World War Three

Evie watched as the Slitheen's arm came out of the skinsuit and grabbed the secretary that had walked in a few moments ago and snapped his neck like it was nothing; Evie's eyes were wide, then suddenly the alien froze for a moment, and that was when the trio made their escape from the room.

Harriet looked at the Tyler sisters. "No, wait. They're still in there. The emergency protocols. We need them." The Slitheen chases them through a series of rooms, smashing through the oak doors.

Evie glanced at the woman as they ran "You can't read them and run so we can get them later." as the trio ran from the Slitheen, the lift doors opened with the Doctor inside. "Hello." he said, distracting it so that Evie, Rose, and Harriet could get away.

The trio ran into the sitting room with a large settee, a large drinks cabinet, and a folding screen by the window to keep out the draughts. "Hide!" Rose hides behind the cabinet, Harriet behind the screen. While Evie dropped down behind the settee to hide.

The Slitheen Margaret enters, "Oh, such fun. Little human children, where are you? Sweet little humeykins, come to me. Let me kiss you better. Kiss you with my big, green lips." Rose makes it from the cabinet to behind a curtain.

Evie held her breath slightly, wracking her brain, trying to think of a way that would get them out of the situation, but she was coming up with nothing. She had drowned out the world around her for a few minutes until a scream brought her back to reality and then Harrit's voice "No! Take me first! Take me!"

That was when Evie popped out of her hiding spot, getting her first good look at the aliens before The Doctor burst in with a fire extinguisher. He sprays the male Slitheen with CO2. " Out, with me!" Rose takes the distraction to pull the curtain down over Margaret.

The Doctor looks at Harriet " Who the hell are you?"

"Harriet Jones, MP for Flydale North."

He nodded at her. "Nice to meet you."

"Likewise," The Doctor uses up the CO2, and they run out.

The Doctor looked at them as they ran. "We need to head to the Cabinet Room."

"The Emergency Protocols are in there. They give instructions for aliens."

"Harriet Jones, I like you."

"And I like you too."

The Slitheen chase our heroes through corridors and rooms. They ran into the Cabinet room, and The Doctor grabbed a decanter from a side table and stood in the doorway. "One more move and my sonic device will triplicate the flammability of this alcohol. Whoof, we all go up. So back off." The Slitheen take one step back in the outer office. " Right then. Question time. Who exactly are the Slitheen?"

"They're Aliens," Harriet answered him.

"Yes. I got that, thanks." Evie snorted at his answer back to the older woman.

One of the Slitheen looked at the Doctor "Who are you, if not human?"

Harriet looked at Rose, who was beside her, while Evie stood closer to the door behind the Doctor. "Who's not human?"

"He's not human," Rose answered.

"He's not human?" Harriet repeated.

"Can I have a bit of hush?" the Doctor shushed the two.

"Sorry," Harriet said.

The Doctor turned his attention back to the Slitheen. "So, what's the plan?"

Harriet talks quietly to Ros,e "But he's got a Northern accent."

Rose gives her the same answer that he gave her when she asked him about his accent: "Lots of planets have a north."

"I said hush. Come on. You've got a spaceship hidden in the North Sea. It's transmitting a signal. You've murdered your way to the top of government. What for, invasion?"

"Why would we invade this God-forsaken rock?"

"Then something's brought the Slitheen race here. What is it?"

Hearing the name, something clicked in Evie's head. "Slitheen?" she muttered to herself.

"The Slitheen race?"

All three of them laughed. "Slitheen is not our species. Slitheen is our surname. Jocrassa Fel Fotch Pasameer-Day-Slitheen at your service."

Evie bit her lip as the Doctor was talking to them. "So, you're family."

"A family business."

She was still whispering the name to herself, trying to figure out why it sounded so familiar. The Doctor side glanced at her, hearing her say the name repeatedly before he looked back to the Slitheen fully. "Then you're out to make a profit. How can you do that on a God-forsaken rock?"

"Ah, excuse me? Your device will do what? Triplicate the flammability?" One of the Slitheen questioned.

He looked from them to the decanter and back. "Is that what I said?"

"You're making it up."

"Ah, well! Nice try. Harriet, have a drink. I think you're gonna need it."

Harriet is clutching the Red Box. "You pass it to the left first."

"Sorry." then he passed it to Evie who was on his left.

She nodded at him "Thanks." And then pour some into a glass and she drank it.

"Now we can end this hunt with a slaughter."

Rose gave the Doctor a look. "Don't you think we should run?"

But he shook his head at her "Fascinating history, Downing Street. Two thousand years ago, this was marshland. 1730, it was occupied by a Mister Chicken. He was a nice man. 1796, this was the Cabinet Room. If the Cabinet is in session and in danger, these are about the four safest walls in the whole of Great Britain. End of lesson." The Doctor lifts a small panel by the door and presses a button. Metal shutters crash across the windows and doors. "Installed in 1991. Three inches of steel lining every single wall. They'll never get in."

The blonde Tyler gave him another look "And how do we get out?"

"Ah." was all he said.

Evie looked at him. "He didn't think about that, did you?"

He shook his head at her. "Why were you whispering Slitheen to yourself earlier?"

"I've heard that name before, but I can't place where, so I was trying to think, and sometimes I think better when I talk out loud... So I was saying the name to see if it would jog something in my mind, but I've got nothing yet."

The Doctor drags Ganesh's body into a small storeroom, where the late Anthony Blair is also laid out. "What was his name?"

The future Prime Minister looked at him. "Who?"

He nodded to the secretary "This one. The secretary or whatever he was called."

"I don't know. I talked to him. I brought him a cup of coffee. I never asked his name."

"Sorry. Right, what have we got? Any terminals, anything?"

Evie shook her head. "Nope."

The blonde Tyler looked at him "This place is antique. What I don't get is, when they killed the Prime Minister, why didn't they use him as a disguise?"

Evie piped up from her seat at the table with her knees pulled up, still trying to figure out where she heard the name Slitheen before. "My guess is that he's too slim, so they couldn't fit inside the skinsuit."

The Doctor nodded at the redhead. "She's right. He's too slim. They're big old beasts. They need to fit inside big humans."

Rose ignored where her sister had spoken and kept her attention on the time lord "But the Slitheen are about eight feet. How do they fit inside?"

"That's the device around their necks. Compression field. Literally shrinks them down a bit. That's why there's all that gas. It's a big exchange."

"Wish I had a compression field. I could fit a size smaller."

Harriet gave the blonde a look "Excuse me, people are dead! This is not the time for making jokes."

Rose looked at her sheepishly "Sorry. You get used to this stuff when you're friends with him."

"Well, that's a strange friendship."

The Doctor looked at Harriet "Harriet Jones. I've heard that name before. Harriet Jones. You're not famous for anything, are you?"

She shook her head "Oh, hardly."

"Rings a bell. Harriet Jones?" He looked at Evie.

She shrugged. "Now that one, I don't know."

"Lifelong backbencher I'm afraid, and a fat lot of use I'm being now. The Protocols are redundant. They list the people who could help, and they're all dead downstairs."

"Hasn't it got, like, defense codes and things? Couldn't we just launch a nuclear bomb at them?"

"You're a very violent young woman."

The blonde shrugged "I'm serious. We could."

Evie shook her head at her sister. "Actually, we couldn't. You need a resolution from the UN for that."

Harriet nodded at the redhead. "Evie is right; there's nothing like that in here. Nuclear strikes do need a release code, yes, but it's kept secret by the United Nations."

The Doctor looked at the future Prime Minister "Say that again."

Harriet looked at him, "What about the codes?"

"Anything. All of it."

Harriet nodded at him "Well, the British Isles can't gain access to atomic weapons without a Special Resolution from the UN."

Rose scoffed "Like that's ever stopped them."

"Exactly, given our past record. And I voted against that, thank you very much. The codes have been taken out of the government's hands and given to the UN. Is it important?"

"Everything's important." The Doctor told her.

Harriet looked at them "If we only knew what the Slitheen wanted. Listen to me. I'm saying Slitheen as if it's normal."

"What do they want, though?"

"Well, they're just one family, so it's not an invasion. They don't want Slitheen World They're out to make money. That means they want to use something. Something here on Earth. Some kind of asset."

"Like what, gold? Oil? Water?" Harriet suggested.

The Time Lord looked at her, "You're very good at this."

Harriet smiled at him "Thank you."

"Harriet Jones. Why do I know that name?"

Evie snorted at his question, "That is exactly where I'm at right now, but with Slitheen, why do I know it, and where did I learn it."

Rose's phone beeped "Oh, that's me."

Harriet gave the blonde a look "But we're sealed off. How did you get a signal?"

Rose nodded to the Doctor "he zapped it. Superphone."

"Then we can phone for help. You must have contacts." she directed that last part at the Doctor who just gave her a look.

"Dead downstairs, yeah."

"It's Mickey," Rose told them.

"Oh, tell your stupid boyfriend we're busy."

Rose checked the message "Yeah, he's not so stupid after all." Mickey has sent them a photo of a Slitheen.

Evie tilted her head to the side slightly, thinking about what Rose had just said. "How does that prove he's not stupid? we knew what they looked like already."

The Doctor gave her an amused look while Rose rolled her eyes as she dialed Mickey's number. He answered, and they were talking about what happened. "No, no, no, no, no. Not just alien, but like, proper alien. All stinking, wet, and disgusting. And more to the point, it wanted to kill us!"

"Is she all right, though? Don't put her on, just tell me." Rose asked her boyfriend.

The Doctor takes Rose's phone. " Is that Ricky? Don't talk, just shut up and go to your computer."

"It's Mickey, and why should I?"

"Mickey the Idiot, I might just choke..." he trailed off before finishing the sentence "Before I finish this sentence, but, er, I need you."

Evie gave the time lord a teasing look "I'll bet that was painful for you to say."

Mickey is hacking into the UNIT website. "It says password."

The Doctor plugs the mobile phone into the conference phone speaker. "Say again."

" It's asking for the password."

"Buffalo. Two Fs, one L."

Jackie is standing behind Mickey, watching. "So, what's that website?"

"All the secret information known to mankind. See, they've known about aliens for years. They just kept us in the dark."

"Mickey, you were born in the dark." that made Evie snort out a laugh, she had nothing against the boy, they just weren't close and she found the Doctor's teasing of the boy funny.

Rose gave the time lord a look "Oh, leave him alone."

"Thank you. Password again."

"Just repeat it every time." Mickey puts the phone on speaker and hands it to Jackie.

The Doctor looks at the three in the room with him "Big Ben - why did the Slitheen go and hit Big Ben?"

Harriett answers him "You said to gather the experts, to kill them."

He shook his head "That lot would've gathered for a weather balloon. You don't need to crash land in the middle of London."

Rose comes into the conversation "The Slitheen are hiding, but then they put the entire planet on Red alert."

Evie nodded, agreeing with what her sister had said. "True, so what would they do that for?"

"Oh listen to them." was what they heard from their mum.

"At least we're trying."

"Well, I've got a question, if you don't mind. Since that man walked into our lives, I have been attacked In the streets. I have had creatures from the pits of hell In my own living room, and one of my daughters disappears off the face of the Earth."

"I told you what happened." Rose defended.

But Jackie wasn't finished " I'm talking to him. 'Cos I've seen this life of yours, Doctor. And maybe you get off on it, and maybe you think it's all clever and smart, but you tell me. Just answer me this. Are my daughters safe?"

"Mum, we're fine." The redhead answered for her and her sister.

But the older Tyler paid no mind to what her eldest daughter had said "are they safe? Will they always be safe? Can you promise me that?" he just looked at two of them but didn't say anything "Well, what's the answer?"

Mickey interrupts, "We're in."

"Now then, on the left at the top, there's a tab, an icon. Little concentric circles. Click on that."

The screen changes from a map of the world to an oscilloscope reading with sound. " What is it?"

"The Slitheen have got a spaceship in the North Sea, and it's transmitting that signal. Now hush, let me work out what it's saying."

"He'll have to answer me one day." Mickey just shushed her.

Evie had leaned closer to the phone a little to hear the message as well. "It sounds like some kind of message..." the attention turned to her. "But I don't know what it's saying. It's on a loop.' though."

Mickey's doorbell rang, and the Doctor shushed him. "That's not me. Go and see who that is."

Jackie looked at her youngest daughter's boyfriend " It's three o'clock in the morning."

"Well, go and tell them that." Jackie agreed to get the door.

"It's beaming out into space, who's it for?"

Evie bit her lip again. She did that quite a lot when she was thinking, "Maybe an advert or something? I mean, why else would it be beaming out into space like that."

He nodded at her a little impressed "you could be onto something Evie."

They can hear Jackie yell, "It's him! It's the thing, it's the Slipeen!"

"They've found us."

"I need that signal, Mickey."

Rose glared at him. "Never mind the signal, get out! Mum,"

"Mum, listen to me you guys have got to get out of there."

"We can't. It's by the front door." was what Mickey told them, making Evie bite her lip again, this time in worry for her mother and sister's boyfriend... "Oh, my God, it's unmasking. It's going to kill us."

Evie started wracking her brain again trying to think, she heard them listing things off to try and figure out where the Slitheen are from, she listened to them while trying to think of a way to help get her mother and themselves out of this alive.

She had zoned out slightly, and when the Doctor yelled out the planet name "Raxacoricofallapatorius!" it clicked in her head finally where she had heard the name Slitheen before River had given her a slight warning, nothing that would give anything away.

"Vinegar! Mum, you need to find something with vinegar in it."

The three in the room looked at her, but Harriet was the one who spoke, "Just like Hannibal!"

The Doctor looked at the redheaded Tyler in surprise. "Evie's right, Vinegar, Just like Hannibal! Mickey, have you got any vinegar?"

"How should I know?"

Evie rolled her eyes at the boy. "How do you not know what's in your own kitchen, Mickey?"

Rose answered, "Cupboard by the sink, middle shelf."

Jackie took the phone "Oh, give it here. What do you need?"

"Anything with vinegar, Mum." was the answer that Evie gave the older Tyler.

Jackie grabs a large jug and starts pouring stuff in "Gherkins. Yeah, pickled onions. Pickled eggs."

Evie scrunched her nose up as The Doctor looked at Rose "And you kiss this man?"

The Slitheen breaks in. Jackie throws the vile contents of the jug over it. It stops farts, then explodes, redecorating the kitchen in green innards.

Rose looked at Harriet and the Doctor. "Hannibal?"

"Hannibal crossed the Alps by dissolving boulders with vinegar." the older woman answered her.

"Oh. Well, there you go then." They all toast the moment with a glass of port from the decanter.

It was a little while later. The Doctor sat down beside the elder Tyler sister. "How did you know the vinegar thing earlier?"

She looked at him and smiled. "I remembered where I had heard the name, my friend had told me once. she said, "Eve, I want you to remember this. It'll be important one day," she looked at me for a minute and then continued and said, "It's a good word association, Slitheen and Vinegar. You will need that information one day." I had forgotten about it until I heard the name. Something clicked in my head, but I couldn't quite place it until you said the planet because I had done some research after she said that, just in case, and Raxacoricofallapatorius that is one word that you can't easily forget."

He laughed slightly at what she had said: "That is true."

Rose was watching the two with a slight sneer on her face. She did not like how close Evie had gotten to her Doctor in the short amount of time since they met. The blonde had hoped that he wouldn't invite her to travel with them after this because it was just supposed to be the two of them; she didn't want anyone else with them. Especially not her older sister.

Mickey had the TV on. "The experts are dead, murdered right in front of me by alien hands. Peoples of the Earth, heed my words. These visitors do not come in peace."

"Listen to this." He holds the phone in front of the television.

"Our inspectors have searched the sky above our heads. And they have found massive weapons of destruction, capable of being deployed within forty-five seconds."

"What?"

"Our technicians can baffle the alien probes, but not for long. We are facing extinction unless we strike first. The United Kingdom stands directly beneath the belly of the mother ship. I beg of the United Nations, pass an emergency resolution. Give us the access codes. A nuclear strike at the heart of the beast is our only chance of survival because from this moment on it is my solemn duty to inform you planet Earth is at war."

"He's making it up. There are no weapons up there; there's no threat. He just invented it."

Harriet gave the Time Lord a look. "Do you think they'll believe him?"

"They did last time."

"That's why the Slitheen went for spectacle. They want the whole world panicking because you lot, you get scared, you lash out."

"They release the defense code." Evie and Rose said at the same time.

"And the Slitheen go nuclear."

"But why?"

Evie shrugged at the woman. "Good question, we could always just ask them..." The Doctor nodded at her before he opened the metal shutters.

"You get the codes, release the missiles, but not into space because there's nothing there. You attack every other country on Earth. They retaliate and fight back. World War Three. The whole planet gets nuked."

"And we can sit through it safely in our spaceship waiting in the Thames. Not crashed, just parked. Only two minutes away."

Harriett looked at them, "But you'll destroy the planet, this beautiful place. What for?"

"Profit." The Doctor told her.

Evie looked at him. "So I was right, it is an advert?"

He nodded at her. "That's what the signal is beaming into space. An advert, like Evie said earlier."

"The sale of the century. We reduce the Earth to molten slag, then sell it piece by piece. Radioactive chucks, capable of powering every cut-price starliner and budget cargo ship. There's a recession out there, Doctor. People are buying cheap. This rock becomes raw fuel."

"At the cost of five billion lives."

Margaret shrugged, unbothered "Bargain."

The Doctor gave her a look. "I give you a choice. Leave this plane,t or I'll stop you."

She gave him a look. "What, you? Trapped in your box?"

"Yes. Me." The Doctor closes the shutters on Margaret's laughing face, and she starts to worry.

The Time Lord gave the other three in the room with him a look. "You three should get some rest; you're going to need it."

Rose and Harriet fell asleep rather quickly, but Evie was still awake; he looked at her, "You really should get some sleep."

She just smiled at him. "I'm not really that tired, plus I don't sleep much; It's not that I can't sleep, it's just that I don't really need to; I don't know. I've just always been like that never needed to sleep a lot... I can run on one night's sleep for a couple of days I try not to make a habit of it but I can if I need to."

The more he learned about the redheaded Tyler the more she intrigued him and the more he wanted to figure her out.

A few hours later, Rose woke up, and immediately, she was annoyed with how her sister was sitting by the Doctor. The blonde really did not like how the time lord and her sister got along so easily.

Rose had called Mickey back when she knew he was awake since they had hung up so they all could get some rest, Jackie speaks addressing the Doctor " All right, Doctor. I'm not saying I trust you, but there must be something you can do."

Evie has always been clever, and she had figured out that there was only one way they would get out of there, but she also knew that her mum wouldn't like it because it put her and Rose in danger.

Harriet looks at the Doctor " If we could ferment the port, we could make acetic acid."

Evie smiled at the older woman. "There isn't enough alcohol or time to take them all on." Harriet nodded at her in acknowledgment.

"Mickey, any luck?" the blonde came in, questioning her boyfriend.

"There's loads of emergency numbers. They're all on voicemail."

Harriet sighed, giving them all a look. "Voicemail dooms us all."

Rose gives the Time Lord a look. "If we could just get out of here."

Evie decided that was a good time to announce that she knew this as well: "There is a way out."

All the attention turned to her, and Rose rolled her eyes at her sister. "What? and you never thought to mention that?"

The Doctor nodded at the redhead taking over the conversation. "There's always been a way out."

"Then why don't we use it?"

The Time Lord speaks to Jackie as he says his next sentence, "Because I can't guarantee your daughters will be safe."

Hearing that, Jackie protested immediately, "Don't you dare. Whatever it is, don't you dare."

He sighed, and Evie nodded at him. "But Mum, that's the thing. If he doesn't do this, then everyone dies." He gave her a slight smile, which was caught by the blonde, who bit her tongue to keep from scoffing at the sight.

"Like she said, If I don't dare, everyone dies."

Rose gave him a look. "Do it."

He gave his blonde companion a surprised look. "You don't even know what it is. You'd just let me?"

Rose nodded at him. "Yeah."

He gave the redhead look, wanting to hear her thoughts, and she gave him a smile. Evie knew that he was the only one who would understand what she was about to say, but she didn't really care. "She trusts you, which means that you are a good person because she doesn't trust easily, and I trust her and her judgment, which means that I trust you as well."

The Time Lord nodded at her; he now knew that she not only knew what they had to do but would also let him do it, knowing how dangerous this would be.

Jackie is pleading with him, "Doctor. Please. They're my daughters, my girls, they're just kids." Evie was tempted to comment on how she was 22, which wasn't considered a kid, but she knew that it wasn't the time, so she held her tongue and didn't say it.

"Do you think I don't know that? Because this is my life, Jackie. It's not fun, it's not smart, just standing up and making a decision because nobody else will."

Rose looked at him, "Then what're you waiting for?"

The Doctor looked at her. " I could save the world but lose you." Rose looked a little pleased with what he said until he looked at her sister as well. "Both of you." That made a scowl slip onto the blonde face that she quickly schooled before anyone saw it.

Harriet finally had enough and took a stand." Except it's not your decision, Doctor. It's mine."

"who the hell are you?" came the voice of Jackie Tyler.

"Harriet Jones, MP for Flydale North. The only elected representative in this room, chosen by the people for the people. And on behalf of the people, I command you. Do it."

Rose looked at the alien with them. "How do we get out?"

The Doctor looked at her. " We don't. We stay here." The Doctor gets the Emergency Protocols from the Red Box. "Use the buffalo password. It overrides everything." The Doctor instructs Mickey, who is hacking the Royal Navy.

Jackie looked at the computer screen. " What're you doing?"

"Hacking into the Royal Navy. We're in. Here it is. HMS Taurean, Trafalgar Class submarine, ten miles off the coast of Plymouth."

"Right, we need to select a missile."

"We can't go nuclear. We don't have the defense codes."

Evie inserted herself into the conversation here: "We don't need them; all we need is a normal missile."

The Doctor gave her a look. "Will you stop that? You're practically taking the words right out of my mouth."

She shrugged. "Be quicker with your answers then."

"What's the first category?" The Doctor questioned moving on since they had more important things to deal with at the moment.

"Sub Harpoon, UGM-A4A."

"That's the one. Select."

Jackie gave her youngest daughter's boyfriend a look "I could stop you."

"then do it." but she made no move to actually stop him.

"You ready for this?"

"Yeah," was the answer Mickey gave.

"Micke,y the idiot, the world is in your hands and fire."

Mickey clicks the button there is a big Whoosh as the missile launches from below the sea and heads for its target. "Oh, my God."

Harriet looked at the Time Lord. "How solid are these?"

"Not solid enough. Built for a short-range attack, nothing this big."

That was when Rose took charge. " All right, now I'm making the decision. I'm not going to die. We're going to ride this one out. It's like what they say about earthquakes. You can survive them by standing under a doorframe. Now, this cupboard's small, so it's strong. Come and help me. Come on." Harriet and Evie both help the blonde. The missile heads up the channel as they do this.

"It's on the radar," Mickey informed them.

Rose, Evie, and Harriet are emptying the cupboard.

"Counter defense five five-six."

"Stop them intercepting it."

"Doing it now."

"Good boy."

A few minutes later, Mickey spoke again, "Five-five-six neutralized."

The Doctor unplugs the phone as the missile heads inland over Seven Sisters. The quartet was in the cupboard now waiting for the missile to hit, Harriet looks at them "Here we go. Nice knowing you three. Hannibal!"

Evie smiled at the woman. "You too, Harriet Jones."

KaBOOM! The iconic front door blows off in a fireball. The cupboard shakes and then rolls through the remains of the building inside its steel shell. Once they come to a stop, the Doctor pushes the steel door off, and Harriet steps out. Harriet laid a hand on the cupboard " Made in Britain."

"Oh, my God. Are you all right?"

Harriet nodded at the man. "Harriet Jones. MP, Flydale North. I want you to contact the UN immediately. Tell the ambassadors the crisis is over. They can step down. Go on, tell the news."

He nodded at her. "Yes, ma'am."

"Someone's got a hell of a job sorting this lot out. Oh, Lord. We haven't even got a Prime Minister."

The Doctor gave the woman a look. "Maybe you should have a go."

Harriet shook her head. "Me? Huh. I'm only a back-bencher."

Evie laid a hand on her shoulder. "Well, I'd vote for you for sure."

"I'd vote for you too." Came Rose's answer.

Harriet looked between the Tyler sisters. "Now, don't be silly. Look, I'd better go and see if I can help. Hang on!" Harriet makes her way down the pile of rubble. "We're safe! The Earth is safe!"

The Doctor looked at the two as Harriet walked away from them. "I thought I knew the name. Harriet Jones, future Prime Minister. Elected for three successive terms. The architect of Britain's Golden Age."

They could hear Harriet talking as they made their way back towards the Estate where the Tardis were waiting.

Rose was inside talking to their mum while Evie was talking to the Doctor, the Time Lord gave her a look "do you want to come with us?"

The redhead gave him a look. "Like travel with you and my sister?"

The Time Lord nodded at her. "Yeah."

Evie grinned at him. "Hell yeah, like I'm gonna pass that offer up."

He laughed. "Well then, I'd go and get whatever you don't want to leave here 'cause we're leaving soon."

Evie fake saluted him, "You got it, captain." then she headed up to the flat to grab her bags; she always kept at least two duffle bags packed so she'd have them for expeditions. She grabbed them and headed out. She had heard Rose and Jackie walk out a few minutes earlier.

Rose had already walked into the Tardis, and Jackie looked at her eldest daughter. "You too?"

Evie hugged the woman. "Yeah, mum, this was always supposed to happen... I'll talk to you soon, okay?" they pulled back, and Jackie nodded at the redhead.

The Tardis' lights brightened as soon as Evie stepped into her, and Rose noticed that, so she looked around and her eyes landed on Evie walking towards the console with her two duffle bags, and the blonde internally seethed; the Tardis had never reacted to her like that. 'what is so special about my sister?' was the thought running through the blonde's head.

***
Welp here is World War Three :D I hope you guys enjoy the chapter. Ooh, wonder why the Tardis brightens up a little when Evie is aboard? I know, but you guys will just have to wait and see XD. Also, the next chapter will be a little interlude before we get into Dalek.
