Relationships was a funny thing, especially romantic ones. You couldn't remember the last time you had loved somebody, but frankly, you didn't want to recall those horrendous memories. To think that he was the one was what made you realize how gullible you really were back then. You had to admit, if it wasn't for him breaking your heart, it wouldn't have motivated you to start acting.

Your acting career skyrocketed the second you entered your first audition. It went from doing a commercial to starring with the heartthrob Keanu Reeves in the new movie, "The Matrix" it was incredible! What was more hilarious was that Keanu Reeves was your ex-boyfriends favorite actor. At first, it was surreal that you were shooting a movie, but working with Keanu Reeves was a whole other concept.

He definitely was likeable, there was no way around it. From the moment you met him, he was charming, friendly and such a gentleman. It was the exact impression that your ex-boyfriend gave you when you first met him. You knew that Keanu was a big star, loved by many, which was why it wouldn't hurt if you didn't take the time to praise him. You kept it to yourself. Your feelings. Your thoughts about him. Everything

You couldn't let your guard down, not again. You knew if you let another man in, it would just be the same exact thing all over again. You didn't want your heart broken again. If anything, you wanted to be the heart breaker, even if it meant breaking the heart of a man who had a big one. Keanu has invited you out to eat, parties and even just to hang out.

He wanted to get to know his co-star, but every single time you gave an excuse. Excuse after excuse, Keanu started to become suspicious with them. Even a simple lunch with him on lunch break was something you would deny. As much as he wanted to get close to you, you didn't want to get close to him. The risk of falling for him would only result in getting your heart broken the next day.

Lately, Keanu had been realizing that after ever shoot, you would just scurry off to your trailer. You wouldn't talk to anybody or interact with anyone. He made a plan that after this certain shoot, on snack break, he was going to talk to you and double check if you were okay. He knew that you were probably going to ignore him and walk away, but he wanted to uncover you. You were a mystery he was willing to unfold.

"CUT!!!"

The director threw off his headphones, calling the normal ten minutes snack break while jogging up to some of the actors on set.

"Great work [Y/N]!" keanu complimented, reaching out to pat you on the shoulder. You were quick enough and pulled away before he could even touch you. He awkwardly pulled his hand back to himself and shoved it into his pocket. "So um, I was going to catch a movie after today's shoot and I was wondering if—"

His intentions were correct as you just ignored him and walked straight off the set without acknowledging him once. Keanu cleared his throat and briskly walked after you, catching up moments later. You were heading toward the snack bar where your favorite doughnuts were displayed. Keanu kept rambling on to you but you just kept your focus on the food as you reached the table of deliciousness.

You reached for the last glazed doughnut in front of you, only to abruptly interrupted by the hand of Keanu swiping it before you could get to it. Your eyes widened and you snapped them toward your black-haired co-star. He held it close to him and narrowed his eyes at you.

"Now that I've got your attention, I have one question for you [Y/N]," keanu sneered, staring at your intensely. "Why don't you like me?"

"I never said that." you briefly pointed out, reaching out for the doughnut, but Keanu beat you to it and quickly moved it away from you. You sighed and rolled your eyes. "Come on man, that's the last one."

"Glaze happens to be my favorite doughnut as well," keanu claimed, breaking it in half. "but since I like you, I'll split it."

He handed you the other half with a friendly smile. You remained quiet and took the other half of the treat from him.

"Does that mean you like me now?"

You smirked and leaned in to place a light peck upon his cheek, causing him to fall completely red. The second after from the soft kiss, you sped off to your trailer, feeling your face begin to heat up from embarrassment. You couldn't help it, Keanu was being too cute. You knew that you kept telling yourself that you weren't going to fall, but yet here you were. You had fallen for him.
