poetry feeds hungry hearts

in a country ruled by Silence

eager minds peck at words

given by arty eloquence

lines scented with emotions

rustle faded foliage of hurt

damp breeze calms storms

raging in minds not inert

the thirst of an eternity

for verses have no cure

as there is not enough of it,

in this world of less allure...
