Taehyung's POV Continues...

"What?" They said with shocked expressions, and I nodded.

"But why so suddenly?" Hoseok Hyung asked

"He thinks that I should have a partner who can take care of me and heal me. Not knowing that I am better off being single."

"He isn't wrong, though," Jin hyung replied, and my eyes widened

"Hyung?"

"Yes, Tae. I think you should move on," He said while smiling. "Look at me and Eun-ji (Jin's wife). We are living happily today."

"That doesn't mean Hyung, she will be the same as Eun-ji Noona."

"Yes, but Tae, what's the problem? Look at me and Chaewon (Yoongi's wife), she never did anything that could hurt me," Yoongi hyung said, trying to make me understand, but I wasn't ready to even think about getting married.

I thought that sharing my problem with my friends could help me ease myself a little, but it was completely the opposite. My expressions became full of fury, and it didn't go unnoticed by Namjoon Hyung. He passed me a glass of water and said

"Here, take this, and now listen to us carefully."

I took the glass from him and gulped the water. I looked at him, waiting for him to speak.

"Look Tae, if uncle wants you to marry that girl, then I am sure he has taken that decision after careful thought. He won't do something that will ruin your life."

"But-"

"No ifs and buts Tae. No one's forcing you, but at least think about it." Hoseok hyung said, which forced me to reconsider my decision, but then again, memories of Ha-rin flashed in my mind. The way she cheated me with that boy. What if Choi Y/n does the same? I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Jin-hyung asking me something

"By the way, Tae, what's her name?"

"Choi Y/n," I said with an emotionless face.

"CHOI Y/N, you say!?" Jimin exclaimed, and I just nodded

"The daughter of Y×J Fashion's Owner?" He asked, and I nodded once again.

"GOD! Tae, why are you missing such a golden opportunity? I have heard she is so kind and her business skills are so sharp."

"People are different from what they show themselves on screen, Jimin."

"Still, you said you know her from Childhood?"

"Yes, Somi is still her good friend. But I never talked to her much as Somi, Y/n and her sister were always busy with girly stuff, and I used to get bored with them."

"At Least you know her personality. Do you think she can hurt you?" Jin Hyung asked me, but I clenched my jaw

"Hyung... I never imagined that Ha-rin would cheat me, but she did."

"You are right but she is uncle's choice, so I would suggest that you should think about it once, Tae." Namjoon hyung said, placing his hand on my shoulder, "Nobody will force you. The rest is up to you." He gave me a smile

I thought about reconsidering my decision as they were right. Dad won't choose someone for me who can hurt me. Should I say yes or wait? I was lost in my thoughts as this whirlwind of emotions was too much for me. To ease the environment, hyungs changed the topic related to work and our day-to-day lives.

I entered my house and saw my parents sitting in the living room having their evening tea. I was about to go, but they stopped me and asked

"Tae come sit with us," I nodded and sat on the couch. Mom poured the tea from the kettle and passed it to me. "Have some... it will help you refresh yourself after all the work stress."

I smiled, taking the cup and sipping the tea. "Thanks, Mom."

She smiled at me, and Dad asked, "I know Tae that you're tired, but I wouldn't force you after this. So tell me your final decision."

I looked up at Dad and said

"I am ready."

Their eyes widened with shock.

"Tae. Really?" Mom asked, and I nodded.

"I trust you both. So yeah, I am ready."

"Omo... I can't believe... Tae, thank you so much, my son. I promise that you'll never regret your decision"

Seeing such a big smile on her face made me smile too. If marrying Y/n makes my parents happy, then I am ready.

「 𝐘/𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕 」

I was sitting in the living room with my parents, but there was complete silence in the room.

My mind is swirling back to the thoughts of yesterday's meeting. Will Mr. Cha work with us?

The silence was broken when Appa's phone rang, and it was from Mr. Cha. Maybe he has made a decision. I took a deep breath as I waited for Appa to take the call and hear what he wanted to say.

Appa answered the call, and his lips curled up into a smile. Is it a Yes? Appa kept his phone aside and smiled while looking at me

"I am proud of you, Y/n. Mr Cha is ready to work with us on this project."

I couldn't hide my smile and jumped with joy

"Really?" I asked to confirm, as I still can't believe what I heard.

Appa nodded while smiling. I can't believe it's happening for real. Eomma and Lia hugged me and congratulated me.

After all this, as we settled back into our seats, Appa asked me

"Y/n, I am happy that you are slowly progressing, and nothing makes me happier than seeing you learn and grow like this."

My heart swelled up with his appreciation, my smile dropped, hearing his next words

"I want you to focus on your personal life now. I want you to find a partner for yourself and start a new journey. I think a boy like Taehyung will be best for you."

"But Appa-"

"Y/n, do you trust me?"

"Of Course, Appa!"

"Then marry him. I'll never do something that can ruin your life. Trust me. I know it might be hard for you both in the beginning, but as time passes, I am sure you both will get comfortable with each other and start a new life."

I was completely silent at the moment. I don't know how to react. I do trust Appa and his decisions, but then, should I say yes?

"Tell us, dear. Will you marry him?" Eomma asked, hoping for a yes. And I didn't disappoint her this time.

I took a deep breath and said, "Alright. If you say so, Appa, I will marry him."

Upon hearing my response, Appa and Eomma were overjoyed. The smiles on their faces were everything I had always hoped to see.

But a sudden realization hit me, the fact that I have to leave my parents, with whom I have stayed for 28 years. This won't be easy. I said yes cause Appa wanted, but did I take the right decision?

I was sitting in the Cafe with my best friends.

I could see the concern in Ryujin's eyes after seeing me silent for so long. She placed her hand on my palm and asked

"What is it, Y/n? Is there something bothering you?"

I nodded and said "yes"

"Then tell us," Felix asked, and I took a deep breath.

"Appa wants me to marry his friend's son, and I agreed."

Their eyes widened with shock, and Ryujin asked

"But suddenly?"

I sighed and told them everything about Uncle Kim and his son Taehyung.

"Did I make the right decision? I think I should have thought about it, but I just said yes."

"There is no point in regretting it now, Y/n, you already said yes to it," Felix said while looking at me, but I was too confused at the moment.

"I know Lixie. But... It's just that these things are new for me. Will I be able to handle my married life?"

"You will, dear," Ryujin said, a smile plastered on her face. "Why are you so worried about the future? Focus on the present. Focus on your wedding. And about your life, Taehyung, I think everything will come on track with time. Trust me"

I smiled, hearing her encouraging words. But the whirlwind of thoughts in my mind was too much for me to handle.

"By the way, Y/n, how is Taehyung? I mean his personality?" Felix asked me, wanting to know more about Taehyung

"Umm... I don't know much about him. He was an introvert. When he used to visit our house, he preferred staying quiet. And if by chance we talked, then it was about academics and daily basis stuff."

Felix nodded, but Ryujin interrupted, "That's fine, but how does he treat girls? He is not a pervert, right?"

"Uhh, how will I know that? But he had a girlfriend, so I think he would be respectful."

"Look, Y/n, I just want to say that after meeting him, if you feel like that, you don't like him, then please say No. Don't force yourself into this marriage. You don't even know him well enough yet. Do you think you'll be able to make this marriage work with him?"

Ryujin's words made me gulp my saliva. She was right after all, I know nothing about Taehyung. Will I be happy after this?

"Ryu, stop scaring her. Y/n just do whatever you like, ok. If you trust uncle, then go ahead, but if you don't like Taehyung, then please say no before it's too late. It's your life and your choice. Alright," Felix said while placing a hand on my shoulders and giving him a small smile.

"Thank you guys! I feel better after meeting you both," I said with a smile.

"Y/n, remember that we both are always there for you, no matter what decision you take. You can always rely on us." Ryujin said, and my heart swelled with affection for them.

They have always supported me in my toughest times, and I don't have to think twice about sharing my problems with them.

"Thanks, Ryu, thanks, Lixie."

"You don't have to thank us, Y/nie. Take care of yourself. Alright," Felix said, and I smiled at both of them.

After having some good food, we three shared a group hug and parted ways.
