Annnnnd, I'm back with the tutorials! 

This part contains: a gold text tutorial and my over-used text style tutorial as well!

G O L D     T E X T

Step 1:

Start by typing in the title in a plain white font. I used two different fonts and rasterized the layers before merging them into one.

Step 2:

Next, copy the text layer and select the copied layer. Then, go to layer effects which is the Fx button and click on gradient overlay.

Opacity: 100%

Style: Reflected (check align with layer)

Angle: 90

Scale: 100%

Step 3:

Now, check the bevel and emboss layer. Set the values as shown.

Step 4:

Check contour as well. You don't have to change anything here.

Step 5:

Go to inner glow now and set the values as shown.

Step 6:

Here, I added a gold overlay to the text to give it a bit more of a gold-ish look.

Step 7:

I now added an old paper texture and set the blend mode to 'Color Burn'.

Step 8 (optional from here):

I wanted the word 'World' to have a bit of a wrapped in vines look so, I created a new layer and painstakingly drew vine like lines with my MOUSE using a soft-edged,dark green brush.

Step 9:

Next, I went in with a leaf shaped brush and added leaves (which look like thorns) and played with 'inner glow' and 'bevel and emboss' layer effects.

Step 10:

To give the letters more depth, I added a willow leaves png and masked it according to my wish.

Step 11:

Finally, I added two curves clipping masks to adjust the brightness. I also played with the blur tool here and there.

T R A N S L U C E N T     T E X T

Step 1:

Type in you heading and set the blend mode to 'Overlay'. Then go to layer styles (the Fx icon) and add a drop shadow. Duplicate the layer.

Step 2:

Here, I created a new layer, added a gradient of my choice and clipped the gradient layer to a copy of the text layer.

Step 3:

Duplicate the layer once more to enhance the brightness and you're done!
