Ok so for my absence I'm giving a worthy update. Hopefully, it will meet your standards. Thanks for everyone's input on the last author's note.

💓Jason's P.O.V💓

"Ashley Mia already found out," I said whispering on the phone in my bedroom.
"How the f*ck did she find out? Did you tell her?" She said, panic evident in her words.
"Of course not, do you think I'm stupid?" I gasped in horror.

I would never hurt Mia like that.

"So how did she find out?" She asked sighing softly.
"When you told me that Mia's birthday is in two days, I decided to take her for a pre-birthday celebration. So I bought tickets for a 5SOS concert. We went there and somehow Mia got invited on stage by one of the band leaders. Mia paled immediately she faced the crowd. At first, I thought it was 'cause of stage fright, but she immediately got down and started demanding we go back home. I tried reasoning with her but she utterly refused. I decided we leave, but before we left I told Michael the head of the technical department to send the coverage. That's when I saw that scumbag Dayne having some tongue action with a girl." I said as I curled my hands into a fist.

"Do you think I should have told Mia when I found out instead of giving her subtle hints?... Mia is in so much pain now." Ashley asked sounding like she wanted to cry.

"I don't think so. Before you told me that Dayne was cheating on Mia, I had my doubts already. I investigated him 'cause I was looking out for Mia and found that he has been associated with many scandals but he paid off the reporters. It was through the private detective I hired that got this information. When you told me I became certain about the detective findings.
I still don't think we should have told Mia because she was so much in love that she wouldn't have believed." I said while shaking my head.

Poor Mia found out in the worst way. That Dayne must pay for what he did.

"Mia knew I never liked Dayne, and he knew that too. He knew I saw through his bad guy turned good facade. I....." She was talking when she was interrupted by someone shouting.
"Is everything alright Ashley?" I asked because it sounded like a guy's voice and the voice portrayed anger.
"Yes. I'll call you back after I deal with this person." She said while hanging up immediately.

I hope she isn't in danger?

💟Ashley's P.O.V💓

"I'll call you after I deal with this person," I said immediately hanging up on Jason.
"What is it Greg?... Have you come to yell at me also at home?" I said to the intruder you happened to be my fiancé.

"Wow, Ash so I suddenly become this person. Isn't that great?... Who was that? boyfriend number two. What in the world is wrong with you?" Greg said anger evident in his voice.

"Just because I'm not you that goes punching any guy that makes mere advances to my fiancee, doesn't mean that I have no respect for commitment," I said poking him on his chest.

"She says mere advances," Greg said raising his hands up like he was speaking to an audience. He then turned back to me.
"I don't see a guy hitting your butt as you walked past him as a mere advance. Or did you secretly enjoy him harassing you?"

"Are you listening to yourself, Greg?... Does harassment seem like something someone will enjoy?" I snorted in anger.

Wow! Lots of bad vibes going on this night.

"The fact that you didn't react shows that you were enjoying it."
"Just because I don't punch people, doesn't mean I enjoyed what that guy did. There's something called acting civilized. Haven't you heard of the word?" I asked him mockingly.

"So you're saying I'm going all bananas on people? That I'm acting crazy?" He said narrowing his into slits.
"For goodness sake, Greg stop jumping into conclusions, and act mature for once," I said while raising my hands in frustration.

"You want to know what I think?... I'm tired of wasting my time with a skank like you. I want a break from all these."
"You called me a skank Greg?" I said with more disappointment than anger.
"Yes, I did. Or did I stutter?" He asked me mockingly.

I'm not going to give him the satisfaction and cry. I can't believe the same Greg I love will call me a skank. We haven't fought like this before, I don't know what was happening this night.

"Fine. Let's break off our engagement if that's what you want." I said blocking any trace of emotion.

If he wants to be an ass that's fine.

"This is what I want and I'm very certain of the way I feel. Don't even know what I was thinking of asking you to marry me." He said looking at me with disgust.

Ouch! That hit me right in the heart.

"Get out of my house and don't ever show your face here," I said pointing my finger at the door.

"I wouldn't even come back here even if my life depended on it. Good riddance to rubbish." He finished and stalked out of the door.

Is this how heartbreak feels like? 'cause I think my heart just shattered into a thousand unfixable pieces.

I forgot to call Jason back because I cried myself to sleep that night.

And that stupid part of my heart and brain still missed Greg after what he said to me.

💟Mia's P.O.V💓

I listened carefully to Ashley and Jason's conversation.
I wanted to ask Jason to come to watch a movie with me since I felt down. After we got home from the concert where I found out Dayne was cheating on me I went to my room immediately but I decided to come out now. I didn't want to wallow in self-pity after what I saw. I wanted to act strong but what I heard Jason say broke my resolve.

"So you both knew about this all along but you didn't tell me?" I said immediately I stepped into the room after Jason stopped speaking. Meaning he already ended the call.
I saw guilt flash in his eyes.

At least he feels bad about it.

"I'm sorry Mia but it wasn't my place to tell you." He said, standing up from his bed and coming close to me.
"You watched me make a fool out of myself while you knew all along. I feel very stupid and totally dumb. I thought we were friends." I said as tears started clouding my vision.

I couldn't deny that Jason and Ashley knowing all along hurts.

"I'm really sorry M&M, I didn't want you to get hurt that's why I didn't tell you." He said grimly.
"Don't you dare call me that. Only the friend I thought I had called me that. You didn't want me to get hurt?... So this didn't hurt me! Answer me you traitor." I screamed in anger.

"Mia calm down, you're overreacting." He said trying to hold my shoulders but I shook him off.

I don't want those traitor hands close to me.

"Don't tell me how to react. I think every word I say now and how I speak is well accounted for. If you were me how would you feel? All this while your friends knew your fiancé was cheating on you and they kept it a secret. Tell me how would you feel!" I yelled grabbing Jason by his shirt.

"Be rational Mia. Let's both act like adults right now." Jason said easing my hands off his fabric.
"He's saying I'm acting immature and irrational," I said talking in the third person. "Bravo... You really know how to mess things up to don't you?"

"Mia I was thinking about your welfare for crying out loud!" He yelled in frustration.
"Don't you dare yell at me. You *poke have no right *poke to yell at me. If anyone should be yelling it should be me."
"Ok, I'm sorry. I had no intention of yelling at you." Jason said looking guilty.

You better feel guilty mister.

"I regret knowing and trusting you. After all, we have been through these past fifteen days I thought you were a good person, but all you did was to stab me in the back. You're really a betrayer and people like you are the reason why the world isn't a better place." I retorted angrily.

"You don't mean all what you're saying," Jason said as sadness flashed in his eyes.
"I mean every single f*cking word. Before I met you I had a normal life, a loving boyfriend, a good best friend. But boom the moment you entered my life it became full of disarray. My boyfriend is cheating on me and my best friend is keeping things from me. Just get the hell out from my life, 'cause you in it is messing things up for me." I said while gazing darkly at him.

I don't mean these things but I was really angry so my emotions are not stable.

"Fine! Let's just keep to ourselves this remaining fifteen days. We'll complete these thirty days for the sake of our grandfathers and after that, we can go our separate ways." He said raising his hands in frustration.

I could see he was hurt just as I was but we both wouldn't admit it.

"That works for me just fine. Goodbye, Mr. Steele."
"Goodbye Miss Montana." He said as I stalked out of his room.

If I should rate how hurt I feel right now. I think I and Jason's quarrel hurt me the most.

Please I need ship names for Ashley and Greg. Hehehe you know I suck at ship names.

Hehehe😂 The long-awaited update( I like to feel maybe there were people waiting for this update;-)

I don't think I know how to write about conflicts because as you all can feel through my author's note I'm a really peaceful person. But as a writer, you've got to get out of your comfort zone.

Btw I would never abandon my book incase some readers felt that way. I just needed some time to work on my previous chapters. I'm not back fully but I'll update as soon as I can.

Btw my laptop is faulty so all my updates have been from my phone. Trust me it's stressful as hell.

Ok for some weird reason this update is acting funny. It's a draft and was supposed to be published today. I'm surprised some readers can actually see it. Can someone please tell me what is actually wrong?😐
