"W-war?"

The word literally shook her from head to feet. She stood there, eyes widened with fear and surprise.

"With w-whom?" she asked, her lips trembling.

Jimin didn't spare a glance at her, "Orcs." he took two swords, three guns and also a bow with him. The whole castle was filled soldiers preparing themselves for the coming war.

Orcs were mythical. They were only told in children stories. Until now..... She was told that orcs live in this universe.

She gulped down her throat.

"They suddenly attacked us from north. The villages are already attacked. Before they dominate the town and The Kingdom, we must fight them back." he managed to say that before he put on a warrior outfit and left the room.

Myeong Jo went to the hallway and found every soldier lining up in front of the main gate, armed. Some were ridding their horses towards the town.

She walked to the main hall room where Jimin and Jungkook were discussing their plans with the Minister, circling a table which had a large map marked with red and blue signs. Myeong Jo secretly walked passed them and stood behind Jungkook so that no one can see her. She easily overhead their conversation.

"They attacked from the North. So we should send some towards that way." Jungkook pointed the North side of the map.

"But a fisherman from East said he saw an army of orcs marching towards this way." he also added.

Jimin led the conversation, "Then send some over there too. The town is going to be under attack soon. We should go there."

"But King, the castle? If we fail to protect the town, they are gonna take it down!" The Minister worriedly said.

The three were continuing their discussion more than 10 minutes yet the failed to reach a solution. Myeong Jo noticed everything and figured out a small plan.

She stood beside Jungkook and took the marker from the table. Her sudden appearance made Jungkook jump in place!

"How about archers stand by in front of the main gate? The North's attack is proximately more accurate so send more people there. The others including Jimin, Jungkook should go and protect the city first. The fisherman's words can't be ignored so let's just send ten men with shot guns for watch out. They will handle and back out if outnumbered." she stated and looked at Jimin.

All three of them were staring at her with their mouth wide open. Especially Jimin. When did his wife get this smart?

"Noona! Daebak! You're awesome!" Jungkook high-fived with her.

The Minister was quite impressed with The Queen's clever skills.

And Jimin was proud of her. He smiled slightly as his heart was filling with joy.

"So let's do as Your Highness suggested. It's lot more simple and planned." The Minister went to inform the others.

Jimin patted her head, "I'll be back soon."

Myeong Jo said, "You go first. I'll join you soon."

Saying she was about to leave for change but Jimin grabbed her hand, looking at her with furrowed eyebrows.

"Y-you're not talking about joining me in the war, are you?" he questioned cautiously.

Myeong Jo stared at him for a few seconds, "What else will I be talking about?"

Jimin let her go and was surprised.

"No. You can't go to the war." he said.

Myeong Jo was also surprised by his words, "W-what do you mean?"

"Myeong Jo........You cannot be at the battlefield. It's not safe for you. Y-you can't fight......." he worriedly said to her.

Jungkook looked at Jimin, "Hyung, we have to go."

"No! I want to fight too! I can fight! I'll be fine, I promise." she fought back.

Jimin got upset by her talk back, "You are not skilled yet. You lost your memory. You cannot be fighting with orcs now, Myeong Jo."

"You said, I fought with everyone last year. I was skilled in archery and sword fighting. I am now too. I can fight, Jimin. I want to. Please don't stop me."

Jimin didn't like her going to battlefields. What if something bad happens?

"You will not join. Stay here and wait for me." he was about to turn back when she held his arm.

"Jimin, please don't be like this. I want to fight for this castle! For this kingdom! For my people! I can't just sit here while everyone is fighting for their lives. I am skilled and I can fight. Please let me do this....please....." she pleaded this time.

She was being really stubborn and Jimin didn't like it, "I said you will not go! And that's a King's order! So stay put, Myeong Jo!"

His yelling made her shook. This was the first time he actually y-yelled at her. It felt like something scratched her heart out from her chest. She let his arm go unintentionally as she felt hurt by his behavior.

All she wanted to do was to protect the kingdom. More specifically she wanted to protect Jimin.

Jimin himself was surprised that he yelled at her. He saw her getting hurt and upset in a few seconds and he did not want that. He wanted to hug her right now but time was running out.

"Hyung! We have to go now!" Jungkook shouted at lost Jimin.

Jimin sighed and looked at Myeong Jo one last time.

"I don't want to lose you, Jagi. Not again."

Myeong Jo felt like crying. Jimin turned back and left the palace with Jungkook for their destination.

But no one could stop Myeong Jo. She wanted to fight and she was determined to do that. She got ready in her outfit and covered her face. Then she sneaked out of the castle from the back door secretly. She took a horse from the royal stable and made her way to the town. If she is The Queen, she has to fight for her people and kingdom. Though all she was afraid of losing Jimin. Her full target was to protect him no matter what.

By the time, she reached the town, the city was already under attack. Orcs were loaded inside the buildings, shops, clubs everywhere. They were charging innocent humans and killing them. The royal soldiers and guards were fighting with them. Fortunately orcs didn't know how to use guns. They only used swords and daggers. So it was easy to kill them.

Myeong Jo at first felt scared. She never even killed an animal in her life now orcs? She got down from the horse and ran inside.

She pulled her hoodie down and began searching for people who were hiding. She found some men and took them to safety. She kept her ears and eyes sharp. Among the battle of orcs and men, anyone can attack her any minute. She was taking a woman to safety when suddenly a tall orc charged at her. Myeong Jo took out her sword and swooped his head down in a flash! That was unexpected.

She stared at her bloody sword and the dead orc. S-she just killed one. For the first time. Then she found courage within and did her job perfectly.

The war was decreasing as orcs began fleeing. Jimin knew they were about to win. But he also knew the leader of the orcs is still alive. Until he kills him, the orcs won't stop attacking them. So Jimin got on his feet and made his way towards the leader orc.

The leader orc was the tallest and strongest among all. He was the most hideous to look at. He was also fighting like a demon and killing the humans with no mercy!

Jimin was about to slay him down by his sword. But the leader orc turned back and pointed a gun at his forehead.

He was shocked to see the orc holding a gun. They don't know how to use them.

The leader orc began laughing maniacally. Jimin didn't know what to do. The orc was pointing right at him, he may shoot anytime.

Jimin thought inside his mind, "A-am I going to die?"

Myeong Jo just finished taking everyone to safety. She even killed many orcs mid way. Now that the city was almost empty, only with soldiers and guards, she couldn't find Jimin. She saw Jungkook calling for Jimin again and again, worriedly.

That's when the thought hit her! Was Jimin in danger?

She gasped and ran here and there in order to search for him. The corners, the shops, fields...... He wasn't anywhere. Her face was sweating due to tension and her heart was twisting in pain. She was so worried about him.

The others began searching for their King too. Jungkook was calling him loudly in a broken voice. He wouldn't live without his hyung.

Myeong Jo was out of breath running so fast. Yet she didn't give up. She searched and searched and searched.

Finally she saw a cruel scene in front of her! The orc leader was holding the gun at Jimin. Jimin who should be fighting back or he should run away to save his life.......instead he was just standing there. Does he want to die?!

Myeong Jo saw the orc pulling the triger with his thumb very slowly. She didn't know anything else. All she knew was that she ran. She ran and didn't know anything else.

A loud gunshot was heard all on a sudden. Making everyone present at the town cautious. Jungkook knew the war was over then who would suddenly shoot? That's when he thought that's where his brother must be!

"He's there! Go left! Follow the sound!" he shouted before getting on his horse. The soldiers ran towards the gunshot direction.

When they reached the spot, they witnessed the most terrible scene they ever saw in their life.

Their King was crying out loud for his wife; their Queen. They saw their King sitting on his knees and holding her face close to his chest and screaming his heart out!

The Queen was shot in her chest.......
