58- Either make me or break me

Important note:
All the methods mentioned in this chapter to cure Sia's problems are fictional. Half of them are my imagination and other half is googled. So please Do Not try any of this. In case you have similar type of problem, please consult an elder and a doctor.
                          ~~~•~~~
The doorbell rang and I stood up to see who was the first one to come. Surprisingly all four of them came together.
"Did you all coincidentally came at the same time or were you together when I called you?", I asked raising my eyebrows, hoping that this was a coincidence or else I would be hurt that they didn't call me to hangout with them.
"No, we came together. We were arranging everything systematically so that it would be easy to explain the process and nothing gets left out", Jiya explained.
I mentally took a breathe of relief. Stupid of me to think they were enjoying without me. They were working so that they could help me.
Smiling, I let them inside and introduced them to Tanya and Raghav.
Everyone greeted my family with hii's and hello's but Rudra took it to another level.
"Good evening Sir, Good evening Ma'am", Rudra greeted formally.
"Why is he being so formal?", Shanaya asked, confused by his behaviour.
Apparently Tanya had the same question as she looked at me with raised eyebrows.
I just shrugged in response but Maitri cleared the confusion, "His mother works for Sia's brother-in-law. Hence, the formality".
"Ooo", Shanaya understood but Tanya still looked confused.
Upon seeing Tanya's dilemma, Raghav clarified, "He is Ganga Tai's son".
"Oh! I wasn't aware", Tanya exclaimed in surprise.
Coming out of her shock, she further said, "As you came here with these girls, I am assuming that you are here as Sia's friend and not as Ganga Tai's son. So, there's no need to be formal with us".
Rudra looked unsure, but he agreed when he received Raghav's approving nod.
We all decided to sit at the dining table to discuss as the couch in the living room wasn't enough for 7 people.
After everyone got seated comfortably, Raghav spoke clearing his throat, "As much as I am grateful that you all searched the methods to help Sia, I believe it's best if we take professional help".
Upon hearing Raghav's words, 'I told you so' look appeared on Jiya's face, which disappeared in just a second as Maitri discreetly elbowed her.
"Sir, I agree that professional help is better but Sia isn't ready for it. We are her friends and we won't suggest anything before checking it through. We already consulted a doctor and have taken her opinion for all the methods and even gathered more information that could be helpful to Sia", Rudra spoke politely.
"You...you went to a doctor to discuss all this?", I asked in shock.
"Did you really think that we would just try out anything without confirming it's reliability first?", Maitri questioned back.
"Yes Sia, we consulted a specialist. Don't worry, we didn't give out your identity or your secret", Jiya assured seeing my panic.
"Doctor even gave some calming tips as any method will take time to work perfectly", Shanaya  joined the conversation.
"Oh yeah! Here is the doctor's number. Incase everything goes out of control, you can call her", Rudra said forwarding Doctor's card to Raghav.
"Everything is fine but can we discuss the method", Tanya spoke raising her eyebrows.
Four of them had the decency to smile sheepishly upon hearing her.
"Oops! We should have discussed that first", Shanaya said on behalf of everyone.
Rudra cleared his throat before starting his explanation, "So firstly, you need to maintain a calm and happy atmosphere. That means no fights, no yelling, no horror movies before going to sleep".
"No fights, that's going to be tough", Raghav muttered lowly but everybody heard him.
Trio giggled at his comment while Tanya looked at him with narrowed eyes.
"Did you say anthing?", Tanya asked while rotating her fist.
If Raghav didn't answer properly then he was so dead.
"I was saying that we would keep all these points in mind", he answered sheepishly.
"Really? I hope that this is true or else", Tanya threatened with a sarcastic smile on her face.
"Can we come back to the main conversation?", I asked to save Raghav from my sister's wrath.
"Of course, Rudra please explain further", Raghav said hurriedly trying to save himself from Tanya.
"Okay, now this is going to be hard. Sia, you need to write down every little detail of your nightmares", Rudra started but I interrupted by bursting out at him.
"Are you mad? Write down everything? Do you think, this is so easy? Seeing them in sleep is hard enough and you want me to remember them again", I spoke while breathing heavily.
"Calm down, Sia. I know this is hard but it's the first step for recovery. Try to breathe first. In and out, yeah just like that", Rudra tried to calm me while Tanya rubbed my back.
"Let's hear him out first then we will see what to do. No one is going to force you, Sia but remember one thing- 'No pain, no gain'. If this method  is important for you to get well, then you must atleast try it once", Raghav said after my breathing was back to normal.
I nodded and asked Rudra to continue.
"After writing each and every detail, you have to change the ending of your dream or even the entire dream if that's what is needed. You can think of anything that can give your dream, a happy ending.
You can even put some fantasy superhero in it, who comes to save the day or anything your mind comes up with.
Write that fabricated dream on another piece of paper and read that 3-4 times before going to bed. There's a higher chance that you will see a happy dream instead of your nightmare after doing all this", Rudra finished and gulped down a whole glass of water.
His throat must have been parched from speaking so much.
"It won't work properly in a single day, would it?", Tanya asked in a knowing tone.
"We can only hope. But if it still doesn't work after 3 tries then we would have to change the fabricated dream and try once again", Rudra answered.
God, this is going to be so tough. While others were discussing more about this method, I sat there clutching my head in despair, knowing that this would either make me or break me.
