After getting back to the ride, Arshad, Talma, Arshi, Wahid and Marco changed their clothes to meet Khalil, while Galel took care of Ama Didi who was injured. Marco, however, hid his scar with a muffler that was stitched by Talma a week ago. Although the day wasn't bright, the people of the valley felt a positive energy towards Marco, when he was walking by.
Zuleikha and her father, Mr. Jabbar have greeted Marco who was disguised as an honorable elite from abroad, perhaps from Turkey. His attire was so European-ish that these two showered some flowers by pouring them and chanting over 'dear foreign friend, welcome to our land'. Then, came Ronjon and Shyamoli who gave them sweets and a bouquet of flowers just like a bright and shining light coming on Meghpur, after a long time.
However, Yuan and Francis blessed Marco with blessings and prayers. It was such an honor that, Marco received it as Marcello after a long time. Unfortunately, they didn't even know his name, until Marco and the gang walked into Khalil's house. There, Shabnaz and Khalil showed up, the public left.
"Greetings my foreign friend, I think Mr. Wahid has done a great job, bringing you to Meghpur to visit our humble home" said Khalil with a joyful manner.
"Well, sir, I am Mahadi Istegar Shamnova Albashar from Istanbul, Turkiye. I have heard that Bangladesh has some of tzdhe bezst ghoszt sztories, ebver. However, I am here to wroite moy journal to knowz about the folklores of this kcoun-try and this village, if you permit me to" said Marco with a stereotypical Lebanese accent.
"Then you're in the right place, welcome to our home, be our guest!" greeted Khalil.
"Well, dear Mr. Mahadi, how long you've known this place?" asked Shabnaz.
"Tzwo years of research and here'z I am" replied Marco aka Mahadi.
Marco entered, followed by Wahid, Arshad, Talma and Arshi. Shabnaz, however tried to smirk on Mahadi, trying to seduce him. But Mr. Mahadi coughed and turned away as he had no time for flirting. Khalil, like a typical uncle was serving food and quite over-the-top than his otherwise, subtle yet solemn antics. He served them with a lot of Arabic food such as pilaf, roasted mutton, sautéed vegetables, large flatbreads and meatballs with a bit of a Bengali food such as fried fish, khichdi-lentil rice- and spicy mashed potatoes and sesames. Mahima was surprised to see the unlikely guest and was so childish that he shook hands like a child in wonder. Shabnaz introduced Mahima to Mahadi or Marco in disguise.
In the midst of the table, Wahid asked "who did all the arrangements?"
"Talma and I have informed Mr. Khalil" said Arshad.
However, Marco was looking at Shabnaz, leaving the table. It was more that, as Arshi suspected her, walking by sparing half of the food. She just followed her to the outside but couldn't find her. Suspense rose within and her heart was beating around the surface. Furthermore, she was about to walk far into the cool mist. Until, she looked at the back, Shabnaz said "are you looking for the toilet?"
"Aah...yes, ma'am" said Shabnaz.
Arshi walked in with relief. It was not only something to hold by because that eerie presence would not leave the scenario. However, she walked in and got into the toilet but still felt the shadowy whisper that was hissing like a snake. Somehow, she avoided it. Marco smelt the aura loud and his head tingled with danger and catastrophe that was about to come. Khalil looked at his eyebrow movement and his ominous expression.
"Any problem Mr. Mahadi?" asked Khalil.
"No...not a problem at all" said Marco/Mahadi.
"What happened to the elites today?" asked Arshad.
"They won't come, as they have their family holidays outside Meghpur" said Khalil.
On the other side, Mahima was quite enthusiastic about Turkey. That's why she innocently asked "how's the weather there in Turkey?"
"Itz quidte cold 'nd less humid at dthe same time" replied Mahadi.
"I've seen those cool masjids and some Greek ruins, although they're beautiful in the phone, how's the experience in real life?" said Mahima.
"The Sophia Masjid and Ephesus? The Sophia masjid may look beautiful and peaceful, but the Ephesus does have rough roads and cold demeanor, I do understand why it's the kind of a tourist place to roam around" said Mahadi.
"Mahima, enough now" ended Shabnaz.
After the feast was done, they just got into sleep except Marco. He started to examine the issues of what if Khalil or Shabnaz have suspected him over? Arshi followed him through a bookshelf in the living room. In Meghpur, night quickly approaches like a daylight saving. However, Marco started to explore the mansion through the shelf that had been opened by a vase made of ceramics. Then, a dark staircase was lurking near the window that was reflected by the moonlight. He got down along with Arshi a bit slowly.
For what he looked down, were a load of books involving black magic. Along with puzzles that had three signs such as the numbers, 6 and 9, with the infinity at the center of the ground. Marco and Arshi got shocked to know that their motives might be up to no good. Listening to the screeching sounds of the ghastly presence, they ran away quietly and got outside of Khalil's house.
Arshi took out her torch and pistol for safety. Marco said "Arshi, my dear daughter, use the perfume".
Without any questioning, she wore the perfume and sprayed at the surroundings. They've walked through the woods. The mist darkened in such a manner that it came cold. Even Marco's leather jacket couldn't control that shivering climate. Then, a white shirted man with the red eyes and on his neck, a scar of '6' arrived by grabbing its fingers, creeping upon the tree branches. Thankfully, Marco was covered with a muffler.
"Well...Well...Well...it's that the new guest that brings you here, Ms. Arshi! Where's your little friend, the journalist?" asked the ghost.
"STAY AWAY! HOW DARE YOU TO COME HERE?" screamed Arshi.
"Nice perfume, Inspector, at least you're a sharpshooter back in the school encounter" said the ghost.
"BUT YOU NEED TO FUCK OFF YOUR COZY TRICKS! YOU ARE THE ONE TO SPREAD BLOOD OF THE INNOCENTS! YOU HAVE ALSO FRACTURED AMA DIDI AND TRIED TO ASSAULT ME AGAINST THE LAW!" screamed back Arshi.
"Aaah, fuck off!" The ghost spitted off, with two baritone vocal.
Marco was silenced off and called Era. He drove the horse and chased the ghost, while Arshi stole Khalil's bike because she got it from the toilet. Khalil usually was careless of his bicycle keys, especially keeping in the basin beside the toilet. Anyway, both got all the way through the graveyard. More than that, they've entered the graveyard. Scattering through the broken gravestones, the duo had found a tree behind M. Azad's fake gravestone that was blurred at the last incident, when Wahid and Arshad met Shamsher.
Looking above, the ghost was at the treetop and crawling like a spider who just got down slowly as an animation. Arshi was shocked but Marco still didn't unveil his covered mouth. On the other hand, the ghost was spinning his neck to the core to scare both but they weren't, on the contrary. Upset, he positioned as his 'human' posture.
"Who are you? Are you the new priest in town? Why are you covering yourself as a bride? Show up! Be a man!" said the ghost.
"I would have said the same to you, you bastard!" snapped Marco.
"Unveil yourself" said the ghost.
Marco unveiled himself, with a confident smile. He was cozy and couldn't care for whatever the ghost's approach was. But it was mortified!
The ghost, M. Azad was shocked to look at the older version of himself for the first time.
