HUMAN CARLISLE CULLEN

━━ When I think of human Carlisle Cullen, it's always followed by the hot priest from Fleabag. IDK WHY.

━━ Again, a conservative catholic. He was raised by an Angelican Pastor during a time of religious and political upheaval.

━━ Though he is a conservative catholic. He didn't agree with all of the things that his pastor father taught him.

━━ I think he has major daddy issues. When he turned into a vampire, he knew his father wouldn't spare him. His father led hunts for vampires, werewolves, witches, and other supernatural creatures. Carlisle knew that his father would kill him since his father had no problem with killing creatures like him.

━━ I wholly believe that he was engaged or romantically involved with someone when he was human. The raid is like something that would prove to his father that he is ready for marriage or to be a man. To take on a higher role in his father's community.

━━ Probably got sick to his stomach after witnessing his first execution. He went home that night and couldn't sleep.

━━ He was born in London, but I don't think he has a posh accent. In the Twilight guide, it says that he's trying to lessen his British accent; that's quite posh—not necessarily the word used, but it was pertaining to that. I'm still figuring out his accent.

━━ He has a pocket watch with his mother's photo. We all know that Carlisle's mother died during childbirth. That's why he's raised by his strict father.

━━ Had a profoundly empathetic heart, even as a human. Always the kid who tried to help the injured dog or stood up for someone being bullied.

━━ He was probably a quiet, observant child.

━━ Absolutely, the kid who tried to nurse an injured bird back to health. And he definitely cried if it didn't make it.

━━ Took his role as a pastor's son seriously. He genuinely wanted to help people—until his dad started witch hunts and vampire hunts.

━━ Didn't believe all supernatural creatures were evil. But he had to pretend to, or else he'd be accused of heresy.

━━ He thought he wanted to be a pastor. Serve the lord, and his word. But he doesn't honestly know what he wants since he doesn't truly know any other way.

━━ Even as a human, he was fascinated by medicine. Probably snuck medical books when he wasn't supposed to.

━━ He was stupidly handsome, even as a human. Change my mind. You can't.

━━ Had flawless manners. Always stood when a lady entered the room, removed his hat indoors, and spoke respectfully.

VAMPIRE CARLISLE CULLEN

━━ He can resist human blood better than any other vampire. But don't be mistaken—he still smells it. It's still tempting.

━━ His self-control is legendary. He works in a hospital, surrounded by blood every single day—and doesn't even flinch.

━━ Has the strongest self-control of any vampire. Not just in his family but the entire world. Other vampires literally think he's a myth.

━━ Has never once slipped. Ever. Not even when he was starving. Not even when he was newly turned. He willed himself to resist.

━━ Hates violence, but he's stronger than he looks. He doesn't fight often, but if he has to? You do not want to be on the receiving end.

━━ Heals people with no judgment. Vampire, human, enemy—it doesn't matter. If you're hurt, he will help you. It's not only because he took an oath, but he genuinely will help you out of the goodness of his undead heart.

━━ A literal father figure to everyone. You don't even have to be a Cullen—he gives advice, comfort, and wisdom to anyone who needs it.

━━ Has the most calming presence. Walk into a room with him, and you immediately feel safe.

━━ Knows every medical fact possible. He's had centuries to learn. He's probably invented techniques modern doctors haven't even discovered yet.

━━ Still gets excited about medical discoveries. Man has been alive for centuries, but what if a new cure is found? He's thrilled.

━━ Loves Esme for who she is. Not just because she's beautiful—but because of her heart, her kindness, her strength.

━━ He is the softest with her. He's gentle with everyone, but with Esme? He melts.

━━ Talks to her like they're still courting. "My love." "Dearest." "Sweetheart." He's an old-school romantic.

━━ They slow dance sometimes, just because.

━━ He strives to be the better version of his father. He left his father's teachings and became a better father to his adopted children. Blood or not, they are his kids, no matter what.

━━ Somehow, he knows everything his kids are up to. They have no idea how he does it.

━━ Wears suits casually. Because he thinks they're comfortable.

━━ The softest husband but the strongest leader.

━━ Knows more about the human body than any living doctor. Because he's been studying medicine for centuries.

━━ Never wants to kill but will end you if you threaten his family. And he'll feel guilty about it afterward.

━━ He is the only one who can get Edward to chill. When Edward is being dramatic, Carlisle just gives him one look, and suddenly, Edward is rethinking his entire existence.

━━  Thinks social media is fascinating. He loves the idea of humans documenting their lives.

━━ Use proper grammar in every text message.

━━ Wears glasses even though he doesn't need them. Just for ✨aesthetic doctor reasons.✨

━━ The Volturi are personally offended by his existence. Aro is like, "Why won't you drink human blood?" and Carlisle's just like, "Because I don't want to."
