Brooklyn Bushnell just wanted to feel part of her family. Growing up in one where everyone had a connection with ice was hard, even more so because she didn't even know how to stay on it without falling down.

While her family had never made it notorious, Brooke couldn't help but feel left out and somewhat naïve about anything to do with an ice rink. Even more so, given that most conversations were about it.

Brooke wasn't a very open person, she felt that everything was better when she kept her problems to herself, plus she was too embarrassed to ask her own mother to teach her how to skate. It was the fear of disappointing her that held her back.

However, when a place on a team of beginner figure skaters becomes available, she can't help but be tempted to want to join. So she decides to turn to the one person she isn't afraid of disappointing, because she knows that they both feel nothing but indifference towards each other.

Inevitably, Brooke decides to ask for help to her older brother's best friend to teach her and support her as best as possible. Unaware of the rule her brother had in his group of friends: his younger sister was out of their reach.

But what happens when it becomes more than just lessons? What happens when it becomes even more than just a secret between the two? Or worse, would that secret be worth it or would it just be one more forgotten secret?
