it knew Captain America wouldn't appreciate that answer.

"Well, it better get real simple, real soon." Clint said, his glare now set on the vision.

"I am on the side of life," Vision claimed. "Ultron is not. He will destroy it all." His gaze swept over the group, lingering on the twins and Five.

"What's he waiting for?" Stark asked logically.

"You."

"Where?" Banner questioned, though he wasn't answered by the recently created vision.

"Sokovia. He's got Nat there, too." Clint answered, his suspicious looks being sent to Vision.

"If we're wrong about you, if you're the monster that Ultron made you to be..." Bruce trailed off.

"What will you do?" He looked over all of them again, before continuing.
"I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique, and he's in pain. But that pain will roll over the earth, so he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go. " The Vision picked up Thor's hammer before handing it to him, who took it after a second of shock.

The Vision left the room, all of them watching after him in complete shock, but the silence was broken by Five.

"I missed you guys!" She exclaimed, still being lifted by Pietro.

"Right," Thor patted Tony on the shoulder as he left. "Well done."

"Three minutes," Steve told them. "Get what you need."
