CHAPTER ONE

      She can read the words perfectly, she knew what hey meant. But for some reason her brain was taking a longer time to comprehend what the question really meant. And Rosé isn't talking about what it means, but what it means to her. 

'Q: Hi softtofu! I'm a big, big, big fan of your webtoon Falling Dimensions and I never miss an update! Here is my question, all of us loves the relationship that Theo and Reyna have, how did you create it? Was it difficult?'

      Should she be honest and confess that nothing was made up? The relationship between the two leads weren't created out of sheer creativity or something Rosé conjured up, but something that is real. Nothing in that damn book of hers is real, but the feelings that were drawn out, the emotions, those were very much real.

      After all, whatever relationship her characters had was a reflection of the friendship she has with a certain childhood friend of hers. Yes, the book is completely fictional, it's about Greek gods and goddesses, Titans, old legends, and kids trying to save the world when no one else cared enough. But the only thing that was real were the emotions conveyed in the book, the pureness felt through Reyna's feelings for Theo.

      Because the pureness was the same for Rosé's feelings for Tom.

      Maybe she's childish for liking someone she hasn't seen in years, maybe. But can you blame her? He was perfect, too perfect, and she couldn't help but fall for him. 

      Who he is is someone she couldn't create, he's not like a character from her story, he's real. And with the help of some play dates scheduled by their mothers and a few interactions in school, they got closer. Like most girls fantasizing over a boy they don't even know, she filled in the blanks like a fairy tale author and created something so much more.

      That crush never seemed to went away and as she got it older it grew into something she never wanted. She was still irrevocably crushing on a boy in another country, a boy she hasn't seen ever since she moved away.

      And for awhile she thought she was doing alright, that it was nothing more than a silly crush and something she created in her head. Those feelings that she felt as a kid, that tightening in her chest, that quickened heartbeat in her chest, she thought it was something she imagined.

      But it was real, very real. It's her fault after all, she was the one who rekindled the fire that had just began to dim. 

tommy h:
hey rosie, got big news! i may be potentially auditioning for a new role and you won't believe what just happened!

tommy h:
shit just checked my watch. it's late in sydney. okay i'm just going to wait until you wake up.

rosie cha:
no it's fine i'm awake. what's up?

tommy h:
we'll talk about your terrible sleeping schedule later. but i got an offer for an audition! i have no idea what the role is yet, but i'm pretty sure it's marvel? shit i don't even know i'm supposed to be telling you this. oh well

rosie cha:
that's great tommy boy! but you get roles all the time. like i know it's marvel and all, but i know you and i know that's not the big big news you wanna tell me about.

rosie cha:
btw why did you tell me? no offense and all, like i'm grateful, but i'm shocked. i mean i could've found out online when they announced you as the role

tommy h:
well duh, you're little rosie girl. and plus, you're kind of related to that news

tommy h:
your mum is one of the producers and she personally told me about the role and what not

rosie cha:  
  that's great tommy boy!! i'm so happy for you i know you'll get the role!

tommy h:
stop you're only saying that because you're my friend
delivered 3:45 AM

rosie cha:
stfu okay i'm saying this as your biggest fan okay like i still cannot believe that THE tom holland is talking to me like omg god bless your soul for sucking the demons out of me with your presence. if it weren't for this friendship my best friend would've been satan instead.

be right back my phone about to die i need to grab my charger. but i'll skype you when i get back yeah?

rosie cha:
because i know about your darkest secrets and you don't want me to reveal to the world how in primary school you used to wee your pants whenever you saw a spider

tommy h:
i forgot about that. anyways i'll be back in like ten minutes?

rosie cha:
sigh, you complain about how terrible my sleeping schedule is but you're making it even worse now. thanks tommy boy!

tommy h:
haha of course! love ya rosie

      Her cheeks flushed with heat as she reread his last text. Rosé placed a hand over her chest in an attempt to stop her beating heart from increasing at just his words. It was stupid seeing as how he can even after her whilst she's all the way in Sydney. She's even more stupid for staying up just to Skype him.

      "Shut up, Tom," whispered Rosé as she lowered her head until her forehead made contact with the surface of her desk. She let out a chuckle, "You don't love me. Shut up."

      But as Tom left to go get his stupid charger Rosé returned to her laptop to reply back to the question. She found herself typing back a response and clicking send before rereading what she had just wrote.

'A: Don't a lot of people fall in love with the people closest to them?'

Okay but I don't know about you guys, but I'm really satisfied with how this chapter came out! I personally really, really like how I wrote this chapter!
