AMBER WALKED THROUGH the crowded streets of Sokovia, it appeared she was looking for someone, and there they stood, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff smiled at her and engulfed her in a hug. Then gunshots went off and people began to scatter, Wanda and Pietro held onto her tightly. Wanda and Pietro pushed the girl behind him, as another gunshot had rung through the air.

Amber closed her eyes in fear, until she heard a thud. Pietro was lying on the ground his eyes glazed over, dead. Amber dropped to her knees next to her brother, tears dropping down her face. Wanda was lying next to him, a pool of blood surrounding them. She bent over Wanda to see if she was still alive.

She jumped in fright as Wanda grabbed Amber by the shoulders, "Traitor, it's your fault we're dead. You are not our sister. You are not a Maximoff" Wanda growled, her eyes glowing red.

Amber took a shaky breath, she stood up slowly and looked around, nobody could be seen. The market was in bits, stalls were torn apart. She looked back at the ground, but her brother and sister were nowhere to be seen.

Amber turned slowly looking around her she was alone. Everybody she loved was gone. She had no one left.

Amber jolted awake from the trance she was in. She was being placed on a row of seats on the quinjet by Clint, who must've carried her there from the ship. Amber looked at him in fear, but nodded slightly as a thank you. Clint have the broken girl a soft smile.

She looked around at the rest of the Avengers, Natasha was staring into space, not talking, Thor looked angry but confusion laced his facade and Steve just looked lost, but Bruce and Tony weren't on the jet, in fact they weren't even in sight. Clint sat down on the pilots seat, and began pressing some controls.

Amber leaned her head against the cool wall, 'Would things be better if I just went with them? They hate me now, I betrayed them' she thought to herself.

Amber rubbed her temples trying to relieve the headache that was now forming. Her thoughts were interrupted by multiple other thoughts that echoed in her head, she groaned at the constant buzzing of voices in her mind.

Amber sat up straight as Tony came into the quinjet, helping Bruce sit on the floor. Tony also looked shaken up and distressed. Clint began to fly the quinjet, yet nobody said anything. A few hours passed, and it was still silent. Night had fallen, and Hill was speaking over the radio to Clint,

"The news is loving you guys. Nobody else is,"she sighed, "There's been no official call for Banner's arrest but it's in the air".

"Stark relief foundation?" Tony asked,

"Already on the scene" Maria said sternly, "How's the team?",

"Everyone's... We took a hit. We'll shake it off." Tony said looking at the half broken team, and Amber who was curled up in a ball silently at the back of the ship.

"Well, for now I'd stay in stealth mode," Hill advises him, "and stay away from here."

"So run and hide?" Tony said bending closed to the radio,

"Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot to offer" she replied,

Tony sighed, "Neither do we", he turned off the radio and walked towards Clint.

"Hey, you wanna switch out?" Stark asked him tapping Clint's seat,

"No, I'm good. If you want to get some kip, nows a good time," Clint replied flicking some switches, "We're a few hours out",

"Few hours from where?" Tony asked curiously,

"A safe house" Clint said, Tony shrugged and made his way to a seat.

Amber watched as they began their descent, she'd fallen asleep for fifteen minutes before she was awoken by Tony. Clint landed the quinjet on a large field, with a farm house and barn on it.

The Avengers slowly made their way up to the house, Clint was leading, helping Natasha. Amber slowly trudged after them but fell behind. Tony and Steve looked back at the girl, Steve sighed and hung back so he could talk to the girl.

"Hey" He said softly to the girl, Amber didn't respond. "Are you Ok?" He asked stopping her,

"No, are you?" Amber sighed,

"No, I'm not" Steve tried to comfort her, "But my dream was from 70 years ago. I'll get over it",

"My family," she replied shakily "they basically disowned me" Amber looked down,

"Amber, What they're doing is wrong, they'll come around eventually" Steve said placing a arm on her shoulder.

"I wouldn't bet on it" Amber said sadness weaving her tone, "I have no one. I'm alone. The people I loved the most, they left, I may never see them again",

"You're not alone, you have us" Steve said placing a hand on her shoulder lightly,Now come on let's go catch up with the others" Steve said beginning to walk again, Amber super sped ahead of him so she was right behind Clint and Natasha.

They both jumped when they noticed Amber behind them, which is quite funny as they are advanced assassins, and they should be aware of people sneaking up on them.

"What is this place?" Thor asked curiously,

"A safe house" Tony repeated what Clint had told him earlier,

"I hope" Clint said, opening the door to the house and walking straight inside with Natasha, Amber and everybody else followed behind curiously.

Amber looked around the house, it looked like... well a home. There were toys scattered along the floors, and furniture was scattered here and there.

"Honey?" Clint called out, "I'm home" he looked around the corner to the kitchen. A pregnant woman appeared from the door way holding some paper. She looked shocked to see him.

"Hi" Clint said grinning from ear to ear, "Company, sorry I didn't call ahead" he pulled her in for a kiss. The team stood there awkwardly, Amber smiled slightly at the two.

"This is an agent of some kind" Tony said to Thor,

"Gentlemen and Amber this is Laura." Clint said with an arm wrapped around her waist,

"I know all your names" Laura chuckled awkwardly,"apart from you" she said looking at Amber.

"Honey, This is Amber, she's helping out the team from now on" Clint said to her smiling at Amber,

"I am?" Amber asked, her eyebrow cocking with confusion,

The rest of the team avoided her gaze, but looked rather confused at Clint.

"Ooh, Incoming" Clint said as footsteps came bounding towards the room they were in. He bent down and a little boy and girl ran to hug their dad. "Hi, Sweetheart, hey buddy" he said laughed as they both embraced him tightly.

"These are smaller agents" Tony followed on from his earlier comment,

"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" The girl asked, Clint gasped dramatically as Natasha bent down.

"Why don't you hug her and find out" She grinned, as the little girl ran towards her and hugged her.

"Sorry for barging in on you" Steve said to Laura,

"Yeah, we would've called ahead, but we were too busy having no idea you existed" Tony butted in,

"Yeah, well Fury helped me set this up when I joined. He kept it off S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files" Clint said still holding Laura and the boy, "I'd like to keep it that way. I figure it's a good place to lay low".

"Honey" Laura said softly turning to Natasha,

There was a crunch and Amber looked over, and it took all her will not to laugh. Thor has stepped on some LEGO and tried to conceal it by kicking it under a table.

"I missed you" Natasha said to Laura, "How's little Natasha?" She asked bending down to her bump,

"He's a little Nathaniel" Laura said pursing her lips, "Traitor" Natasha mumbled to the bump.

Amber felt a poke, she looked down and saw Clint's daughter poking her leg. Amber crouched down.

"Hi" Amber said smiling softly at the girl,

"My names Lila, What's your name?" Lila lisped with a big grin,

"Isn't Lila a pretty name." She said to the girl, "My names Amber" she put out her hand for Lila to shake it, but to her surprise Lila engulfed her in a hug.

Amber chuckled as Lila looked at her purple hair, "You have purple hair, that's so cool" Lila said excitedly, "Daddy, can I have purple hair?" She asked her dad,

"Unfortunately not sweetie" Clint said smiling at the pair,

"Yeah purple hair isn't that pretty anyway, I much prefer yours" Amber said twirling a piece of Lila's hair.

"Do you have powers?" Lila asked curiously,

"I do, want to see?" Amber asked,

"Of course" Lila said grinning,

Amber extended one hand out and purple mist began flowing out of it, she slowly formed the mist into the shape of a dog, making it run around Lila in circles excitedly. Lila giggled and laughed as the dog tried to jump up on her.  Amber seeing the look on her teams face, snapped her fingers and the dog evaporated.

"Awww" Lila poured at the disappearance,

"Don't worry you may see him again" Amber said ruffling her hair,

"Cooper would love him, he's my brother. Brothers can be so annoying, I wish I had a sister. Do you have any brothers or sisters Amber?" Lila asked tilting her head, as she rambled.

Amber took a sharp intake of breath, her vision going blurry, the team seemed to notice. They all took a step towards her, as if getting ready to restrain her. Amber noticed this and stood up rapidly.

"I-I- I have to go" Amber said super speeding out of the house in a blur.

"Did I do something wrong?" Lila asked sadly, her face screwing up,

"No sweetie, Amber has been through a lot and just needs time to think" Clint reassured his daughter.

Thor stormed out of the house, Steve quickly followed behind. "Thor?" Steve asked, walking behind him,

"I saw something, in that dream, I need answers. And I won't find them here." He replied swinging his hammer and flying away.

Steve stood outside the house, they had lost two team members in the matter of minutes. Steve could only hope they wouldn't lose anymore.
