~~~Your POV~~~

I followed the councilor to the office, hand in hand with Nightmare. It helped calm me down a bit and stopped my crying, but now I was scared as to what was going to happen now. 'Are they going to give me detention? Isap?' I thought. I knew it wasn't that bad, but boy were my parents going to be pissed. I felt Nightmare's hand squeeze mine again in reassurance. I looked at him with a sad smile and squeezed back.

We soon reached the office door. The councilor opened the door and allowed me to enter first. I instead allowed Nightmare to enter first, followed by me, then the councilor. We walked down the hall and into another room. 'Most likely his office.' I thought. He entered first this time.

"Take a seat Ms. L/N." He instructed. I sat down in one of the big cushion chairs across from his desk. Nightmare sat next to me in the other one and let go of my hand. "Ms. L/N can you please explain to me what happened in the cafeteria earlier?" The councilor asked making me and Nightmare look at him.

"W-Well, I was sitting by myself, about to start eating my lunch, when Shawn came up and told me to give him my lunch. I told him 'no' that it was my lunch, but he just threw me to the ground and stole it. Then he punched me in the stomach. I don't really know what happened next. I think my foot caught his and he tripped. He got up and smacked me twice, then grabbed me by the throat when he just randomly stopped." I lied, hoping he would buy it.

"Well Ms. L/N, seeing as you tripped a student, causing him to break his nose, we are going to have to give you a bigger punishment." The councilor said plainly.

"What?" I asked in disbelieve.

"You caused blood to spill, you have to get a bigger punishment. It's as simple as that. That doesn't mean Mr. Conner won't be in trouble, it just means you are getting a bigger punishment."

"NO!" I said standing up suddenly. "That isn't fair! He started it! Shouldn't he get punished far worse than me?"

"You know the school rules Ms. L/N. It doesn't matter who started it, if blood is spilled than whoever caused it gets a worse punishment." He said with a blank expression. "Now as for your punishment. You're being suspended for 3 weeks." He said making my eyes widen.

I opened my mouth and started staring at anything but him. I sat down slowly. "Suspended?" I asked myself.

"Yes Ms. L/N, for 3 weeks. We will contact your parents about it and you will spend the rest of the day in Isap. Is that clear?" He asked me, I just nodded not wanting to respond to him. "Good, now I will give you a note to get a new lunch, but after you get it go get your stuff and head straight to Isap. Okay?" I nodded again and he started writing the note. He handed me the note, I got up and left the room, not even looking at Nightmare.

I was sitting there in Isap dead quiet. I had gotten another tray of chicken, but didn't touch it at all. I even left my stuff at my last classroom, knowing it would be brought to me either way. I sighed and put my head on the desk.

"Hey, are you okay?" I heard Nightmare ask. I shook my head 'no'. "D-Do you wanna hear a joke?" He asked. I again shook my head.

He paused, making me look over to him from the desk.

My eyes widened to see he was teary-eyed. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt him that bad. I didn't mean to make you upset!" He said and hugged me instantly, crying. I hugged him back, not caring if anyone saw.

"Sshh.. It's not your fault. I'm sorry as well." I cooed to the crying, gooey, skeleton.

"S-So, you're *hic* not mad?" He asked, still on my shoulder. I shook my head.

"There's no reason for me to be mad at you." I said and pulled him away to look him in the eyes. "In fact, I should thank you for saving my butt again." I said and winked at him making him smile a bit, but it turned into a frown.

"But what are your parents going to say when they find out?" He asks me. I shrug.

"Who cares what they say."

"But-"

"Sshh... We'll worry about that later. Let's just enjoy the peace for now." I suggest. He sighs in defeat but smiles once more and nods.

Luckily, no one was in the room when Nightmare had hugged me. He soon calmed down and sat down on the floor next to me, leaning against me, as his hand held mine. It was awkward at first, but it soon got comfortable enough that it didn't bug me and I could write normally. After a while Nightmare started telling me jokes making me start to laugh. The teacher came in and gave me a weird look as she took my tray of discarded food, but left me be as she threw it away and gave me work to do.

"What do you do when a skeleton crosses the road?" Nightmare started another joke. I smiled and looked down at him. Luckily he stopped crying after telling a few jokes.

"What?" I whispered as quietly as I could.

"You jump out your skin and join him." He said and started laughing, I covered my mouth trying to contain my giggles, which didn't help as much but did a bit. 'Thank god for teachers who listen to music.' I thought as I glanced over at said teacher with her earbuds in.

Our fun was soon ruined by the last bell of the day. I instantly stopped laughing and sighed.

"What's wrong?" Nightmare asked me.

"That's the end of the day bell. Come on." I said and got up. I grabbed my backpack as Nightmare got up as well.

I looked over to the Isap teacher. "Goodbye Ms. Harvold." I told her, she nodded in response and I left the room with Nightmare. We both looked at each other with the same look as we left the school.

There was going to be hell to pay.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! I feel so evil making Nightmare cry and getting you suspended, AH! the sound of crying is everywhere! I also realized that I totally forgot to add the handcuffs for the past like 5 chapters XD so i'm gonna go ahead and say 'Screw it' you don't have them. -Shrug- Enjoy your slight freedom. Also I love how I basically gave Nightmare this cinnamon roll personality in this Fanfic, don't you? =3 WELP! Anywho! I hope you enjoyed this chapter and the story so far!
