Ajayi was one of few Wakandans to venture outside of the safety of their country. He travelled to Greece, met a beautiful woman with whom he shared a brief relationship before he returned to his home and begin his job as an advisor to his old friend King T'Chaka. Almost a year later, Ajayi discovers a baby girl on his doorstep with a note explaining everything.

The woman he had met was no ordinary woman. She was actually Mnemosyne, the Greek Titaness of memory. His daughter was named Aia and the note warned Ajayi that she was not an ordinary girl.

For a long time, though, nothing happens, and Aia grows up as an ordinary girl. But it is once Aia begins to enter puberty, that the strange things Mnemosyne warned Ajayi about begin to make an appearance. It simply starts off as regular telepathy, but soon, this ability evolves till it is almost exclusively tailored to memories.

But like all things about Wakanda, Aia and her abilities are handled differently than they would have in the rest of the world. Her closest friends, T'Challa and Nakia, help her learn to control her abilities and use them to help others.

Now, Aia travels around Wakanda, helping her people. She remains good friends with those who helped her control her abilities, even after the death of her king and her best friend's rise into his place. When a man named Bucky Barnes is brought to Wakanda and placed into stasis, Aia is summoned.
