Bonding With The Companion
It had been a few hours since the whole ordeal had happened, and Rea was sitting in a comfy chair in the Tardis library in front of the fireplace with a little fire going. A cup of tea was on the table beside her, and a book was on her lap, it was a cozy environment.
The Time Lady felt the blonde human's presence as soon as Rose walked toward where the Time Lady was sitting. The Creator sat her book down on the table next to her nearly empty teacup. "You don't have to lurk, Rosie, what's on your mind?"
The blonde was surprised she had barely made it two feet from Rea, but she shook it off and made her way towards the empty chair opposite of the Time Lady. "I just wanted to say that I'm sorry, and you were right, Rea, it was a bad idea, and I should have listened to you... if I had, it would have saved a lot of trouble."
The Time Lady smiled at the human "it's okay Rosie you really didn't know any better, you made a split-second decision and there were consequences but we've dealt with it and learned from it, no need to dwell on it."
Rose smiled at the Time Lady. "You don't have to answer this, but I've just been curious about it since we got back, you know? So after the thing disappeared with you The Doctor called you Lia, where does it come from? Like I said you don't have to answer that I was just wondering."
The Creator looked at the human again a soft smile on her face "Well one he probably didn't even process that he said it out loud since he usually only calls me by that name if it's just us, which brings me to number two Lia is a nickname that he gave me because it's part of my true name and no I can't tell you what it is."
That piqued the human's curiosity a bit. "Why?"
"it's a sacred Time Lord tradition. There is only one person in the universe that a Time Lord and or Lady is ever allowed to tell their true, proper name to, and that is their spouse, their husband or wife."
Rose looked at her in surprise, but she grinned teasingly at the Time Lady. "So you and him...?"
Rea nodded at her "are married? Yes, Rosie, we are."
Rose nodded but furrowed her brows. "But how come he never mentioned being married?"
Rea gave her a small smile "Because up until the museum and everything, he most likely thought I was dead, that he was alone, and it just hurt too much to talk about, so he didn't talk about it, and I was the same I thought he was dead and that I was the only one that survived the war until you two showed up."
The blonde human nodded, understanding where she was coming from, "If you don't mind me asking, how did you end up in Van Statten's museum?"
"I was looking for The Doctor, we were supposed to meet up at a rendezvous point, and I was on my way there when I ran into the Dalek right as it activated its temporal shift teleport, which as I collided with it, transported me with it and that is how we both ended up in Van Statten's museum since they figured I was an alien since I appeared with the Dalek."
Rose nodded. "Okay, well then, why didn't he recognize you at first?"
Rea smiled at her "I looked different the last time he saw me, so it took a few minutes for him to realize who I was because of that."
Rose nodded at the Time Lady. She was still a little confused but didn't want to push her.
Rea noticed the look and chuckled. "It's complicated sometimes, but Time Lords have this process that we can do to save ourselves if we're close to death called regeneration, which means we change everything: new face, new personality, new everything; basically, we're the same person but not at the same time... so I had regenerated twice since the last time he saw me."
The human nodded again, understanding it better now that she was given a proper explanation. "okay, that makes sense."
They were interrupted before Rea could respond, "What are you two up to?"
Rea smiled at her husband. "Just some girl bonding, sweetie, just getting to know each other a little better."
He smiled at the two. "Alright, I'll leave you, girls, to it then; I'm just checking in." The Doctor was happy to see his wife and companion getting along; the last companion that she truly got along with was Sarah Jane. So the Time Lord walked out of the library, leaving the two girls to their bonding, and headed back towards the console room.
Rose grinned at the Time Lady, "Although now, knowing that you two are married, how I've noticed you both act around each other makes sense."
Rea chuckled, "We can be a bit much with the flirting... or so I've been told." She remembered her youngest son once telling her how embarrassing it was to watch his parents flirt like that and that they should tone it down... which, of course, they didn't tone it down at all.
"Rea?" Rose questioned, noticing the faraway look settled in the Time Lady's eyes.
The Creator shook her head, clearing her train of thought, "Sorry, Rosie, just that train of conversation made me remember something."
Rose nodded, sensing that Rea didn't want to talk about whatever it was, "it's fine, Rea, so what were you reading before I walked up?" changing the subject.
Rea appreciated Rose changing the subject and did not question what she remembered. She smiled at the blonde human and started telling her about the book that she had been reading.

How would you guys feel if I added another OC, who's Rea and the Doctor's kid, and maybe paired them with Rose? IS that something you guys would be interested in?
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter :D
