~~~Your POV~~~

I stared at Dream in disbelieve. 'Kiss him!?' My mind screamed. A groan cut off my thoughts as we looked down to see Nightmare moving about.

"Ugh, my head. What happened?" I heard him mumble. His eyes shot open. "Y/N!" He yelled and sat up quickly. He looked around frantically until he spotted me. "Y/N! Are you okay!? What happened?" He said and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Hey! Hey! Your dusting me!" Temmie yelled making Nightmare release me and look at the small dog.

"Don't worry Nightmare, we're fine. Dream came and helped us." I said indicating to the brighter skeleton. Nightmare looked over at Dream with wide eyes.

"You actually came." He mumbled then hugged Dream tightly. "Thank you." He whispered.

"I hate to interrupt the hug fest, but I think it's best we get going if we are to leave here safely." Temmie said, after a few minutes, catching all of our attentions. Nightmare released Dream from his death hug and glared at the small dog.

"I agree with Temmie, Nightmare. I should be heading back to the Dreamscape anyways." Dream said and stood up. Nightmare looked at him wide eyed. "I also allowed you to be seen by other monsters now." Dream said and started walking off. "And don't forget to follow your heart brother!" He said and disappeared in a yellow light.

I smiled lightly and looked over at Nightmare. "Ready?" I asked. He nodded still staring at where Dream once stood. I took his hand and pulled his hand up. "Come on Nightmare, you know that isn't the last we have seen your brother." I said, he looked over at me and smiled.

"I guess not, let's go. The core should be coming up here soon." Nightmare said and we continued our journey.

~(Time Skip brought to you by I don't even know anymore -shrug-)~

"AAAHHH!!" I shrieked and held Temmie tightly as we were thrown over the lava once more.

"Gotcha!" Nightmare said as he caught me. Again. He set me down next to him. "Now this should be the last elevator and we should reach Napstaton's hotel." Nightmare said as we entered the elevator. I noticed we hadn't seen many monsters, and if we did they would run away. Probably from Nightmare's look.

The elevator soon came to a stop and opened the door with a Ding. We exited and continued to the next puzzle. I stood on the vent and it blasted me to the next piece of land. Nightmare landed next to me and we continued onto the next vent.

This happened for a while until we were finally on the next hallway like piece of land. I stood there for a second, trying to contain my dizzyness, as Nightmare landed next to me.

"Hey you okay?" He asked as I put a hand on his shoulder and leaned onto it.

"Y-Yeah. Just a bit dizzy." I chuckled nervously. Once the dizzyness subsided I started walking a bit. "Come on." I said with a smile, he smiled back and we continued on.

"Hey look a cave!" I said pointing to the hole in the wall.

"I don't think we should go there." Temmie said and shrunk down into my chest.

"Don't worry Temmie, we'll be fine. Right Nightmare?" I asked.

"Yeah, nothing can beat the magnificent Sans!" He said and did a heroic pose. I giggled at his adorableness making him blush a bright blue. "Come on now." He said and we entered the cave.

"Wow, is it hot in here or is it just me?" I joked.

"I-I don't think i-i-it's just you." Temmie stuttered and Nightmare stopped in front of me. I looked past Nightmare and saw something I would've thought never existed.

"Is that guy on fire!?" I asked out loud, getting the fire guy's attention, he was a bright pink color with a suit. Both Nightmare and Temmie gave me a slight glare. "Sorry." I mumbled. The fire guy had started to slowly walk towards us. Nightmare stood in front of me protectively while Temmie started to tremble in my arms.

"Well, well. What do we have here?" A smooth, yet dark, voice said cutting the dreary silence. It was obviously the fire guy's voice, he stopped a good couple feet away from us. "A.. skeleton? A mangy mutt, and.. Oh? A human.." The fire guy said trailing off and gave an evil smile.

"Leave us be and let us through, and no one get's hurt." Nightmare said in a threatening tone.

"Oh?" The fire guy said and tilted his head to the side. "And why would I allow that? You guys haven't even had any food. Me being a gracious host shall help with that." The fire guy said and snapped his fingers.

The room instantly lit up into a scorching fire. My eyes instantly scrunched up at the new and unwanted light.

"Now then, OH! How horrid of me, I never gave my name." The fire guy said, I was squinting at him, trying to get used to the light. "The name is Grillby," He said taking a bow, by now my eyes were slowly adjusted and I could see him without squinting much. "And today we are serving." He looked up with a sadistic grin. "Human SOUL." He said and a fight started.

Nightmare stood in front of me as my SOUL came out. Temmie jumped out of my arms and stood alongside Nightmare, making me surprised. "Let us through Grillby!" Nightmare yelled at Grillby, who just gave a wicked smile.

"I think not. Now how's about a small sample aye?" He asked and a circle of flames surrounded the three of us.

"Temmie!"

"Right!"

The two said to each other and a mixture of Temmie flakes and Gaster Blasters surrounded us, protecting us from the flames.

"You've got one more chance Grillby. Let us through!" Nightmare yelled as all the attacks dispersed.

"Oh? But what would be the fun in that now?" Grillby asked and summoned more flames. The flames started coming at us, both Temmie and Nightmare had formed in order to block the attacks.

"Grillby!" A voice boomed causing the pink flames attacks to stop abruptly.

"Damnit." He mumbled and turned to the voice behind him. "Ah, Alphys. A pleasure to see you, how may I-"

"What are you doing? Your not supposed to eat the humans SOUL, you're supposed to kill it and take it's SOUL to queen Toriel!" 'Alphys' Yelled.

"My dearest apologies Alphys. I will take the humans-"

"NO!" She interrupted him once more, "You will allow the human through. I wish to take it on. A one-on-one match if you will." She said.

"But Alph-"

"I said let them through!" She yelled. "I will be waiting human!" She yelled again and left with an evil laugh.

Grillby huffed in annoyance before snapping his fingers once more. All the flames left and he glared at the three of us. "You are free to go, but be warned, Alphys is a lost stronger than I am." He said and walked off in a random direction.

A/N

Well I was at first going to make this a chapter about Napstaton(??) and how he was going to try and stop you, but I decided to say FUCK IT! and made it about Grillby, and personally. I like his character x3. Anyways, I'm going to go make some sammiches, maybe update 'Forced Resets' and hang about in my house reading Homestuck fanfiction. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and the story so far! =D
