"ALRIGHT, LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD..." Jacob trailed off as he looked outside from the window, and Arlina looked up from where she was packing beside Alec in the living room.
"Alice asked me to give you that. She and Jasper crossed our lands to the ocean last night." Sam told Carlisle and his thumb traced the dried ink on the page before he looked over at his wife.
"Carlisle?" She questioned with a concerned look and he turned to look at everyone else.
"They've left us." Carlisle responded and Arlina looked down at her hands in sadness.
"Why?" Rosalie pestered and Carlisle looked back down at the paper.
"She didn't say."
"Can I see that?" Bella asked, stepping forward and Carlisle passed her the note, which she read on her own.
It was silent for a moment before Alec cleared his throat, "We must get going." He spoke, taking Arlina's hand softly in his own and she looked up at him with a nod.
She bid her goodbyes to her family and got into the car with Alec and Bree, the three taking a trip to Venice where they'd meet with the two doofuses who messaged Alec, asking to reunite.
"Are you sure it's not a trap?" Bree leaned forward from the back seat, sticking her head between the mates and Arlina looked over at Alec, who kept his eyes on the road, focused.
"Mhm." Alec confirmed in a hum, chewing on the inside of his cheek in nerves and Arlina reached over, placing her warm hand on the back of his cold on and rubbing her thumb over his knuckles in a comforting tactic.
"How are you so sure?" Bree continued and Arlina looked back at her, giving her a look, causing Bree to hesitate before she huffed and threw herself into her seat.
Arlina rolled her eyes playfully at how dramatic her little sister was before she turned her head and looked out the window, it would be a long drive and she wasn't sure if she could handle watching Alec nervous for that long.

ALEC, ARLINA AND BREE STOOD IN THE CLEARING OF THE WOODS IN VENICE, LOOKING AROUND THEM EXPECTANTLY, they heard a whoosh sound from their left in between the trees, so Alec ran into the trees, trying to find them.
Bree and Arlina stayed put, they interlocked their hands and looked around them, protecting each other. Alec on the other hand, fell face forward into the ground while Felix and Demetri laughed loudly.
"That was so fun!" Felix exclaimed with a cackle and Demetri offered his hand to Alec, and the Witch twin took it, but instead of getting himself up, he pulled Demetri down too, causing the blonde to bash his nose into a small log, "That was even more fun!"
"Shut up, Felix." Demetri rolled his eyes, wiping his nose as Alec got up from the ground, a proud grin plastered onto the brunette's face. Alec walked over to Felix and the pair hugged, missing the other one's embrace.
Demetri stood across from them, a small smile playing on his face before it dropped, he looked over near some trees and smiled wider than ever when he noticed Bree and Arlina walking towards them. Arlina swatted a branch out of her face and scrunched her brows, annoyed by the inanimate object.
"It's just a branch, sister." Demetri rolled his eyes and walked over to them, hugging Bree immediately, and the aforementioned girl laughed lightly as he lifted her from the ground.
"Okay, calm down, buddy." Arlina patted Demetri's shoulder with a raised brow and a playful smile, and he pulled away from Bree before he embraced Arlina.
Felix sped over to the group, pulling Arlina from Demetri's arms and hugging the Cullen himself, causing the air to escape from Arlina's lungs, "Felix, you're killing me."
"You're already dead though." Felix shrugged, hugging her tighter and Arlina coughed loudly, patting his chest.
"You can still crush me!" Arlina exclaimed as he pulled away quickly in realisation, and the redhead smiled jokingly before she leaned up and kissed the Volturi boy's cheek.
"So, I think you guys already know why we asked to meet." Demetri began, glancing over at Alec who had made his way over, wrapping his arm around his mate's shoulders comfortingly, "Did your family really make an Immortal Child?"
"Do you really think that low of us, D?" Bree questioned, her hands on her hips and her head tilted to the side and Demetri put his hands up in mock surrender.
"No, no. We just wanted to know if it was true." He explained and Felix turned to him, his brows scrunched.
"What the hell?" Felix turned to the two Cullens and Alec, his hands now also in mock surrender, "For your information, I never believed you made one of those."
"We know." Alec chuckled, looking over at Demetri with a small smile, "She isn't an Immortal Child, she was birthed by Bella, and Edward is the father."
"Is that even possible? We just guessed she had dwarfism." Felix shrugged, raising his eyebrows and Bree turned to him, a confused, questioning look on her face.
"What is wrong with you both?" Bree asked and Arlina snorted loudly, trying to cover it with a cough but she failed miserably, causing Alec to laugh too.
"A lot." Felix nodded proudly, and Demetri punched his brother's arm aggressively, causing the taller Volturi to glare at the other.
"Moving on, what did you bring us here for?" Arlina crossed her arms over her chest and tilted her head slightly, looking at the two man-children.
"Well... we wanted to stand against the Volturi with you, they plan to kill you all." Demetri explained but Alec began shaking his head before he even finished speaking.
"No, I will not allow that. I won't allow you to turn against your friends." Alec demanded but Felix and Demetri weren't accepting it.
"Our friends? Please, our only friend was you and you abandoned us, of course we do not blame you because of that fire Goddess, but we want to stand with you now, we want to stand for what is right." Demetri finished with a pleading look on his face and Felix's face lightened.
"Yeah!" The taller Volturi exclaimed, causing Arlina to erupt into laughter, fighting non-existent happy tears.
"Well, I say yeah." Bree shrugged and Demetri smiled wide, hugging her tightly and then he looked over at his youngest non-biological brother with a convincing expression.
Alec was stuck in thought for a minute, he stared into the trees with a distant look before he shifted his eyes to his beautiful mate, whose golden orbs was looking back at him intently. He nodded, glancing over at Bree, who nodded back at him.
"Okay." Alec confirmed and Demetri and Felix began cheering in excitement, happy to be back with their brother again and enthusiastic to stand against what was wrong.
