Rose walks toward me and yanks me up from the ground. "I just want to make one thing clear. Emmett is MINE. He will always be MINE!" She yells at me. "I don't even know what your talking about. I don't want Emmett. I have Jacob." I cried out. Her hard hand slaps across my face. My cheek burns where she hit me. "Listen to me you filthy whore. If you ever come near Emmett again. Hell if you even think about him you will regret it." Rose starts to wrap her cold hands around my throat. I reach for something. I feel a metal rod and hit Rose in the head with it. She release me and I quickly get up. "Look nothing is going on with me and Emmett! I barely even know him!" I yell. "Your a liar. I've seen the way he looks at you." She snarls. "Why do you hate me so much? You don't even know me?!" I question her. "I know you hang out with those mutts! You can't be trusted!" She hollers as she comes towards me again. I hit her with the rod again. She falls to the ground. I turn to run into the house but she grabs my arm. "Your not getting away that easily." She snarls. She tosses me back on the ground. She runs towards me again. Before she can touch me again a police car pulls up. "Roseline Cullen! What do you think your doing?!" A voice yells. I recognize that voice. It's Chief Swan. Thank God. "Hey your the new girl Bella was talking about. Did she do this to you?" He asks. I nod. "Roseline Cullen your under arrest for assault and trespassing. You have the right to remain silent..." Chief Swan puts her in cuffs and leads her away to his car. Not a minute later Jake pulls up. "Abby what happened?" He yells. I sit him down on my porch steps and explain what happened. "That stupid blood sucker. She's gonna pay for what she's done. This is a violation of the treaty!" Jake yells. I rub my hand over where she smacked me. "That's gonna leave a bruise."He says. "ABBY HONEY ARE YOU OK?!" Aunt M yells as she runs outside. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know that girl was here. By the time I did the neighbors already called the police." She says. "It's ok Auntie." I say. "Oh hello Jacob. I didn't know you were here. I'm sure Abby would feel safe if you spent the night. So how about it?" She asks. Jake nods. "I totally agree." He says. She nods and goes inside to call Mr. Black to fill him in and let him know Jake is staying. "Don't worry babe. I'll take care of the vampire barbie." He says. I crack a small grin. "I'll try to set up a meeting with the Cullens try to get this settled." He says. I stand up and hug him. I start to cry a little. "It's alright baby. I will never let anything happen to you." Jakes warm embrace is comforting. I'm so glad I moved here. I finally found my soul mate
