Aliens of London

Evie was standing in the kitchen with her mum, and they both had a cup of tea in their hands, it had been an entire year since her sister Rose went missing, and there were missing posters spread out all over the kitchen with a picture of her sister, her age, and the last time she had been seen.

The two were going out later to put them up just in case someone had seen Rose. Evie knew where her sister was; well she didn't know exactly where she was but she knew who her sister was with, and she hated lying to Jackie about it, but she knew that her mum wouldn't understand, so she didn't say anything, no matter how much she hated it.

They heard the front door open, making the two look at each other as they heard Rose's voice, "I'm back! I was with Shareen. She was all upset again. Are you in? So, what's been going on? How've you been?" She walked into the kitchen and saw the look on Jackie's face. "What? What's that face for? It's not the first time I've stayed out all night." then her eyes wandered behind her mum, where she saw Evie. "Evie, what are you doing here?"

Jackie is staring at her youngest daughter in shock then she drops her mug of tea. It smashes on the floor. "It's you!" Evie looked at the smashed mug distastefully, knowing she'd be the one to have to clean it up.

The blonde gives her a look. "Of course it's me."

Jackie still can't believe her eyes. "Oh, my God. It's you. Oh my God." Jackie hugs Rose. She looks at her sister confused; Evie only held up one of the posters so Rose could read it. The 19-year-old read the poster, her eyes widening as she looked around the kitchen, seeing a bunch more of those posters lying around.

The Doctor runs in, giving his blonde companion a sheepish look. "It's not twelve hours, it's twelve months. You've been gone a whole year. Sorry."

Evie almost wanted to snort, from what River had told her sometimes he got the dates wrong but she just bit her lip as her mum questioned her sister who told her that she was out traveling but Jackie wasn't buying it so she called the police.

A little while later, the police arrived, and they were scattered around the living room. Evie was sitting back out of the way, sipping her tea, since this had nothing to do with her.

Jackie looked at Rose. "The hours I've sat here, days and weeks and months, all on my own. I thought you were dead, and where were you? Traveling. What the hell does that mean? Traveling? That's no sort of answer. You ask her. She won't tell me. That's all she says: traveling."

"That's what I was doing." Rose tried to defend herself.

But Jackie wasn't buying it and gave the 19-year-old a 'really' look "When your passport's still in the drawer? It's just one lie after another."

Rose looked down guiltily "I meant to phone. I really did. I just forgot."

The redhead was the one that gave her sister a 'really' look that time like she couldn't have come up with something better, though Evie still had yet to speak since Rose arrived.

"What, for a year? You forgot for a year? And I am left sitting here. I just don't believe you. Why won't you tell me where you've been?"

That was when the Doctor spoke up, coming into the conversation, " Actually, it's my fault. I sort of er employed Rose as my companion."

Evie took another sip of her tea to keep herself from laughing as the policeman looked at him. "When you say companion, is this a sexual relationship?"

"No!" both Rose and the Doctor answered at the same time.

Jackie looked between the two of them "Then what is it? Because you, you waltz in here all charm and smiles, and the next thing I know, she vanishes off the face of the Earth! How old are you then? Forty? Forty-five? What, did you find her on the Internet? Did you go online and pretend you're a Doctor?"

"I am a Doctor."

Jackie glared at him. " Prove it. Stitch this, mate!" then she slapped him hard. Evie actually let out a snort at the look on his face. After that, the police left and Rose and Jackie were in the kitchen.

Evie looked at her mum and said, "I'll keep an eye on him." The older woman nodded. Evie looked at him and said, "You, follow me." Then she led him up to the roof to give Rose and Jackie some time to talk alone.

The Doctor looked at her curiously because he didn't know who she was, but she didn't look angry or upset like Jackie had. "Who are you?"

The redhead smiled at him "Evie Tyler."

"Tyler?" The Time Lord questioned.

She nodded "Yeah, Rose is my little sister."

The Time Lord gave her a look "Oh, you don't look like your mum or sister."

Evie shrugged. She had heard that a lot before, and it didn't really bother her anymore. At first, it did, but now not so much. "Mum always says it's because I look more like Dad."

He had noticed her lack of reaction to her sister's reappearance "You don't seem upset that your sister was missing for a year."

Evie shrugged. She still didn't look too bothered about the whole ordeal. "I knew she'd show up sooner or later; the question was just when it was gonna be."

He saw the look in her eyes. "You know I am?"

She smirked at him. "She was right. You are pretty clever."

He gave her a confused look. "She? who?"

"Can't say spoilers..." The redheaded Tyler had already piqued an interest in the Time Lord he wanted to know how she knew who he was, she shouldn't know anything about him, but yet there she was, and he wanted to know where she had learned it and who the woman, Evie mentioned was.

But he didn't get the chance to question her about it cause that was when Rose joined them on the roof. Evie set her sights on the blonde as soon as she approached and crossed her arms. Rose hadn't even noticed Evie there as she started talking " I can't tell her. I can't even begin. She's never going to forgive me. And I missed a year. Was it good?" that was when she noticed Evie and the blonde rolled her eyes at the look she was getting from her older sister "what's the look for Evie?"

Evie glared at her sister. She may have known that her sister was okay, but that still didn't mean she would let her off the hook for disappearing for a year without a word to anyone. "Do you even know how worried mum was about you? Do you even care? You were gone for an entire year, Rose, and you couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone and call Mum so she knew you weren't dead?"

The blonde scoffed at her, "Like you're one to talk to me about calling mum, you're barely home, and the calls are rare."

Evie rolled her eyes "I have a legitimate reason, Rose, our expeditions are usually in places that have horrible cell phone reception, and when I do call it's from a sat phone which I don't always have access to but at least when I'm out I call when I can, you had your phone on you and could have picked it up and called mum at any time and you don't have a viable excuse for that... I was in the middle of an expedition when mum called and told me you were missing, but because I am a good daughter I dropped everything and came home to be with mum because it made her feel a little bit better knowing where one of us was while you were off doing god knows what for a whole year."

The Doctor could feel the tension rising between the sisters, so he cut in before either one of them could say anything else, answering the question the blonde had asked: "Middling."

His answer made Evie snort: "Pretty much... nothing too important happened."

The Doctor gave the elder Tyler a smile, and Rose rolled her eyes, not liking that her doctor seemed to get along with Evie. " You're so useless."

The Doctor looked at the blonde and said, " Well, if it's this much trouble, are you going to stay here now?"

She sighed, "I don't know. I can't do that to her again, though." Evie was just watching, letting the two talk since this didn't really concern her. She also wanted to see what Rose would mention in front of her.

"Well, she's not coming with us."

Rose shook her head "No chance."

"I don't do families."

At that statement, Evie snorted. She remembered River telling her something about the Doctor traveling with her family at one point, but that was all the woman would say because of the spoilers that it would give the redhead, and she couldn't do that.

The Doctor looked at the redhead "Something to say?"

Evie just smirked at him. "Nope... couldn't say even if I wanted to spoilers and all."

Rose gave her sister a confused look. "What?"

Evie shook her head at the blonde. "Nothing, Rose. I couldn't explain it to you even if I wanted to because I couldn't reveal spoilers that could affect the future."

Rose scoffed at her sister and turned back to the Doctor, deciding to ignore the redhead. "She slapped you!"

Evie rolled her eyes, but she was used to this by now. She never understood what had changed in her relationship with Rose because they were best friends when they were younger. Then, suddenly, one day, Rose stopped talking to her and started acting like she was better than Evie.

It was something that, even to this day, Evie didn't understand.

"Nine hundred years of time and space, and I've never been slapped by someone's mother."

Evie smirked at the Time Lord, "Might have been the first time but it probably won't be the last... I'm just guessing on that one."

He shook his head at her, while Rose ignored her comment.

"Your face."

"It hurt!"

Evie nodded, agreeing with him. "Mum can certainly give one hell of a slap."

The blonde looked at the Time Lord "When you say nine hundred years?"

"That's my age."

"You're nine hundred years old?"

The Doctor nodded at her "Yeah."

"My mum was right. That is one hell of an age gap. Every conversation with you just goes mental. There's no one else I can talk to. I've seen all that stuff up there, the size of it, and I can't say a word. Aliens and spaceships and things, and I'm the only person on planet Earth who knows they exist."

There is a deep horn and a spaceship, trailing black smoke passes overhead and heads for the city. It misses Tower Bridge, weaves around St Paul's, then with a nasty backfire and a splutter, dives for the Thames, taking out the Clock Tower. Big Ben chimes once and the spaceship crashes into the river. The Doctor, Evie, and Rose watch a plume of black smoke rise into the air on the horizon. "Oh, that's just not fair."

Evie just gave her sister a look, "You just had to jinx that, didn't you, Rose?"

The blonde just glared at her sister.

The trio was now on the street that had been naturally blocked off. " It's blocked off."

Evie gave the Time Lord a look. "No, really? a spaceship just crashed in the middle of bloody London. Of course, it's blocked off... UNIT and the army are not gonna let anyone near that ship."

"We're miles from the center. The city must be gridlocked. The whole of London must be closing down."

The Doctor looked at the two, his eyes sparkling with excitement. " I know. I can't believe I'm here to see this. This is fantastic!"

"Did you know this was going to happen?"

The Doctor shook his head. "Nope."

"Do you know why it crashed?" The blonde continued to ask questions.

The Doctor shook his head again. "Nope."

Rose gave him a look "Oh, I'm so glad I've got you."

"I bet you are. This is what I travel for. To see history happening right in front of us."

Rose looked at him excitedly "Well, let's go and see it. Never mind the traffic, we've got the Tardis."

Evie butted in, "Yeah, that is probably not the best idea."

The Doctor nodded at the redhead, "As she said, better not. They've already got one spaceship in the middle of London. I don't want to shove another one on top."

"Yeah, but yours looks like a big blue box. No one's going to notice."

"You'd be surprised. In an emergency like this, there'll be all kinds of people watching. Trust me. The Tardis stays where it is."

"So history's happening, and we're stuck here."

"Yes, we are."

The redhead gave the two a look, "Not necessarily; we could see how everyone else is seeing it on TV."

With that, the trio headed back into the Tyler flat, only to find Jackie had invited people over for a sort of gathering; the Doctor was on the couch watching the news about the crash. Jackie brought mugs for Evie, Rose, and her friend Ru Chan, but not the Doctor. The redhead smiled at her. "Thanks, Mum."

Jackie is talking to Ru "I've got no choice."

Ru gives Rose a look. "You've broken your mother's heart."

"I'm not going to make him welcome."

"I cradled her like a child."

The Doctor shushed them. "Oi, I'm trying to listen."

The gathering is turning into a welcome home party for Rose, with wine being served. Evie took a seat next to the Doctor, she let out a quiet snort as a toddler had climbed into the Doctor's lap, wrestling for the remote. The channels flipped back and forth for a couple of minutes before Evie grabbed the toddler handed the remote to the Doctor, and returned the baby to its mother.

The Doctor nodded in thanks. She shrugged but smiled at him, "I wanted to see that, too."

They both turn their attention to the TV. "I'm being told that General Asquith is now entering the hospital. The building's been evacuated. The patients have been moved out onto the streets. The police still won't confirm the presence of an alien body contained inside those walls."

A little while later the Doctor had wandered out of the flat with Evie following behind him, she really wanted to see some action besides just on the TV and she figured that the Doctor was gonna go to the hospital and check it out and she was going to follow him.

They were just walking side by side in silence when Rose spoke, "And where do you think you're going?"

"Nowhere. It's just a bit human in there for me. History just happened, and they're talking about where you can buy dodgy top-up cards for half-price. I'm off on a wander, that's all."

Rose gave the time lord a look. "Right. There's a spaceship on the Thames, and you're just wandering."

He just shrugged. "Nothing to do with me. It's not an invasion. That was a genuine crash landing. The angle of descent, the color of smoke, everything. It's perfect."

Rose gave him a look, "So?"

"So maybe this is it. First contact. The day mankind officially comes into contact with an alien race. I'm not interfering because you've got to handle this on your own. That's when the human race finally grows up. Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay. Now, you can expand. You don't need me. Go and celebrate history. Spend some time with your mum."

"Promise you won't disappear?"

"Tell you what. Tardis key. It's about time you had one. See you later." After that, Rose walked back into the flat.

Evie grinned at the time lord. "It's all a little too perfect if you ask me."

The Doctor looked at her. "Exactly what I was thinking, Evie."

The red haired girl smirked at him, "You're heading to the hospital to see the alien that was on the ship, aren't you?"

He nodded at her, "I am."

She nodded. "I'm coming with you... I've been stuck in this city for an entire year, mum was hesitant to let me wander too far because she was worried that I would disappear on her too, I need a little excitement in my life again."

They walked towards the Tardis, the Dcotor gave her a look. "What did you do before?"

Evie smiled at him. "I was studying archeology, love a tomb, so I was away a lot on expeditions... it was never boring, that's for sure."

They reached the tardis and the Doctor unlocked the door and walked inside with Evie following right behind him she looked around in awe, River had told her that it was beautiful but seeing it for herself was a completely different story "oh wow she is gorgeous."

The Tardis lights brightened slightly as she sensed something in Evie... The Doctor looked at the redhead. "Not what I was expecting, most people say it's bigger on the inside."

Evie smirked at him "yeah well I'm not most people and plus I knew that already, she's just as beautiful as she described it to me... I just had never seen it for myself; all I had to go on was a description, and she's so much more beautiful in person than in the description." lights brightened more at Evie's words, and she felt a hum in her mind.

"She likes you." Evie smiled at that, "So this friend of yours, whoever she is, knows me?"

Evie gave him a look "Yes, some time in the future, I don't know how or anything she couldn't tell me because of the spoilers. She told me everything that she could, but there is a lot that she couldn't tell me either because it had something to do with my future, her future or yours none of which I could know about... anyway how about that hospital?"

He chuckled and nodded at her, "Let's check it out." then he pulled the lever, and the tardis dematerialized. The Tardis is not happy in flight. The Doctor resorts to a large hammer to sort things out.

Making Evie give him a look. "You know she might work with you a little better if you didn't beat her with a hammer." Evie feels a hum of agreement in her mind and gives the Doctor a smug look. "See, she agrees with me."

He rolled his eyes at them. "You two are already teaming up on me?"

Evie just shrugged with a grin. "Guess so."

A few minutes later, the Tardis, meanwhile, parked herself in a storeroom. The Doctor uses his sonic screwdriver on the door lock. Evie looked at him, "could that thing be any louder?" his sonic was making quite a bit of noise as he used it.

"Shush."

Evie gave him a look. "are you shushing me or the screwdriver?"

He doesn't answer her as the door unlocks and Evie and the Doctor walk into a room full of Red Berets - the Parachute Regiment. They stare at each other silently for a moment, then the soldiers grab their weapons and point them at the two strangers. Something bursts out of the cooler, and Toshiko screams. Everyone hears it. The Doctor looks at them. " Defence plan delta! Come on. Move! Move!" He leads the Marines out of the room at the double.

Evie was walking right beside the Doctor as they made their way toward the direction that the scream came from. They walked into the mortuary, and Dr Sato looked at them, scared. " It's alive!"

"Spread out. Tell the perimeter it's a lockdown." but they don't make a move to listen to the command that was made.

Evie approached the scared woman. "Are you alright?"

Toshiko nodded at he.r "My god. It's still alive."

Once the Doctor finally got the soldiers to do as he said, he walked over to Evie and Toshiko, " I swear it was dead."

The Doctor nodded at her. "Coma, shock, hibernation, anything. What does it look like?"

They heard a clattering in the room. Evie looked at the "It's still here, Doctor." The Doctor motioned for one of the soldiers to come into the room, and then they saw it behind a filing cabinet. Evie looked at the time lord. "is that a pig? Just a normal pig?"

He nodded at her and turned to it. "Hello." The pig runs out on its hind legs. It is wearing a spacesuit. "Don't shoot!" But they don't listen, and a soldier shoots the pig, making Evie roll her eyes as the doctor looks at the soldier who shot the pig. "What did you do that for? It was scared! It was scared."

Evie had her 'thinking' face on, "So they just took a normal pig from here and wired it up to make it seem like an alien? That is so horrible to do that to that poor animal."

Toshiko looked at the two. "I just assumed that's what aliens look like, but you're saying it's an ordinary pig from Earth."

"More like a mermaid. Victorian showmen used to draw the crowds by taking the skull of a cat, gluing it to a fish, and calling it a mermaid. Now someone's taken a pig, opened up its brain, stuck bits on, then they've strapped it in that ship and made it dive bomb. It must've been terrified. They've taken this animal and turned it into a joke."

The redhead bit her lip. "That's just awful, that poor animal." After that Evie and the Doctor headed back to the tardis, once they were back inside Evie looked at him "so the aliens faked the crash, and then they turned an ordinary pig into a fake alien... why?"

He gave her a look, "That is what we are going to figure out, Evie."

The Doctor landed the Tardis back outside the Powell Estate, Rose ran in with Mickey and Jackie following behind her the Doctor paid the other two no mind as he looked at his blonde companion "All right, so I lied. I went and had a look. But the whole crash landing's a fake. I thought so. Just too perfect. I mean, hitting Big Ben. Come on, so I thought, let's go and have a look."

"My mum's here." Rose told him.

The Doctor looked at her. and said, "Oh, that's just what I need. Don't you dare make this place domestic."

Jackie stood there staring wide-eyed, looking around. Her eyes landed on her eldest daughter. Who had a semi-amused look on her face. "Well, that certainly is one way to let the cat out of the bag... sorry, Mum." Evie had an apologetic look on her face aimed at her mother.

The three humans look at her confused especially Rose, who had no idea that Evie knew anything about Aliens and stuff before the whole crash landing thing earlier.

Mickey gave the elder Tyler a look. "Evie? What?" then he looked at the time lord. "You ruined my life, Doctor. They thought she was dead. I was a murder suspect because of you."

"You see what I mean? Domestic." The Doctor gave Rose a pointed look.

Evie snorted, she was rather amused by the whole situation happening right now.

"I bet you don't even remember my name."

"Ricky." was what the Doctor said.

"It's Mickey."

"No, it's Ricky."

Mickey gave the alien a look "I think I know my own name."

"You think you know your own name? How stupid are you?"

Evie gave her sister's boyfriend a look. "Well, you walked right into that one, Mickey." then Jackie ran out of the Tardis.

"Mum, don't! Don't go anywhere. Don't start a fight!" then Rose ran out after her mum, Evie would have gone to but she knew her sister could handle it so she kept her seat on the jump seat, as they waited for the blonde to come back.

Rose came back in a few minutes later "That was a real spaceship."

"Yep." Both Evie and the Doctor said at the same time.

"So it's all a pack of lies? What is it, then? Are they invading?" her attention stayed on the time lord.

Mickey looked at them. "Funny way to invade, putting the world on red alert."

The redheaded Tyler looked at Mickey. "That is a very good point, Mickey," then she looked at the time lord. "So the question is, what're they up to?"

Evie is sitting watching as the Doctor messed with some wires she wasn't sure what he was doing but her thought was that he was trying to patch into the signal, Mickey was watching him as well "So, what're you doing down there?"

Rose was glaring at her sister, thinking, 'That should be me down there with the Doctor, not Evie.'

The Doctor looked at Mickey "Rickey."

"Mickey." he corrected, but it was ignored.

"Ricky. If I was to tell you what I was doing to the controls of my frankly magnificent timeship, would you even begin to understand?"

"I suppose not." The human male answered.

"Then shut up."

Evie tuned Rose and Mickey out. "So what are you doing?"

He looked at Evie, "trying to patch into the radar."

Evie grinned at him. "That's what I thought just wanted to confirm it."

A few minutes later, he got it. " Got it! Ha, ha! Patched in the radar, looped it back twelve hours so we can follow the flight of that spaceship. Here we go. Hold on. Come on." Evie, who was right beside him, was looking at the trajectory on the monitor as well.

She looked at the Doctor. "That looks like it came from Earth to start with."

He nodded at her, then explained it to the other two. "That's the spaceship on its way to Earth, see? Except. Hold on. See? The spaceship did a slingshot round the Earth before it landed."

Rose looked at him. "What does that mean?"

"Like Evie said it came from Earth in the first place. It went up and came back down. Whoever those aliens are, they haven't just arrived; they've been here for a while. The question is, what have they been doing?"

Mickey and Rose are channel-hopping on the scanner. "How many channels do you get?"

"All the basic packages."

"You get sports channels?"

"Yes, I get the football. Hold on, I know that lot."

"It is looking likely that the Government's bringing in alien specialists - those people who have devoted their lives to studying outer space."

"UNIT. United Nations Intelligence Taskforce. Good people."

The blonde looked at him. "How do you know them?"

Evie gave her sister a look; "it's rather obvious Rosie-"

Mickey cut her off, making the redhead roll her eyes. "'Cos, he's worked for them. Oh yeah, don't think I sat on my backside for twelve months, Doctor. I read up on you. You look deep enough on the Internet or in the history books, and there's his name, followed by a list of the dead."

"That's nice. Good boy, Ricky."

"If you know them, why don't you go and help?"

"They wouldn't recognize me. I've changed a lot since the old days. Besides, the world's on a knife-edge. There's aliens out there and fake aliens. We want to keep this alien out of the mix. I'm going undercover. And, er, I'd better keep the Tardis out of sight. Ricky, you've got a car. You can do some driving."

"Where to?" the man questioned.

"The roads are clearing. Let's go and have a look at that spaceship." They walk out of the Tardis and straight into a helicopter spotlight.

"Do not move! Step away from the box and raise your hands above your heads." Evie rolled her eyes. She had wanted to see the spaceship. " Police cars and Saxon armored personnel carriers surround them. Mickey runs. Jackie comes out of the block of flats.

"Rose! Evie!" Soldiers grabbed Jackie, but she called out to her daughters again, "Evie! Rose!"

Evie heard her mum and looked at her. "It will be okay, mum, I promise." Mickey hides behind some dustbins, and the soldiers run straight past.

"Raise your hands above your head. You are under arrest."

They did as requested, and the Doctor said, "Take me to your leader." Making Evie snort after hearing some of the stories from River, it did not surprise her at all that he would say that while they were being arrested.

The trio was in the police car now. "This is a bit posh. If I knew it was going to be like this, being arrested, I would have done it years ago."

The Doctor looked at the blonde. " We're not being arrested, we're being escorted."

Evie grinned at that. "Sweet, I've always wanted to see inside of 10 Downing Street."

Rose's eyes widened, hearing her sister say they were going to 10 Downing Street. "Oh my god... no way we're going to 10 Downing Street? Why?"

The Doctor looked at his blonde companion. "I hate to say it, but Mickey was right. Over the years, I've visited this planet a lot of times, and I've been, er, noticed."

"Now they need you?"

"Like it said on the news. They're gathering experts in alien knowledge. And who's the biggest expert of the lot?"

Evie gave him a teasing look. "Patrick Moore?"

"Apart from him."

"Oh, don't you just love it?"

"I'm telling you. Lloyd George used to drink me under the table. Who's the Prime Minister now?"

Rose shrugged at him. "How should I know? I missed a year."

Evie looked at the two, answering the question the Doctor had asked, "Tony Blair."

Rose looked at her. "What?"

Evie rolled her eyes "he asked who the current Prime Minister was; Tony Blair is the Prime Minister."

They had arrived at their destination, and The Doctor mugs for the cameras outside Number Ten. Evie kept her head down. She didn't really want her face plastered all over the place, so she kept her head down. Rose looked around in awe. "Oh my god."

They get inside the building, and they hear a voice: " Ladies and gentlemen, can we convene? Quick as we can, please. It's this way on the right, and can I remind you that ID cards are to be worn at all times." He hands one to the Doctor. "Here's your ID card. I'm sorry, your companions don't have clearance."

The Doctor looked at the man. " I don't go anywhere without them."

But the secretary wasn't giving in. "You're the code nine, not them. I'm sorry, Doctor. It is the Doctor, isn't it? They'll have to stay outside."

"They're staying with me."

Indra gave him a loo.k: " Look, even I don't have clearance to go in there. I can't let them in, and that's a fact."

Evie subconsciously laid a hand on his arm, making him look at her. "It's okay, Rose, and I will be fine out here."

Harriet approaches them, looking at the time lord. " Excuse me. Are you the Doctor?"

"Sure."

Indra looked at the woman. "Not now. We're busy. Can't you go home?"

Harriet is still talking to the Doctor. "I just need a word in private."

He looked at the Tyler sisters. "I suppose so. Don't get in any trouble." then he walked into the room.

Indra looked at Harriet, "You haven't got clearance. Now leave it." then turned to Rose and Evie, "I'm going to have to leave you two with security."

Harriet looked at Indra and then the two girls. "It's all right. I'll look after them. Let me be of some use. Walk with me. Just keep walking." So, the Tyler sisters followed her. As they are walking, Harriet glances at the two. "That's right. Don't look round. Harriet Jones, MP Flydale North."

The redhead smiled at her. "I'm Evie, and this is Rose."

Harriet nodded at her in acknowledgment before she kept talking. "This friend of yours, he's an expert, is that right? He knows about aliens?"

Rose looked at her suspiciously. "Why do you want to know?"

Harriet burst into tears making Evie hug the woman to try and comfort her.

The trio is now in the cabinet room. "They turned the body into a suit. A disguise for the thing inside!"

The blonde Tyler looked at the woman. "It's all right. I believe you. It's, it's alien. They must have some serious technology behind this. If we could find it, we could use it." Evie gave the woman's shoulder a comforting squeeze before she started helping her sister search the room because that was a smart idea.

Evie opens a different cupboard, and a man's body falls out. Rose looks wide-eyed. "Oh, my God! Is that the-"

"Prime Minister's dead body?" Evie finished her sister's question, "Yes, it is."

Then Indra walked in and gave Harriet a look. "Harriet, for God's sake. This has gone beyond a joke. You cannot just wander." then he saw the body. "Oh, my God. That's the Prime Minister!"

Evie nodded at him. "Yeah, someone stuffed him in," she pointed to the cupboard that she opened. "That cupboard, all I did was open it."

Margaret the Slitheen walked into the room. " Oh! Has someone been naughty?"

Indra looked between the body and Margaret. "That's impossible. He left this afternoon. The Prime Minister left Downing Street. He was driven away!"
