It'd been the third time in a minutes that you looked over at him, smile, and then look away while fidgeting with something in your bag.

Something was up.

"(Name)..." He trailed off, hoping that you would leave good enough alone.

"Ace, you like playing cards, yes?"

He went silent for a second, judging the feline smirk on your face and the glimmer in your eyes, he knew that this couldn't possibly end well. Then again, ignoring you would just make things worse for him in the long run.

"They are my main weapon."

"Well. I happen to have a very nice deck of cards here." You pulled out a deck of cards with a decorative red bow on top. "Happy early birthday."

"(Name)... My birthday is in a month."

"No, come on, you gotta open it!"

"I'd rather not-"

"Open it and take a nice good look Ace. Do it or else I'll yell Oedipus Complex [1] every time I see you."

Ace glared at you but opened the deck of cards. Ironically the first card he pulled out was the Ace of Hearts.

And it had a picture on it.

A picture of him winking.

"A Class Zero themed deck of cards. I didn't make it, but I wish I did, it's like all sold out," you said while rubbing your chin thoughtfully.

"How did you even..." Ace trailed off as he saw the Queen of Hearts, with Queen "accidentally" flashing everyone [2]. He closed the deck and shook his head. "I'm confiscating this."

"It was your gift anyways."

"Then I'm destroying it."

"That's hurtful I had to stand in a long ass line to get you that!"
