02: harsh, okay

Seoyun and Felix eventually got to buy a everything they needed, groceries and new furniture, with the help of Haeun, the only accessible adult near them. After meeting with some of Felix's friends a few more times, she started to be able to start conversations with them properly, a huge improvement compared to when they first met.

"Felix, don't you have practice today?" Seoyun said when she interrupted Felix playing games in his room. He looked at the clock by him then hurriedly got ready. "I'll take you there, I'm headed to meet with our grandparents in a restaurant near you so let's just go together," she said as she closed the door for him to finish getting ready.

"Okay, I'm ready, let's go," Felix said a little out of breath. "You look weird, what are you wearing?" Felix asked Seoyun as she put on her heels, she was wearing something fancier than typical, she had to wear something formal whenever she went out with her grandparents.

"It's what I'm expected to wear, especially around our grandparents in public," Seoyun said as she straightened her dress. Felix then recalled every moment he had to wear something nicer than what he would typically wear whenever he went out with his grandparents.

"Okay makes sense. Hey, make sure that you change from that later, I don't want to stand next to you while you look like a snob," Felix said as he grabbed his bag.

"You don't have to ask me twice, I'll just buy a new set of clothes to change into," Seoyun said as she grabbed a bag for her clothes. They took a taxi to Felix's studio and Seoyun just planned to walk from there.

"Seoyun, do you want to hang out with me and the guys after practice, I'll promise we'll take a shower before meeting with you," Felix asked standing at the front of the building.

"Okay, text me when you guys are done and I'll just come to you guys," she said then left with a wave.

"Was that your cousin?" Woojin asked. Felix nodded as he watched her cross the road to the busier street.

"You'll be able to meet her later, she's coming to see us here," Felix said.

"So does that mean you live with her now and we can't spend the night at your place anymore?" Minho asked.

"I guess that's up to her," Felix shrugged then went inside with Woojin and Minho.

"Do some stretches before we start," Chan told them as he set up the music they were going to dance to.

"Will Seoyun come later?" Seungmin asked Felix.

"Yes, she said she'll meet us there," Felix answered as he started to stretch. Seungmin smiled in excitement to hear that Seoyun was coming to hang out with them.

"You've met her before?" Hyunjin curiously asked Woojin and Minho.

"We just saw her downstairs, we missed the chance of talking to each other," Woojin answered. Hyunjin simply nodded in acknowledgement.

"Let's practice hard so we can impress Seoyun!" Chan motivated them. They boys got into their designated positions then started to dance harder than before.

Meanwhile, Seoyun went to the restaurant where her grandparents were waiting for her. She took a deep breath and entered the private room where her grandparents were. They greeted each other with wide smiles and hugs since they haven't seen each other for almost a year.

"Seoyun-ah! You've gotten so tall since the past year. you're taller than me now," her grandmother greeted with a hug. "Did you just get here? We could've sent a car to pick you up, did anybody see you come here?" Her grandmother asked worriedly.

"It's okay grandma, I came here safely plus nobody knows that I came back other than family members," Seoyun said.

"It may not be like that all the time, but to be safe next time please take a driver with you, should I send some maids to your apartment?" Her grandmother asked.

"No need, that's why we wanted to live in an apartment in the first place, Yongbok and I are capable of living by ourselves," Seouyun said.

"Our beautiful granddaughter, do you have a boyfriend still?" Her grandfather asked. She looked at them then shook her head.

"We broke up a month ago, we're not staying as friends this time," she said, a hint of regret in her voice.

"I didn't like him in the first place," her grandfather stated causing her grandmother to lightly hit him.

"No, it's a good thing. I finally ended things with him, that whole relationship was not good for me," Seoyun admitted. Her grandmother sympathized with her and pet her back to comfort her.

"Did your brothers beat him up? Should I send someone to beat him up, you know I can do that," her grandfather teased.

"I had that handled," she jokingly said, a smile appeared again on her face.

"That piece of trash. Do you want me to set you up with one of my friends grandson?" Her grandmother asked with a mischievous smile.

"Grandma, no! It's so embarrassing to talk about this, let's talk about something else now, please," Seoyun quickly trying to change the topic.

"Very well, how was school?" Her grandmother asked sitting back on her chair as the food was being served, her grandparents had ordered the food before she got there.

"They've been good, I was having a hard time for a while but it didn't affect my grades," she admitted, a subtle frown on her face,

"With those grades you can get into any university you want, hopefully Yongbok gets similar results," her grandfather sighed.

"I'll help him, don't worry," Seoyun reassured them with a smile.

"Well since we're on the topic of universities, have you decided where you want to go? Are you planning on studying here in Korea or somewhere else?" Her grandfather asked.

"I don't know yet, I've had offers from some but everything is still undecided," she said, thinking carefully about her future.

"There's still some time left before you have to make a decision, just be sure to continue getting good grades so you have more options," her grandmother said as she prepped herself for eating.

"I guess you're right," Seoyun said before taking a bite of her food.

Her grandparents had to get to a meeting after their lunch, Seoyun immediately went to the nearest store to buy a whole new outfit to get out of the uncomfortable dress she was in.

Felix was still practicing when she finished so she had decided to visit his studio.

To Lix 🌟
hey i finished early, can i meet you at your studio instead?
what room are you in?

As she was walking to the building her phone buzzed notifying her that she had a text.

Lix 🌟
chris said you could
it's at 304, just say you're there for bang chan at the reception and they'll lead you

Seoyun didn't bother to respond and just followed the directions Felix gave. It was fairly obvious that Felix was in the room since she could identify his screams a few door away. She  knocked lightly on the door before sticking her head into the room. They were sweaty and panting heavily, most of them were on the floor resting. She quietly walked in and sat down on a couch in the corner without being noticed by any of them.

"She'll be here soon, we should wipe our sweat and look presentable," Chan said as he worked to end the music playing. The other boys agreed and got up from their resting position to turn to the couch she was sitting in.

"Uh I don't think we have to worry about that, she's already here," Hyunjin said then grabbed his water bottle next to her, she smiled at him softly as she bowed her head to greet him, he looked at her, bowed his head, then left.

"Harsh, okay," she whispered to herself.

"How was lunch Seoyun?"Felix asked as he sat down with her.

"Good, but they mentioned my ex and it got pretty uncomfortable," she said, playing with her fingers.

"That bitch, I still can't believe you dated that guy," Felix said, annoyed whenever he's mentioned.

"I know that, I regret it too," she said with a slight frown.

"Seoyun, can you wait a little bit for us?" Seungmin asked with his puppy smile.

"No worries, take your time," she said, her smile coming back again.

Seoyun stayed on her phone as the cleaner boys entered the practice room again. She stood up from the couch then met them halfway.

"So where are we going?" She asked.

"Chicken? Pizza? Both?" A guy with an excited smile said.

"Deal," she responded with a thumbs up. She looked at him then Felix then back to him, desperate for one of them to tell her his name.

"Woojin," he smiled once he figured it out.

"Seoyun," she bowed her head lightly out of respect.

"Minho, it's nice to meet you," another interrupted with a smile, she smiled back and bowed.

Seoyun sat in between Seungmin and Felix while across from her was Hyunjin.

"Are you excited for school to start?" Seungmin asked.

"More than I was a week ago, and truthfully I have you guys to thank for that," she said sincerely.

"Well, I'm glad I met you too," Seungmin said turning his head away with a slight blush.

"I agree, I guess," Hyunjin said nonchalantly. Seoyun and Seungmin looked at him confused at first than laughed lightly at the boy across them.
