I hate being sick. I absolutely 100 % hate it. Especially when I'm throwing up. It's was about 4 am and I was awaken by a sharp pain in my stomach. I decide to go to the bathroom. I wet a wash cloth and wipe my face off. Then I get that feeling in my stomach. I feel something in my throat. The next thing I know I'm bent over the toilet puking my guts out. Oh it hurts. I don't even have the strength to stand up. "Babe what are you doing?" I year Jake asks in a sleepy voice. "I just threw up." I choke out. Jake runs to my side. "Are you ok?" Jake asks fully awake. I nod my head. He picks me up bridal style and carries me to the bed. He places his hand on my forehead. "Your burning up babe." Jake says. "I'll get Seth and Leah to take Aiden to thier mom's when they wake up." I just nod my head too weak to speak. "Get some rest I'm right here." He says. My eyes slammed shut. I woke up at 8 am and I hear Aiden crying. I jump out of bed and run to get him. But I'm stopped by my husband. "And where do you think your going Mrs. Black?" He ask in the sweetest tone possible. "To get my baby." I say weakly. "Seth and Leah have him their headed to Sue's." Jake says sitting my down on the bed. He grabs my slippers and puts them down at my feet. "I'm taking you to the doctor." Jake says plainly. Thankfully there's not many people at the doctors. After about 10 minutes of waiting the nurse calls us back. She takes my temperature and my blood pressure all that jazz. "Dr Cullen will be with you in just a moment." She says walking out of the door. "I'm dying." I say. "No your not you just feel like it." Jake says. I hold my arms out for him to come and pet me. He comes over and wraps his arms around my neck. "Good morning." Carlisle says coming into the room. "Hi Carlisle." I say. He's not even in the room 5 minutes and he diagnosis me. "Well you have a 24 hour stomach bug. I'll prescribe you some antibiotics. You should be feeling better in a few days." He says. "Thank you Carlisle." I thank him. He smiles and leaves the room. "Can you call Sue and see if Seth and Leah want to stay over there with Aiden tonight? I don't want them to catch this." I ask Jake. "It's already done baby. Let's get your meds and go home." I nod in agreement. When we get home I go straight into my bedroom. "Jake you should go stay with your dad. I don't want you to catch this too." I say. "And leave my poor wife to take care of herself while she's sick. No." He says. I smile. "Through sickness and in health remember?" He asks. "Yes I remember." I say laying down in bed. Jake goes into the kitchen and gets my meds. He hands me two pills. "Here take this." He says handing the medicine. I swallow the pills and lay back in bed. Jake kisses my head and goes into the living room. My eyes slowly start to shut and I fall into silent slumber. I wake up a few hours later starving and thirsting to death. "Jake. Can you come here please!" I call out. He walks into our room. "Yes how may I help you?" He asks. "Can you please get me something to drink and I'm hungry but I don't think I can keep anything down." I say. "Sure hon. You can try to eat some soup but if you don't think you can it's ok." Jake says walking out of the room. He comes back with a blue Gatorade and some chicken noodle soup. "That you honey." I say. "Your welcome babe." He says kissing my temple. Either I was starving or that soup was really good. I scarf down that and drink about half of my drink. I take some more of my medicine.  I decide to get up and take a shower. Usually I like to take a hot shower but I didn't want to make myself sick again so I use lukewarm water. Even thought I'm sick I'm still gonna take a shower. I can't stand to be without one. After I get out I put on a fresh pair of pajamas. I go into the living room and find Jake passed out cold on the couch. I chuckle to myself and throw a blanket over him. "Sweet dreams love." I say walking back into my room. Slowly but surely I start to fall back asleep myself. I just hope I feel better soon.
