Lorelei slowly opened her eyes at the bright sunlight peaking through the window to find herself laying down in a hospital room. After Jennifer attacked her, Stiles thought it'd be best to send her to hospital a couple towns away where the woman couldn't find her.

Seeing someone sitting beside her out of the corner of her eyes, Lorelei turned her head and smiled at her dad, Conway, his head hung back and his mouth open.

Lorelei went to laugh at the sight of her father but a shooting pain against her neck made her let out a cry in pain instead.

Conway's eyes shot open at Lorelei's cry and he practically jumped out of his seat to be beside his daughter. He gently reached out and soothed the hair on top of her head. "Hey, sweetheart." He muttered quietly.

Lorelei opened her mouth to speak but Conway beat her to it. "Don't speak. Your neck is still healing."

She knew she was gonna have to explain everything to her dad. That she had been fighting a bunch of other supernatural creatures for the past year. Her lips pressed together to hold back a cry as she looked up to her dad.

Even though her dad told her not to talk, she wanted to tell him everything. Tell him about fighting Argent hunters, and a kanima, an alpha pack and now a Darach. Tell him that she's sorry she never got his help earlier. Tell him that she needed him. She needed her dad.

But it was almost like the man could read his daughters mind. He gave her a reassuring smile and gently rubbed her back. "It's okay, Lorelei. Isaac told me everything. The truth."

Lorelei felt a weight she didn't know was there lift off her shoulders. She leaned back against her bed and Conway moved with her, scooting his chair closer to her. "Lorelei, if I ever made you feel nervous to talk to me about the supernatural world or anything like that, I'm so sorry."

He looked into his daughter's eyes and shook his head. "I don't want you to ever feel like you can't come to me." He whispered. "It's just you and me, kid. I can't let anything happen to you."

Feeling her father gently run his hand across the top of her head, Loreleis eyes started to water and her shoulders started to shake.

Her throat burned as her wound stretched against her stitches but she somehow felt better. Ever since Stiles's dad and Scott's mom found out about the supernatural, all Lorelei wanted to do was tell her dad. It'd be incredible to have a trained warlock on their side.

But she was always too terrified to tell him, worried he would yell at her and tell her it was dangerous—which it was; she was in the hospital after all. She was scared he would tell her he wasn't a good enough witch and she would be useless helping her friends.

Lorelei's lip quivered as she looked up at her dad, her eyes watering and her body shaking. "Please help, Dad." She whimpered.

Conway nodded his head, still running his hand atop his daughter's head. "Don't worry. I'm staying and I'm here to help."

Lorelei took a deep breath, a small squeak coming out of her, but she felt her throat slowly stop burning. Lorelei nodded vigorously, leaning forward and pulling her dad into a hug. She was glad she didn't have to hide this side of her life from her dad anymore and she was glad he had him to help from now on.

...

Two days later, Lorelei's stitches were healed enough to where she was able to be discharged. And not even four hours later, she was walking into the Argent home with her dad, Stiles, Allison, and Mr. Argent.

While the pack were at the hospital, Jennifer got a hold of Melissa and now, she was gone just like the Sheriff and now, Allison was terrified her dad was next.

"The word is guardian, Allison. More than anyone, you know that's a role I haven't exactly lived up to lately." Chris said as he walked into his office, his daughter, her friends, and Conway following after him.

As he walked to his desk, Chris's eyes moved to Conway and he raised a hand, gesturing tot he man. "If you guys should be worried about any 'guardian', you should be worried about Mr. Addams, don't you think?" Chris asked and Conway rolled his eyes. Sure, he was new to helping the kids with the supernatural, but he's been a warlock all of his life. He'd be fine.

"I think I can take care of myself." Conway shot back in an unamused tone. He looked to his daughter, Allison, and Stiles, raising his eyebrows. "Since I'm finally in on the loop of what you kids have been doing, I'm here to help them. Get Melissa and Sheriff back..." His eyes moved to Chris and he nodded his head once. "And protect you."

Lorelei still struggled to speak, her throat still sore from her stitches but luckily, Allison had the same thought as her. "She took Scott's mother and Stiles's father. That's not a coincidence." Allison said and Lorelei immediately nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, I'd also consider the fact that someone put your name up in large block letters on the elevator doors. That kind of felt like a warning to me." Stiles sarcastically added, his words coming out like an angry grumble.

"Morrell." Lorelei's voice croaked, making all heads turn to her. Allison's eyes widened at Lorelei's belief and she immediately started nodding her head at the possibility. She turned back to her dad, walking towards his desk.

"Lor's right. Morrell knows a lot more than she lets on, and she might even be trying to help us." Allison said. She turned back to Lorelei and raised her brows, silently asking if that's what she meant and Lorelei smiled, nodding.

Stiles huffed, throwing his hands in the air in annoyance. "Well, she needs to get on that a lot faster, okay? Seeing as how the lunar eclipse is less than two freaking nights away." He snapped and Lorelei frowned.

She slowly walked towards Stiles until she was side by side with him. Lorelei looped her arm into his and rested her head on his shoulder. "Don't give up hope." Lorelei muttered, her voice cracking.

Stiles appreciated the gesture and moved his hand to grab Lorelei's, squeezing her hand and resting his head on hers "They could already be dead." He muttered and Conway instantly shook his head.

"No." He said, making Stiles and Lorelei lifted their heads off of each other and turn to him. Conway crossed his arms and pursed his lips as he gestured to his chest.

"It's a feeling. They're still alive. Plus, based off what's been on the news, there's something about Jennifer's tactics. It's like she's still positioning, still moving pieces into place." Conway explained and Lorelei felt Stiles let out a breath of relief.

Conway turned back to Chris, pointing to him. "And you're one of them."

Chris raised his eyebrows and grabbed the map off of his table. "Then let's not wait around to see the next move." He said while he opened the map and set it down. Everyone crowded around the table as he continued. "Everything she's done has been on a Telluric current, so Melissa and the sheriff have to be somewhere on one of those currents, right?"

Chris looked around the group, Allison, Conway, and Lorelei all nodding in agreement with him. When his eyes landed on Stiles, who was looking at the ground and completely disengaged with the conversation, he sighed. "Stiles, if we're gonna find them, we need your help."

"You seriously want to go after her?" Stiles asked and before anyone could answer, he spoke again, his tone getting more aggressive. "I mean, what if she just takes you like the others, huh?" Stiles snapped before his eyes moved to Lorelei. His demeanor softened but he still shot his arms out to gesture to the girl.

"Look what she did to Lorelei! A witch! She can barely talk!" Stiles screamed. Lorelei looked down to the floor and gulped, which made her stitches ache. Stiles turned back to Chris and scoffed. "Plus, no offense, but what's the difference between you and them?"

Chris, without looking, opened the drawer in front of him and pulled out a handgun. "I'm carrying a .45." He said and Stiles closed his mouth, huffing.

"Maybe she can heal from a shot to the leg and a few slashes to the face, but personally, I'd like to see how she holds up with half her skull blown off." Chris said as he loaded the gun. He placed the gun on his waistband and looked to Stiles. "We've got one priority right now, and that is to find Melissa and your dad. We've got a map and every clue we need to figure this out. The only thing we don't have is time, which is why I need all of you."

It was quiet for  a couple seconds and Lorelei knew Stiles was thinking about Argent's words. he sighed in defeat, looking up and locking eyes with Chris. "Where do we start?"

Chris smiled, glad he finally got Stiles to work with him and turned back to the map. "The place where the sacrifices have been committed have usually been different from where the bodies have been found. I think the placement could have to do with the strength of the current. There's the school, the animal clinic, the bank." He said, pointing to every location as he said them.

"Wait a sec, she wouldn't use the same place twice, would she?" Stiles asked and Chris's eyes widened as he looked up from the map and to Stiles.

"Only if she didn't succeed the first time." He whispered, his hand moving to the animal clinic.

"Deaton." Lorelei whispered and Chris nodded in agreement. "It was her only failure. That could mean something." He said, but Stiles shook his head.

"That's just one place so far. We're gonna need a lot more help." He said and Allison's eyes widened. She looked up to her dad, her eyes jumping to Lorelei for just a second. "What about Lydia? With her and Lor, we might find something." Allison suggested.

Chris and Conway's eyebrows furrowed at Allison's words. They looked to each other, hoping the other knew what Allison was talking about and when they saw that they were both equally confused, they turned back to Allison.

"Lydia? What can she do?" Conway asked and Lorelei's eyes widened as she remembered Jennifer's words back at the school.

"Banshee." Lorelei said, her eyes not looking at anyone, but when she felt eyes on her, she looked up. "Ms. Blake called her that. When she... screamed for me." Lorelei explained

Stiles sighed, tiredly nodding his head. "Glad that's finally off my list of things to do." He muttered half-jokingly. He looked between the four and nodded his head again, this time, with more energy. "Let's go!"

He and Lorelei turned to walk out of the room but they were both immediately stopped by Conway grabbing each of their shoulders and turning them around.

"Nope. You two are not going." He said and Lorelei's face scrunched while Stiles squinted at the man. "What?" Stiles asked, but Conway ignored him, turning to his daughter.

"Lor, you can't seriously think it's a good idea to go." Conway sighed out. Lorelei opened her mouth to speak, but Chris beat her to it. "You need to rest." He interjected, making Lorelei turn to him. "You and your dad can protect everyone here. That's what you can do." He finished.

...

Lorelei didn't end up going to school the next morning, still healing from the attack. Her dad insisted she stay in bed and Lorelei didn't complain; she couldn't remember the last time she had a good nights sleep since school started and the alpha pack came to Beacon Hills.

She was asleep, completely knocked out, when her phone vibrating in bed with her made Lorelei jump awake.

Lorelei groggily reached for her phone while her free hand tried to run the sleep out of her eyes. Adjusting to being awake, she could blurrily see Isaac's contact calling her.

She answered the phone and brought the phone to her ear. "Hello?" Her voice shook from just walking up and her injury.

Isaac sighed on the other end of the call. "Hey Lor, Ive got some bad news..." Isaac muttered and it was like all of the tiredness Lorelei was still feeling washed away and she shot up. "What happened?"

"Jennifer... took Argent." Isaac said and Lorelei's jaw dropped. She opened her mouth to speak, but Isaac cursed under his breath and cut her off. "Or um... he sacrificed himself. He played bait."

Lorelei's breath got stuck in her throat. She blinked and it was almost as if it helped her come back to reality.

"Look, I'm staying with Allison to make sure she's okay. I texted Lydia, but she didn't answer. I know you're staying at home for the day but could you go to the school and check on her and Stiles?" Isaac asked and Lorelei shook her head.

"Yeah... Yes, of course." Lorelei said, finally pulling herself back into the conversation.

Isaac nodded even though Lorelei couldn't see him. "Okay. Be careful, please." He said and Lorelei hummed, muttering a small, "you too."

...

Lorelei ran as fast as she could into the school—which wasn't too fast since: A) she can't run and B) she had an injury on her neck—and searched the halls for Stiles and Lydia.

She headed towards the class they would have at this time first, then their lockers, and then Finstocks office. After getting yelled at about how "she wasn't on the team" and therefore "didn't need to see him" Lorelei practically ran out of the coach's office.

As she closed the door behind her, Lorelei looked up and her eyes widened when she saw Lydia and Stiles across the hall, walking out of Morrells office.

"Hey!" Lorelei yelled across the hall, despite how much it made her throat burn.

Stiles and Lydia turned around at the sound of Lorelei's voice and waited for her to reach them. Her jaw was clenched and her nostrils flared as she pointed between the two of them accusingly. "You need to answer phones!" She snapped, like a parent reprimanding their child.

Stiles sighed, and gave Lorelei sorry but tired look. "I'm sorry about that, Lorelei. I really am, but we know about that already." Stiles said and Lorelei's shoulders slumped.

"Oh..." She muttered as she nervously crossed her arms.

"We know where they are." Stiles said and Lorelei's eyes widened, before she could ask where, Stiles answered, knowing what she was going to ask and not wanting her to speak and injure her throat more. "It's the nemeton. That's where she's keeping them."

"Stilinski!" A voice from down the hall screamed.

Lorelei, Lydia, and Stiles all looked down the hall and their eyes fell on a man in a suit Lorelei didn't recognize. Her eyebrows creased together, but when Stiles, sighed, she turned back to him.

"All right, look, go to Derek, okay? He and Peter have been there before, so they'll know where it is. Tell them it's the root cellar, all right? They'll know." Stiles quickly explained to Lorelei and Lydia and when they both nodded, Stiles left them, walking towards the man down the hall.

...

It turned out, Derek and Peter didn't remember where the nemeton was; Talia Hale taking their memories of the location. Lorelei texted Stiles everything they found out and he told them to grab her dad and meet him at the animal clinic.

Now,  Lorelei, her dad, Lydia, Allison, Isaac, Stiles, and Deaton all stood around the backroom of the clinic, trying to brainstorm where the nemeton could be.

"It has to be on a Telluric current, or maybe even at the axis of two or where they all intersect. I just know it's where Derek took Paige to die." Stiles explained, groaning through his words in frustration.

Allison shook her head and bit her lip nervously as she looked down at the map she had taken from her dads office. "My dad and Gerard were there once. But Gerard said it was years ago, and he couldn't remember where it was. And my dad obviously isn't here to tell us now."

Isaac shrugged in annoyance, getting aggravated that they haven't been able to find them yet. "Then how do we find this place?" He asked and Deaton's posture slowly straightened as an idea popped into his head.

"There might be a way. But it's dangerous. And we're gonna need Scott." Deaton said.

Conway squinted at the man before he started to catch onto Deaton's plan. Conway's eyes widened and he shook his head. "Deaton, no–" "Allison and Stiles. You two and Scott will be surrogate sacrifices for your parents." Deaton said, interrupting Conway to speak to the two.

Lorelei's eyebrows shot up at Deaton's words, looking at him as if he were crazy. "They die for them?" Lorelei croaked and Deaton quickly spoke up to defend his plan. "But we can bring you back." Deaton said and when all of the teens started to look between each other, nervous looks in their eyes, he just shrugged. "I said it was dangerous."

Allison looked back to Deaton and noticed Conway standing beside him, his arms crossed as he bit his thumbnail. Allsion didn't know Conway that well, but she knew his daughter and what he was doing was a nervous tick for Lorelei.

"What do you think about this?" Allison asked him, making Conway shoot his head up as all of the teens looked to him.

Conway sighed in defeat, dropping his hands into his back pockets as he nodded. "It's dangerous, but it can be done." He said before he tilted his head and walked closer to the table.

"If it goes right, the three of you will be dead for a few seconds, but there's something else you need to think about. You'll be giving power back to the nemeton, a place that hasn't had power for a long time. This kind of power is like a magnet. It attracts the supernatural and it will draw them here. It'll also effect the three of you." He said, pointing to only Stiles and Allison since Scott wasn't there. "You won't be able to see it, but you'll feel it every day for the rest of your lives."

Stiles and Allison turned to each other and Lorelei watched the two of them nervously. If her dad was iffy about this plan, Lorelei didn't like it at all.

After a couple seconds, Stiles turned back to the adults and sighed. "If it brings my dad back, I'm in." He said and Allison nodded her head in agreement. "Me too."

"Okay, you two will have find something important of your parents." Conway said to them before he turned to Deaton. "Deaton and I will find Scott, fill him in on the plan." He said and then he turned to Lorelei, Isaac, and Lydia. "And you three, get ice."

Lorelei, Isaac, and Lydia squinted at Conway. "Ice?" Lorelei asked, her voice cracking and instead of explaining why they needed ice, her father just nodded.

"How much ice?" Isaac asked and Conway just smiled.

"Lots of it."

...

Lorelei, Isaac, and Lydia filled Lydia's entire trunk with bags upon bags of ice. Sure, they go weird looks from the cashier at the gas station, but Lorelei's dad said gets lots of it, and they didn't want to get too little.

Stiles and Allison found something important of their parents and Conway and Deaton ended up finding Scott and helping him get his item in the time it took the three to get the ice. When they all met back up at he clinic, Deaton set up three bathtubs in the room and after adding different items and plants into the water, he had Isaac, Lorelei, and Lydia fill them up with the ice they bought.

While the three of them did that, Conway and Deaton turned to Scott, Stiles, and Allison. "What did you bring?" Deaton asked the three, his eyes on Stiles first.

Stiles fished into his front pocket and pulled out a bent and dented police badge. "Um, I got my dad's badge. Jennifer kind of crushed it in her hand, so I tried hammering it out a bit. Still doesn't look great." Stiles muttered, looking down at the badge sadly.

"It doesn't need to look good for it to have meaning." Conway said, trying to make the boy feeling better. Stiles looked up to Conway and gave him a small smile, appreciating his words.

Stiles turned to Scott and Allison beside him and his eyes widened at what was in Allison's hands. "Is that an actual silver bullet?" He asked and Allison smiled, twirling the metal in her hands. "My dad made it. It's kind of a ceremonial thing. When one of us finishes learning all the skills to be a hunter, we forge a silver bullet as a testament to the code." She explained.

Deaton smiled at the explanation before turning to the last teen. "Scott?"

Scott sighed as he looked down at the watch in his hands. He rubbed his thumb over the cold metal and licked his lips. "My dad got my mom this watch when she first got hired at the hospital. She used to say it was the only thing in their marriage that ever worked." He chuckled the ending out, hoping to relieve some of the tension.

By now, Lorelei, Isaac, and Lydia finished filling the tubs with ice and joined everyone else.

Deaton nodded his head, moving out of the way so Scott, Stiles, and Allison could walk towards the bathtubs. "Okay, the three of you will get in." He said, gesturing to the tubs and as the three of them walked towards and into the tubs, he continued.

"Each of us will hold you down until you're essentially... Well, dead. But it's not just someone to hold you under. It needs to be someone who can pull you back, someone that has a strong connection to you, a kind of emotional tether." Deaton explained.

Scott and Isaac immediately turned to each other, silently agreeing Isaac would pull Scott out. Lydia walked towards Allison, barely having to think twice about it as Lorelei started walking towards Stiles.

"Lydia." Deaton called out, making the strawberry blonde stop and turn to him. Deaton smiled, looking to Stiles. "You go with Stiles."

Lydia looked back and forth between Allison and Stiles before nodding and walking towards the boy. As Lorelei walked towards Allison, the two girls locked eyes and smirked.

Once Isaac, Lorelei, and Lydia were standing with their respected partners, they pressed their hands onto their shoulders and pushed them into the water.
