I jerk out of my sleep. I look around and see Jake sitting in a chair. "Good morning." Jake said. "Morin. Umm babe where's our son?" I ask. "Oh the nurses have him." He says. I hear the cries of a baby. I can tell that those are my son's cries. "What are they doing to him?" I ask. "He's fine babe. There doing a circumcision." I raise an eyebrow. "The hell is that?" I ask. "Seriously hun?" He asks. "Seriously now what are they doing to my baby?" I ask. He whispers into my ear. I'm shocked. "Oh my God! They can't do that to him!" I yell. Aiden 's cries get louder. "Jake thier hurting my baby go get him!" I yell. "Babe it's ok. They do that with all baby boys." He tries to tell me but I don't listen. The nurse comes in with my son. "Here ya go." She says as she hands him to Jake. "Give me my baby." I say. "My poor baby." I say kissing Aiden 's head. Jake rolls his eyes. "How was he last night?" I ask Jake. "He was good. He hardly ever cries. He's a heavy sleeper like me." I smile. "The doc says we can take him home day after tomorrow. They also said Aiden is perfectly healthy." Jake says. We get a visit from the Cullens. Alice is the first to hold Aiden. "Oh he's so cute!" She cried out. "Congratulations you two." Emmett says. "We have to be going now but I hope we see you three again soon." Carlisle says as they leave. Then we get an unexpected visit from my parents. "I didn't think you guys would be able to come up here!" I said. "We wanted to meet our first grandson." My mom says as she takes Aiden from me. After they leave I decide to attempt to take a nap. Sitting in this bed all day makes me sleepy. I'm almost asleep when I hear Jake talking to Aiden. "Hey little buddy. Daddy has to tell you about someone very special. She's kind, sweet and loving. She gives the best hugs and kisses. You could say she's the light of my life. You call her mommy. And I just know me you and her will have some fun times together. And who knows in the future she might give you a little brother or sister." He says. I sit up. "Awwww Jakie that was beautiful." I say. He walks over to me. "It was true." He says as he kisses my head. Aiden makes a little noise. "What did you want a kiss too?" Jake asks Aiden. Jake gives Aiden a little kiss on the head. My life is so good.
**brining the baby home**
Today is the day we bring Aiden home. For a newborn he hardly ever cries. The only time he does is when he's hungry or needs to be changed. He usually sleeps through the night. Like Jake said he's a heavy sleeper. He looks so tiny in his car seat. We stop by Mr. Black's first. When he sees Aiden he almost bursts into tears. After we leave there we head to our house. "Welcome home son." Jake says as I take Aiden in the house. I get him out of his car seat. Jake wraps his arms around my waist. We look in the mirror. "Look at us Jake. We're a family." "Yeah I guess we are. One big happy family. The three of us. I love you." He says. "I love you both." "We love you to Jake or should I say Daddy."
