"Mmm,what time is it.." a certain girl said,she slowly opened her eyes and saw the time.

7:50

She quickly got off her bed and tripped in the process of running to her bathroom.

"Ow,ow,ow oh IM LATE-"

She decided to take a shower and tried to do it properly while hoping she gets to school on time.

After wearing her uniform,she blow-dried her hair,grabbed her homework and bag then hurried down the stairs of their house.

"Bye mom,dad,Nami!! I have to go now!"

"Haname!! Wait!"

"What??"

"Your shoes! You're still wearing your indoor slippers!"

"Huh? But- aahh wait!-"

She then hurriedly put on her school shoes and kissed her mom on the cheek goodbye.

"See you later!!"

"See you! Stay safe and good luck!"

"Huh?!? I'm sorry I have to-"

"..huh?" They both said in sync.

"You're that..that girl from yesterday right? The one who bought two strawberry shortcakes?"

"Uh,yeah how do you..oh! You're the guy who gave me my order!"

"Heh,yeah,nice meeting you here though"

"Mhm! Nice to mee- I'M LATE!!-"

"WOAH!- calm down geez-" as the girl tried to run to school,the boy with her grabbed the back of her collar and spun her around to face him.

He then started shaking her side to side aggressively making the poor girl's soul fly out of her now dizzy body.

"..so..you okay..?"

"Auh..uh..mmm..yea-"

The girl tried to make the dizziness in her head stop as the boy just sweat-dropped and glanced away.

"Ah..sorry"

"I-its f-fine uhh"

"Why are you in such a hurry anyway?"

The girl's eyes widened before she cried dramatically and said to him, "because..I'm late on my...second day of high school.." her sniffles stopping her at the middle of her sentence.

"Huh? But it's still 6:45 though"

"..."

"..."

"..eh?" She asked dumbfounded,the boy showed her the time on his phone. "B-b-but I-" and that's where it clicked,she forgot to reset her alarm.

"Ah..ahahahaha.."

And as if it was possible,the boy sweat-dropped even more. He rubbed the back of his neck "have you..eaten breakfast yet..?" He asked while looking at a different direction.

"Oh,uh no,I got scared of being late I didn't bother eating anything"

The boy,Kairu stared at her,Haname for a while before saying,

"wanna eat first?"

"Haahh,sooo tastyyy"

"Make sure to chew properly"

"Hai,hai"

The two were now in a cafe eating pancakes and orange juice.

"I'm gonna pay you after this okay?"

" I told you there's no need to"

"I'm still doing it"

"fine.."

They talked about their interests and found that they were both very similar to each other.

After they've finished eating and after Kairu convincing Haname that she didn't have to pay him back,they both walked to school together as the time was now 7:32.

"I'm telling you those guys just won't stop"

"Geez, jealous much?"

They were both talking about when Kairu won a soccer match against their school's soccer team 3 times in a row.

"I almost got suspended though"

"Huh? Why?"

"A player who was slightly bigger than me kicked mud on my white shirt,so I wanted to get him back by spitting water on his shirt but I accidentally aimed it at the couch"

"PFFT-"

Haname was now crouching down as she imagined the scene on her head, especially Kairu's reaction.

"Yeah yeah laugh all you want"

"Ahh,you sure you 'accidentally' did it?"

"Shut up"

"Alright,alright"

Haname waved him off and walked slightly ahead of him.

They both arrived at their school and said their goodbyes to each other.

'hmm class 1-A.."

I walked in the hallway trying to point out where my class for this year is.

After walking for minutes,I saw the sign and someone.

I walked closer and saw...

We both stared at each other and after a few seconds,

"Hi again"

"..hi"

We both stood in either comfortable or awkward silence.

"Um,let's go..?"

"Y-yeah.."

As I tried reaching for the door knob,I didn't notice he was also reaching for it as well,making our hands touch each other.

We both quickly retracted our hands,his in his pockets and mine playing with the ends of my bangs.

"Um,you go first"

"Uh,no you go"

"Ladies first"

"No it's fine you can go"

"Ehem,can I go?" A voice said behind us and I saw my friend,Sora.

"Sora! Good morning!"

"Good morning Haname,you too Kairu"

"Yeah, morning"

"So,are we just going to stay here orrrr-"

"Ok I'll go first" Kairu said interrupting Sora.

I followed next with Sora walking in last.

I took my seat which is by the window seat at the back and saw Kairu was beside mine with Sora infront of me.

I took my seat and looked outside,admiring the soft sway of the cherry blossom tree.

Little did she know a certain raven-haired boy was also looking except,he was admiring her.

The teacher arrived and told the students who were freely roaming around the room to take their seat.

"Okay class,let us start our attendance"

The ones quiet and empty hallways were now filled with chatters and students who were now out of their classrooms to eat lunch.

"Sorry um excuse me-"

"Oh uh here-"

"Hey watch it"

"Sorry!"

I quickly pushed myself out of the crowd and walked towards the rooftop.

I took a deep breath before letting out a soft sigh.

Making my way to a bench near the railing,I saw a figure just sitting and not eating.

As I walk closer,I finally saw who it was.

It's him again

I quietly walked towards the unoccupied side of the bench and stared at the sky for a few seconds.

"Looks like fate really wanted us to meet every time huh?"

"..yeah..oh huh?-"

A soft chuckle filled my ears as I looked at the source of it and saw it was coming from Kairu.

"Want to eat?" He offered me an egg roll,and smiled.

I blushed lightly at him and thanked him.

"Want some of this?" I offered a plum filled riceball at him as he quickly nodded making me lightly laugh at his childish behavior.

The two teens happily ate their lunch,sometimes offering the other some of theirs.

They were comfortable with each other,just the two of them,with cherry blossom petals gracefully swaying along the wind.
