A/N

Ok Ok so I know that this is in the beginning but I just wanted to say... YAAAYY!! I am finally free of my summer job, slightly sad, and I should have some time before school starts to do some chapters!! PLUS!! I have a new laptop YAY!! so no more having to make chapters on my phone, IKR unbelievable that this whole time all my chapters were on my phone lol. anyhoo!! ONTO THE STORY!!

~~~"His" POV~~~

I sat there. Waiting. Why? Well I was waiting for "her". Who is she you ask? Her name is Y/N, sure I don't know her face to face, but her and her friend always come down to this tree and just.. talk. At first I didn't like her and wanted her gone, but after I kind of got to know her, from them talking, I was interested in her. Why didn't I show myself to her? Well here's another question, If a monster made of pure darkness just randomly showed up what would you do? Scream obviously. So this is what I am basically doing. Just waiting for her to show up today. I was about to take a nap when I heard some noise. The sound of footsteps on grass.

I sit up and look to where the sound is coming. 'Probably another thief trying to take the apples.' I think and ready a bone attack when I see her appear over the hill, my eyes widen, then go into a frown. 'Strange, she usually isn't here at this time and where is her friend?' I think and make the bone disappear. She looks happy to see the tree in sight, but it quickly changes to sadness. 'Odd.' I think then I notice a large thick rope in her hands. She shrugs for some reason then sits by the tree, her back to me, and starts doing something with the rope, it's obvious because of the chains on her wrists, I never knew why she had them.

I go down to a lower branch slowly to get a closer look. Once I am able to see her face and what she's doing, It's clear she is tying a noose, her face and the type of knot makes it clear she is ending it today. I knew this was coming sooner or later because of how her family treats her but I didn't expect it to be this early. I sigh in annoyance, I thought I would have more time to attempt to approach her, guess I won't be able to now. 'Or maybe..'

I sit and watch her. 'What if I approached her before she can..' I think and notice her chuckling to herself and starts to say something. I quickly use my tentacles to listen to the rest. Once I am able to hear what she's saying I realize she is wishing something. I widen my eyes at it and stare at her face. Her eyes show how empty she is. I frown, she usually isn't like this, what's wrong with her today? What happened in the world that made her this empty?

As I start thinking of reasons as to what happened I barely notice her get up. I quickly use my tentacles to get back up the tree and watch her. She starts climbing the tree up to the branch beside mine. Her back to me I can tell she is tying the other end of the rope to the branch. She put's the noose on her neck. My eyes widen. 

'Shit it's now or never!'

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I blurt out and almost facepalm myself. She freezes. 'At least it got her attention.' I think. Sweat beads roll down my face. She looks around, but not behind her. Then she laughs dryly.

"Must be hearing things." She almost mumbles and puts a foot out in front of her. I panic.

"Wait! Wait! look behind you!" I almost yell. She freezes again, but brings her foot back and looks behind her.

Her eyes show confusion and I facepalm. 'I forgot this stupid curse.'

"Who's there?" she asks.

"O-okay, so listen. I just now realized you can't see me and there is only one way to see me." I say and facepalm again for stuttering. She narrows her eyes, clearly not believing me.

"And how do I know your actually real and not some type of prank?" She asks.

"Because.. Because..." 'Shit she's got me there!' She sighs in frustration and mumbles something and puts a foot in front of herself. 'Shit, shit, shit, shit, Shit, Shit, SHIT, SHIT!' I think as she falls to her clear doom.

I panic and use my magic to hold her up. I sigh in relief but notice she is confused. 'At least she's safe.' I think and jump onto the branch with the noose. "Hey! I don't know who you think you are but let me go!" She says thrashing around in my magic. I can see her crying, she's serious, but I'm not about to let her go.

"Heh, Sorry kid. Can't seem to do that." I say and summon a sharp ended bone. I sit on the branch and start cutting the rope on the tree. She continued to flail about asking me to release her, almost begging me at times. Every word she says send a wave of anger, not at her no, but at the world around her. I soon get the rope cut and smile to myself then look down at her. "Okay kiddo, I'm going to let you down, but don't run away. Please." I say cutting off her ranting.

She looks up, but not at me exactly, and nods. I slowly let her down and rested her on the ground gently. I quickly used my magic to take the noose off her head and put it into my hand. She was clearly confused at this. "Why is the noose floating in the tree?" She said quickly. I chuckled and put a hand behind my neck.

"That's where I am, but anyways eat one of the apples it might help to see who exactly your talking to." I said and used on of my tentacles to shake a branch. An apple fell down, but it wasn't gold. No it was one of mine, yet the humans couldn't see that they thought the apples were gold, no they were black and would kill any human that would steal them. That is unless the apple fell down, which they don't normally.

She walked over to the apple and grabbed it. She gave a questionable look to my direction then back at the apple and repeated this a few times before finally sighing. Then she took a bite. She dropped the apple and grabbed her head. I stood up quickly and used my tentacle to get on the branch above her. "Are you okay?!" I said and she nodded.

"Y-Yeah, just got a head-" She cut herself off when she looked at the apple and pointed at it. "W-What happened to it's- It-It was gold what hap-" She cut herself off again as she looked up to where I was. Her eyes widened. 'Shit don't scream, don't scream, don't scream.' I thought to myself and gave a weak smile.

"Heh Heh, uh, hi?" I waved nervously. I could feel the sweat drop off my skull. She takes a step back, her eyes are locked on me causing mine to try and avoid her gaze, My hand drops. 'What is she thinking, does she hate me? Just-' My thoughts are cut off as she starts to fall forward, then I realize. She fainted.

Another A/N!!

Ok let me just say I didn't mean to publish this earlier!! My laptop did something and I freaked and and!! yeah... anyways so you must be confused as to why Nightmare is pretty much nice, well it has to do with his 'Curse' I'll tell why he is cursed next update, but because of it he was stuck unable to leave the apple tree and since no one ever went up to it, unless they told their wish, then he was basically was all alone. He soon forgot how to be mean and just wanted someone to talk to, then you and your friend showed up! YAAY!! the rest I shall explain next chapter. Woo!! so yeah, again sorry for an early publish I'm not exactly used to this laptop -shrugs- ANYWAYS!!! I hope you like this chapter and the story so far!! Cause I sure am excited for this one -w-
