Much to his dismay, Elio is terribly short. Granted, he's still taller than majority of the female population. However, it's not much consolation considering that he's one of the shorter guys. It also doesn't help that his fast metabolism ensures that he appears like a stick, one soft breeze away from falling over. He has unruly thick, brown hair, and matching deep eyes. He has a slightly chiseled jaw, while still having a baby face. He also has very veiny hands.

None, but he does want to get his right lobe pierced. He almost did it, but he was afraid it would make him look 'gay'. His insecurities get in the way of his happiness.
𝕤𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕤:
He has a scar on his forehead forming a triangle from his hairline. It goes an inch out from his hairline and then an inch back to meet the other side. When he was a kid, he was playing tag in his socks and slipped. Falling forward, he smashed the corner of his head against the coffee table. It truly is a terribly embarrassing story.
𝕥𝕪𝕡𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕝 𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕗𝕚𝕥𝕤:

𝕡𝕙𝕪𝕤𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕝 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕥𝕙:
He's healthy. the only thing that makes him different from others is that he has a high metabolism, therefore it is impossible for him to bulk up. At least, it's incredibly hard for him to do. His fast metabolism causes him to sweat profusely when he exercises, something that makes him insecure. He thinks other people will see that and think he's unhealthy or out of shape. He's also practically always hungry, because his body digests food too quickly.

~◈ᑭᔕƳᑕᕼᗝᒪᗝǤᎥᑕᗩᒪ◈~
𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪:
Elio is a tortured person. Internally, he's always at conflict with himself because he doesn't want society to see who he truly is. Every day seems to be a civil war between his façade and who he wants to be. Elio acts like he has everything put together as this carefree, charismatic person. He's popular, well-liked, and fun. He is fearless, the type to look death in the eyes and laugh. At least, that's what everyone else sees. They see the playful man who wouldn't back down from any daunting task. They see someone always grinning, cracking a shameless joke. They see the person teachers and parents can't help but admire because of his easygoing nature. And yet, no one has a clue that this very same person is suffering. When he looks in the mirror, all he ever sees are his flaws. The features that make him appear feminine, the fact that he's a homosexual, that if anyone actually got a good look at who he was, they'd run away in horror. By himself, he's quiet, even shy, preferring the company of poetry and blaring sad music instead of partying and jamming out to some rapper trying to say the 'N' word every other rhyme. He doesn't like to play people, to try and see how many girls he can flirt with and have fall irrevocably in love with him. He doesn't pretend to have sex with every female who has legs. When he's alone, he's bombarded with thoughts that only make him wish he never existed in the first place. It seems like Elio has always been two different people his entire life; the version people want to see and who he actual is. He's a people pleasure because the one thing he's afraid to be is himself. It's terrifying for him, because with how he sees life, no one wants to be friends with the shy kid, cooped up in his room reading poetry. They want to be friends with the kid who is larger than life, who turns the smallest of activities into magic. They want to be friends with the crazy, wild person who does the very things everyone else is too afraid to do. And yet, while everyone loves him for it, all Elio can do is hate himself. He hates that person, and if he could, he would murder that part of him.
𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕤:
Elio's favorite part of parties is the alcohol. With it in his system, he feels invincible, as though he can do anything. At this point, he needs the substance to function, to feel alive, or at least anything but numb. He has a deep love for poetry and music. He's been playing the guitar since he was a kid, but he stopped playing when he realized he liked men. Not because he thought playing the guitar was gay, but because he didn't want to lie to himself when he played. Elio didn't want to write songs for girls or about things he didn't care about. So he made a promise that he'd only play when he could be true to himself.
𝕕𝕚𝕤𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕤:
Himself, having to pretend he's straight, and the fact that he's such a people pleaser. He hates how much people love the version of himself that isn't who he actually is. He hates rap music, when girls fall in love with him, and donuts. He's a sugarholic, but there's something about the idea of having a donut that makes him nauseous.
𝕤𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕥𝕙𝕤:
Outside of school, when he's himself, he's a good listener. He's not obnoxious and overcompensating for what he lacks. Elio is also a talented musician. His vocals aren't amazing, but he has an Elton John stage presence. He's an imaginative person and knows how to make the simplest of things feel special, as though taking a walk around the block is an experience people are lucky to have once in a lifetime.
𝕨𝕖𝕒𝕜𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕤:
Elio is such a conflicted person who lets fear dictate his life. It doesn't help that he's not the most honest person either. He's always trying to hide, and his people-pleaser attitude only makes him lie more in order to fit the perception people have of him.

𝕗𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕤:
Literally being himself is the scariest thing for him. He doesn't know how to do that. He's also terrified that people will find out he's gay, and he's more scared of the fact that he is gay. He tries to not act out on anything either. Elio is also terrified that if people ever do find out, they'll immediately hate him.
𝕥𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤:
He's talented at playing the guitar. All he has to do is hear a song once, and he can play it. He is also a very philosophical person, but he keeps that part of him under lock and key--high surveillance. He doesn't want people to know those sides of him.
𝕗𝕝𝕒𝕨𝕤:
He's way too insecure for his own good, caring too much about what everyone thinks about him. It causes him to in turn be very anxious and obsessed with other's opinions. He's too much of a people-pleaser that it causes him to be someone that isn't himself. The fact that he bottles his emotions and suppresses everything about himself also makes him a walking, talking lie.
𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕣𝕜𝕤:
Elio is someone who clenches his jaw a lot. Whenever he's conflicted, frustrated, or trying to repress whatever it is that he's feeling, he grits his teeth. He also has a habit of running his hand through his hair or rubbing the back of his neck when he's stressed.
When he's genuinely happy, he'll smile at the ground. Sometimes he'll either purse his lips or bite his lower lip in order to try and hide it.
He's also a bit of a fidgeter at times.
𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕥𝕙:
At this stage in his life, Elio is extremely depressed and paranoid. He's always trying to change himself and he does things he wouldn't normally do all for the sake of trying to hide the fact he's gay. Repressing who he is causing him to not only hate himself but the world. He hates that he has to have this attraction to males, and he would do anything in his power to change that and just be normal.

~◈ᗷᗩᑕᛕǤᖇᗝᑌᑎᗪ◈~
𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪:
Coming out is not an option for Elio, unless he wants to be disowned. His parents are both devout Catholics and ever since he was a kid, they've made sure all their children understand that Jesus is their lord and savior. He doesn't think they're openminded or would even accept him if he decided that he should inform them on his sexuality. His siblings aren't as religious, but he knows for a fact his older brother would be disgusted by him. Allegra, on the other hand, he has no clue as to how she'd react. They aren't the closest, and she's been very moody lately, so it's honestly like playing the lottery with her. His childhood was good for the most part. He had always been a sensitive, sweet boy. His mother really loved that nature about him. His sister was more charismatic and could flip a switch when it came to her charm. His older brother was very goofy and a bulldozer. Mateo is very much his father's son. Elio realized something was wrong with him in fifth grade when his friends started to develop feelings for girls and he wasn't exactly feeling the same way. He never really had a crush on a girl. Then in seventh grade, he enjoyed the company of Collin. They were really close, and Elio always looked forward to hanging out with him. One day, he accidentally kissed him. He knew it was wrong, and that he shouldn't have done it, but if felt so...right. It was in a way that was inexplicable. Collin ended up going to Catholic school, and he promised Elio he wouldn't say anything about it. They've never talked about it or seen each other since then. What Elio didn't know was that Collin had wanted to kiss him just as much as Elio did. It was a mutual feeling, and that's why he promised he wouldn't tell anyone without Elio asking him to. Ever since then, Elio repressed his feelings after he had a conversation with his brother about it. He asked Mateo about gay people because his friends were talking about how this one kid looked gay. Matteo pretty much told him that it was a disease, and that some people were born mentally sick.
𝕗𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕪:
Leonardo Barone--Father 54
His father is a very stern, strict man. He's hard to please, so Elio has trouble connecting with him. The only way he does is if he pretends to enjoy the same things his father likes. It's hard for him to hang out with his father, because Elio firmly believes his father wouldn't like the true him.
Marcia Barone--Mother 48
On the other hand, Elio has always been close with his mother. He's a momma's boy for sure. Marcia is much more observant than her husband, and she knows there's something off about Elio and that there has been for some time. She just has zero clue as to what it might be. She tried talking to Leo about it, but he passed it off as Elio being a moody teenage boy, nervous for college. However, she feels that there has to be something else going on. She can be a bit nosy, but it's only because she cares.
Mateo Barone--Brother 20
They have an extremely bipolar relationship. It's either love or it's hate; there is no in between. But if it came down to it, passive aggressive attitude aside, they'd do anything for the other. Of course, they'd mock and harass the other about it later, but in the moment they'd do whatever it took to protect the other. Majority of the time, it'd be Mateo defending Elio's honor than anything else.
Allegra Barone--Sister 14
Elio is protective of her, but that's about it. They aren't exactly the closest, since she's at that age where she's figuring herself out. She has a lot of mood swings, but they get along well enough. However, she is going through a stage where she's incredibly insecure and hanging around guys that are bad news. She happens to also be a people pleaser, especially towards males. She thinks that she has to change herself and do exactly what they say in order for them to like her.
𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕤:
Jackson Courter--they've been best friends since Elio was in diapers. They lived on the same street, and their parents got along really well. Elio would do anything for Jack and vise-versa.
Abigail Wentworth--They've been friends since middle school. She currently has the biggest crush on him, and Elio is aware of it, but he pretends that he doesn't notice. He loves her, and he cares about her as a sister. He doesn't want anything to ruin their relationship. Besides, if he was straight, he firmly believes that she'd be the perfect person for him. But he's not, and therefore, could never reciprocate the same feelings she has for him.
Byron Langley--They are on the swim team and baseball team together. He's the catcher. Elio would by lying if he said he didn't find the man to be immensely attractive. Unfortunately, he has the personality of a douchebag, similar to Chris, but at least he has good morals. He's not the type to actively seek out people to hurt and insult. He just has very closed minded views and is very stubborn. He sees things very one-sidedly.
𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕞𝕚𝕖𝕤:
Himself, he literally hates both the person he pretends to be and the person he truly is inside. He also dislikes Chris McAllister, even though they're technically friends. Chris is an asshole, and Elio hates that he basically is Chris' puppet. He wishes he had the strength to stand up to him and stick up for the people Chris torments. But alas, Elio is too much of a sheep in lion's clothing to do such a thing.
𝕡𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕠𝕣 𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡𝕤:
Allison Pent--they started dating in freshman year and broke up junior year. Since then, Elio really hasn't had a relationship. He kind of has the reputation of being a playboy, and flirts with a bunch of girls. The flirting is just to keep up with his straight boy façade.
𝕠𝕔𝕔𝕦𝕡𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟:
He's in high school. Over the summer he works as a lifeguard since he's a swimmer. During the school year, he busses tables on weekends at a restaurant.
𝕡𝕖𝕥𝕤:
He has an old, golden retriever named Lady.
𝕝𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤:
He lives in a house with his parents and siblings. It's not the biggest house in the world, but it's pretty nice. He's parents are in the upper end of middleclass, so their home reflects that.

Scenarios:
ONE—You go to a different school (or you're in college) than Elio. You guys met at work and really hit it off. It was refreshing for you to meet someone so open, so full of life. Elio was like no one you had ever met before. He had this way about him where he could make every mundane thing magic. But you also noticed something about him that others overlooked. Behind the carefully crafted smiles, the mischief glimmering in his eyes, you saw the broken, tortured boy underneath. You saw the pain, the constant suffering that came with the ache to be understood, to be loved. You were always curious about who hurt him so, who made such a beautiful person feel so worthless. One day, you drove him home from work since your shifts ended at the same time. Elio's parents had confiscated his keys after they found a bottle of beer in his bedroom. Parking in his driveway, Elio unbuckled his seatbelt. "Thanks so much Y/N. Really, I owe you," a soft smile danced on his lips, the sort of smile he seemed to reserve solely for you. The male turned to open his door when you stopped him.
"Wait—Elio," you said as your hand reached out, touching his leg.
His head snapped towards you, and there was that brokenness you were familiar with in his hazel eyes. You saw him clench his jaw before his tongue rolled over his lower lip. You forgot what it was you were going to say, but it didn't really matter. In an instant, Elio closed the space between you. He was kissing you as though the act itself would be his salvation. It was desperate, it was hungry, and it was filled with a passion you didn't think he'd possess. And just before you could process what he had done, he pulled away, face ridden with fear as though the touch had burned him. "I—I gotta go," he stammered, hand bolting for the handle of the car door.
You....?
TWO—You went to the same highschool as Elio. You knew about him and his friends, since they were far more popular than you'd ever be. Chris made a point of showing you that. He was one of your tormentors, doing everything in his power to make you suffer: physically, mentally and emotionally. And the brutality was only because you were openly gay. It also didn't help that you had gym with Chris and his goons. That Friday, Chris had gone too far and you had had enough. After the period, you all had gone to the locker room in your glistening sweaty glory. Changing out of your gym clothes, you made a point of not really staring in the room, knowing that everyone would think you were perverted. However, you noticed that something was off about Elio. It wasn't like you guys were friends, but you shared a few classes and he was always decent towards you. It wasn't like you meant to stare, you just couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. Of course, Chris wanted to paint a different picture. "What are you looking at faggot?" Chris spat, a look of disgust in his face. Everyone's attention was on the tall, blonde muscular male as he stalked over towards you. "Stop fantasizing about Elio, you sick fück."
"Chris, stop," Elio pleaded, a panicked, tired expression in his eyes as he hiked up his jeans.
"What? He has to be taught a lesson. Someone needs to cleanse him of his perverted behavior, isn't that right Fag?" Chris taunted as he walked up towards you. You didn't expect him to do anything here, since he had an audience. But apparently, Chris wanted to change things up. Out of nowhere, he slammed you against the locker, your head smacking against the metal with a sickening thud.
"Chris! Fücking stop!" Elio shouted, grabbing his friends arm.
"What? Are you a fag-lover or something? I'm looking out for you, unless you are a fag. Aren't you?"
"Are you retarded? Of course not!"
"Then let's teach him a lesson. He needs to get purged of his sins," Chris grinned wickedly.
You.....?
THREE—make it up
