"You okay?" Felix whispered to Seoyun.
"Yeah, I'm good," she smiled then turned her phone off and quickly put it under her seat. Between the 8 people in the table the only people when knew about Seoyun's past was Felix and Jisung; Seoyun told Felix everything—the good and the bad—as did he and Jisung somehow got her to talk about it, during one of those nights where the moment felt right to pour out their problems and their sob stories. "I have to go deal with something real quick, I'll be back," she told them then left the table.
Seoyun went to go pay for their food at the counter, she knows Woojin or Chan would have much rather paid for the food themselves but she didn't want them to worry about anything, they were already stressed out enough with their life outside of dance. As they were finishing up her payment the store door opened to the sound of an obnoxious tune, and it was Sua.
"She had the nerve to do that to me, I swear the next time I see her I'm really going to beat her up," her voice said just before coming through the door. "That little rat is really going to get it once I get my hands on her," her voice drifted just before hearing the little bell of the store door closing shut.
"And you'll do what exactly?" Seoyun spoke up with the calmest voice as she waited for her change back, not bothering to look at Sua and her friends at all.
"Oh god, I can't eat here anymore," Sua pushes past her friends to get closer to Seoyun. "This place has rats."
"So are we going to fight now or what," Seoyun finally faced Sua who was right at her face.
Sua had never seen a person start a fight with her directly so Seoyun's words took her and her friends by surprise quickly. "You better not regret your words," she said, her confidence lowering slightly.
"Hey, Seoyun! What's taking you so long?" Jisung's voice boomed as he got closer to them, once he was close enough to actually see what was happening Jisung stood in place, shocked and surprised, it was Sua. He didn't know what to think: why was Sua there? Do Sua and Seoyun know each other? Do the boys know Sua was here? All he knew for sure was the Seoyun in front of Sua was not the Seoyun he knew.
"Han Jisung, it's been a while," Sua said when Jisung came into view with a smirk. "Birds of the same feather do flock together, of course, losers hang out with other losers," she faced Seoyun again.
"Let's go back to the others and not cause a scene," Jisung tried pulling her back, but she kept her place and was barely fazed by him.
"I already finished paying, you guys go ahead and leave, I have some things to take care off first," she said then turned to him with a smile that he recognized and left the restaurant while dragging Sua behind her, Sua's friends and Jisung trailing behind them.
"Other than the fact that you've disrespected me and my friends, I need more reason to beat you right now, so I'll let you hit me first," Seoyun said as she stuffed her hands in her pocket to keep them warm from the cold air as they waited in the alley next to the restaurant.
"And then what? You'll sue me? That's what all rich people do," she joked, gaining laughs from her friends, except for Eunso who hasn't looked at Seoyun in the eyes yet.
"So do you want me to punch you first?" Seoyun finally her hands out to breathe on them.
"Who knew the little princess is willing to get her hands dirty? Okay, I'll let you call one of you guards to do it for you," Sua kept talking. It was obvious she was only trying to stall for time, waiting, begging someone to stop them before anything escalates.
"Don't even bother with it, it's a lose-lose situation Sua. Rich people take dirty revenge," one of her friends said.
"Yeah Sua! It's not worth the hassle," another said as Sua began to back away to her friends.
"You lucked out today, rat. I better not see you again," Sua said.
"You're really annoying me now, stop talking and put your arms up," Seoyun said getting annoyed after the obvious attempt to not fight.
"Wait, this just leave her be," Jisung stood in between the two of them after finding the chance to stop her. "She's not worth your time, Seoyun," he held her shoulders in place, blocking her sight from them, as he turned to Sua and her friends to tell them to leave.
"Kang Sua, I agree," she said in a calm voice but was shaking under Jisung's hold. "It's best that we never see each other again."
"That's what I thought," Sua laughed with fake confidence.
"Because I don't think I'll be able to control myself from punching you straight on the face," Seoyun peeked her head from Jisung's side. "Thank you Jisung," she rested her head on his chest.
"It's okay," Jisung pet her head softly.
"We should go look for somewhere else to eat," Eunso whispered to their group.
"Han Jisung!" Sua shouted Jisung turned to her with a glare.
"What do you want?" He growled.
"Tell the boys I miss them, it's been a while since you guys ruined my life," she said with a smug grin. "How's Hyunjin, does he miss me? He was the most attached, god I still remember the look on his sad, little face. And Seungmin, is he still a little bitch that needs his hand held? Fuck, you guys were a sad group."
"Oh shut up Sua, stop using us as an excuse to validate you being a shitty person to us," Jisung said angrily. "Let's leave," he kept his grip on her shoulders tight as they walked back in the restaurant to stop her from coming for Sua, no matter how much he wanted to see that happen he knew Seoyun wouldn't be able to look at herself in the same way again, what she had built the past few months trying to correct her wrongs would all go to waste once she hits Sua.
"You guys are jerks for leaving us alone like that," the sliding door of the restaurant opened and right in front was Hyunjin who was the most impatient of them all. Her silence wasn't unusual since she barely talked in the first place, but he knew something was wrong by her lowered head and shaking body. Jisung pushes her against Hyunjin for her to lean on, she stayed still in fear, wondering what they would think if they saw what she was about to do if they heard the words she said, if they realized what type of person she truly was. She wasn't ready for them to know yet, she wasn't ready for them to hate her like she used to.
"Did you guys eat well?" She asked quietly as he ran his hand on her back.
"It was really good, thank you for paying," he said.
"Is something wrong? What happened?" Seungmin whispered to Jisung as the rest of them tried to comfort Seoyun.
"Check for yourself," Jisung said then turned his head to the direction of the alley they were in. Seungmin followed and saw Sua smoking cigarettes with her friends a few feet away from them.
"Kang Sua," Seungmin said aloud which made heads turn.
"Sua?" Hyunjin said Seoyun tensed under him.
"Let's go back, they should be announcing winners soon," Woojin suggested as held Hyunjin by the arm to pull him back.
"Did he say Kang Sua?" Hyunjin asked, his hands slowly moved away from Seoyun to go next to Seungmin to check is it really was her.
"What? Did you miss me?"
