Keanu hardly got jealous, but whenever he saw you with his pal, Rob, those expressive thoughts were hard to keep down. It would start out with his fists slightly clenching along with his jaw. The thoughts of you falling for anybody but him caused him serious sorrow. He wanted you and nobody else. The problem? He would get extremely nervous around you, to the point where words fly straight out of his mind.

Tonight was a cast party he originally didn't want to attend, but when he heard you were going to be present, he didn't have to think twice. Rob on the other hand was rumored to not be there, unfortunately Keanu was told wrong when he arrived and noticed that Rob had already swooped in for your attention. He was charming and not a complete stuttering fool around you, which was what Keanu used as the aspect to compare himself to Rob when it came to you and him.

He didn't know, but you could easily sense his eyes all over you at the party, and you couldn't be more giddy about it. Keanu noticing you was what you aimed for from the beginning, and you were definitely getting it at the moment.

"Hello? Keanuuu? Earth to Keanu?" one of Keanu's buddies sang, snapping his fingers in front of his once zoned out friend. He followed Keanu's gaze and saw that he was still staring at her. "Wow, still staring at [Y/N] are you?"

"I can't help it." keanu claimed stubbornly, picking up his drink off the counter. "She's been with Rob all night and the party is supposed to end soon."

"Ask her out already!" his friend encouraged strongly. "We all know you want to Reeves, now go and do it! You know, before it's too late."

Keanu took one long gulp out of his drink and slammed it back down onto the counter with a courageous nod. His friend was right. Keanu turned around and began marching up toward you, which you immediately caught from the corner of your eye. Although Rob was talking, you look to the side and smile at the confident approach of Keanu. His face went from confident straight to a complete nervous wreck within seconds once he reached you.

"I-I...Oh wow...Um," keanu huffed, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. "you know what? I don't even care if you say no, [Y/N], would you like to go on a date with me?"

"More than anything Keanu!" you respond quickly and eagerly. You instantly realize your sudden excitement and tone it down. "I mean, uh, sure."
