Jake and I have been on our honeymoon for a month. That's pretty long I know but Jake wanted to spend some quality time with me. We've been busy **wink wink**. Anyway I suddenly got a craving for chocolate, pop tarts, and frech fries so Jake went to the store to get those items. 'Why am I so hungry?' I ask myself. I'm never this hungry. Looking in the cabinet I find bread and penut butter. So I decide to make a sandwich. Suddenly I feel something in my stomach. I run to the bathroom and throw up. "Oh God." I say. Then I start to put two and two together. I go look in my things. I find a pregnancy test in there. "Mom." I say. I run to the bathroom to do the test. I wait eagerly. Then Jake comes back. "Babe where are you?" He asks. "In here." He comes into the bathroom. "Hey I got your stuff..... is that a." "Pregnancy test yeah it is." I look down at the test. "I'm pregnant Jake." I say. "That's wonderful. You wanna go to the doctor just in case." He suggests. He takes me to the local doctor. They made me do another pregnancy test. Jake and I sit in a room for like an hour before a doctor comes in. "Hello." She says. "So.. am I pregnant?" I ask her. "Yes you are. Your a month along. Congratulations." She then leaves. Jake scoops me up. "I'm gonna be a dad." He says. I giggle. "You want to go home?" I ask. He nods. We go back to the cottage and gather our things and leave. "How's everyone gonna take this?" I ask. "The pack will be excited. I'm sure everyone else will be happy." Jake says. "I hope it's a boy." I say. "Me too." By the time we get home its like 6 in the evening. Our first stop is Mr. Black's house. He was very happy. This was his first grandchild after all. Next we went to Emily's house. Luck for us the whole pack was there. Jake told them we had something to say. "I'm pregnant." I tell them. Screams fill the air. Emily and Leah wrap me into a hug. "I'm so happy for you. Now I'll have a little niece or nephew to play with." Emily said. Oh I'm so excited.
**4 months later**
I'm 5 months pregnant and it kinda sucks. My hormones are out of wack. But it's all going to be worth it. My belly is starting to show. I'm not huge at least not yet. I'm eager to know what the gender of my baby is. At my last check up my doctor said she can determine the gender when I'm 5 months along. I always thought it was 6 months. Oh well she's the doctor not me. Come to think of it Jake and I find that out today. I just have to wait for him to get back from patrol with the pack. He left me at Emily's with Emily and Leah. We talk about the baby. "I think it'll be a boy." Emily says. "I hope so. I really want it to be a boy. But as long as it's healthy that's all that matters." I say. "After we find out Jake and I are coming back here to tell you guys." I say. Leah comes up and sits beside me. She stares at my belly. "It'll be nice to have a new member around here. " She says. I smile. Jake walks in with Sam and Seth. I walk over to him. "Hey babe." He says. He bends down and kisses my belly. I giggle. Jake and I head to the doctor. A nurse leads us to the ultrasound room. She puts that jelly stuff on my stomach. Ga that's cold! After a couple minutes the nurse finally says. "Well it looks like you two are having..... a baby boy." I smile. Jake kisses me. We head straight back to Emily's house. When we walk in everyone is standing around waiting. "Well." Sam says. "It's a boy." I say. Screams fill the room. Jake and I sit on the couch. He rubs my belly. Just think in 4 more months we'll have a baby boy. Our child. Our sweet little child.
