The weeks have rolled by and nothing has happened. I guess the felling I had was wrong. Riley will be starting school at the Rez high school soon. That's always fun. Riley is getting better. She rarely has nightmares anymore. I'm thankful for the progress she's made. Things are good for once. I've been helping Emily out around her house. She's been sick a lot lately with morning sickness. I try to help her in anyway I can. I'm so excited for the new baby. Aiden will finally have a playmate, besides the pack I mean, another kid. Anyhow, I'm currently helping Emily make dinner. Seth and Riley are sitting on the couch with Aiden watching cartoons. Jake and the guys are outside doing something. "Hey guys what's up?" Leah asks as she walks in. "Nothing much Leah you?" I asked putting the dessert in the oven. "Nothing just came by to see my nephew." She said as she took Aiden in her arms. Aiden giggles as Leah hugs him. She sits down beside Riley on the couch. After dinner is done I help Emily set the table. After that's done I go out on the porch to call the guys in. "Guys dinners ready!" I yell. Jake comes on porch and wraps his arms around my waist. "What's cooking babe?" He asks. "Food." I said sarcastically. "Smart ass." He says. "But I'm your smart ass." I said as I hugged him. Everything was going well until Paul got into a teasing mood. "So Riley has Seth asked you out yet." He asks. I almost choke on the pasta I was eating. Seth's face went deep red. "Umm no. No he hasn't." Riley asks with a hint on embarrassment on her face. I growl as Paul goes to open his mouth again. He smirks and closes his mouth. "Did you just growl sissy?" Riley asks. "Huh? Oh I don't think so." I said all too quick. Riley still doesn't know about the whole werewolf thing. I intend on telling her just not right now. As everyone finishes eating I help Emily with the dishes. I could tell she's felling worn out so I tell her I can finish up so she can sit down. I go to put the very last dish up when suddenly my feet slip out from under me. I crash onto the floor with the plate. I felt a stinging sensation in my hand. When I looked down I saw that the palm of my hand was bleeding. "Baby are you ok?!" Jake asked helping me off of the floor. When he sees my hand he goes into full panic mode. "Seth get the first aid kit." Jake ordered. "Please." I added. Sam started to clean up the broken plate. "Sorry Sam." I said. "Don't worry about it Abby it was an accident." He said. I felt a sting in my hand. Jake had started wrapping my hand in a bandage. "Ow Jake." I said trying to jerk my hand away. "I'm sorry baby." He said as he finished putting the bandage on. Aiden makes his way into the kitchen. He sees my bandaged hand and frowns. "Mama hurt?" He asks. "Mama got a little cut baby." Riley said picking him up. "Your mama is a klutz Aiden." Embry said. "Klutz!" Aiden shouted pointing at me. "Shut up Embryo!" I yelled. Everyone laughed even Embry. Aiden reached for me and Riley handed him to me. We walked back into the living room and sat on the couch. An hour later Aiden is asleep in my lap. I noticed everyone else was outside but us. I carefully laid Aiden on the couch. Jake and I went outside with the others. I noticed that Seth and Paul were arguing. What they were arguing about I have no idea but it was getting ugly. Without warning Paul phased. Riley with wide eyes fell to the ground. Before I knew it I was beside her. I quickly picked her up and took her back to the house. I turned back around to see both Seth and Paul fighting in their wolf form. "Sissy what's going on?" Riley asked me. "You know the stories grandma used to tell us about the Quileutes? How they're shape shifters? Well there true." I said. The look on her face was more shock than fear. When I turned back around Jake had phased and was trying to break up Seth and Paul to no avail. "Oh that is it!" I yell as I run towards them. I shift and jump on top of Seth and Paul. 'Listen! Stop this crap this instant or so help me I will rip both of your heads off! Understand?!' I yell at them through our thoughts. 'Yes ma'am.' They both whimper. 'Now Jake and I are going to run home and get some clothes. Will you please behave while I'm gone? Oh and ask Riley to watch Aiden until we get back?' I asked. "We've got it covered Abs." Quil assured me. 'Wow babe your hot when your angry.' Jake said. 'Thanks.' I said running off towards my house. When I got to the house I quickly shifted back and opened the front door. I ran up the stairs and into my bedroom. As I put on my clothes I feel a pair of hands wrap around my waist. Jake places small kisses on my shoulders. He slowly makes his way up to my neck. "Jake not right now." I said playfully pushing him away. He begins to pout. "Hey I never said we wouldn't do it. Just not right now." I said reassuring him. A grin forms across his face. "Later then baby?" He asks. "Later Jakey." I said pressing my lips up against his. "Come on let's get back to Emily's." I said as I walked out of the bedroom and out the front door. Jake comes beside me and puts my hand with his. What a night this will be.
