No shiny gems.

No fancy dresses.

No forced formalities.

Just sweet and fleeting kisses on his cheek.

Just warm embraces and intertwined hands.

Just loving words and whispered promises in his ear.

Nothing about you seemed aristocratic and nothing about him seemed commonplace.

But when your hearts met; he found something he lost when his mother passed.

In every kiss, touch, and promise.

You would stand by his side for the man he is; not for the things he had.

For that, he would stand by your side until the end of time.

And that's all there was to it. 

ღ✎Authoress's Noteღ✎: So this was actually 100 words, believe it or not. THAT'S RIGHT EVERYONE I WROTE AN AUTHENTIC DRABBLE. This only happened because I was talking with my lovely pal @MizzGinger and we were both like, we can't write drabbles to save our lives! So this is part of a little thing we had going on to try and give drabbles meaning, even in the tight word frame. I challenge everyone to try this, because it forces you to write in a bare minimum and choose your words carefully (feel free to link me down below in the comments) AND PLEASE TELL ME HOW I DID LOVES SINCE I CAN NEVER WRITE IN SUCH A SHORT WORD COUNT WITHOUT FEELING LIKE I'M MISSING SOMETHING. (This note is probably the length of the drabble to be honest).
