~History~

(Check out the Original Willow's Profile for a Basic Idea Of Willow's Life)

Willow was born without a proper voice.

The only thing he is able to do was make small noises at the most.

His older brother, Papyrus, was a terrifying monster. His name struck fear in the hearts of both his enemies and the citizens of the Underground.
Even though his savage exterior terrified many, his soft interior was only reserved for the ones he loved.
More specifically, Willow.

The brothers, while acting as if they hated each other in public, actually enjoyed each other's company, living like a true family would within their house. Papyrus took great care of Willow, working very hard to meet both of their necessary needs.

Willow, wanting to make things easier for Papyrus, also worked several jobs to bring in money. They both joined the Royal Guard, the taller of the two quickly rising as the head of the group.

As time progressed, the two learned to fight and survive the hellhole which was the underground. They fought countless battles between hostile monsters and kept order throughout the areas.

One day, The King, Asgore, requested an audience with the two brothers. Having worked so closely with the king, they came immediately. A human had fallen from the surface, beginning to travel through the underground. Because of this, Papyrus (being the Head of the Royal Guard and also doubling as the Judge (Since he showed impressive skills)) was assigned to his grand post:  The judgement hall.

Willow, also being a royal guard, was assigned to his post in Snowdin. However, Papyrus quickly intervened. The last thing he had ever wanted was for Willow to be alone in such a dangerous place.

The taller skeleton pleaded the King to change his orders, explaining Willow's condition. After much convincing (and consideration), the king decided it was best to just replace Willow with a much more powerful guardsman.

Slightly relieved, Willow thanked his brother.

~

With the others, Willow had to evacuate the area. Apparently, the human was killing monsters with no shred of regret. While the human was unleashing slaughter on his kind, The small skeleton sat with a few others in a hidden room, quietly listening to the havoc happening outside.

After several hours, the door was opened and the monsters walked outside. They were quickly met with the sickening smell of monster dust. Willow watched as some of the survivor's hard exterior evaporate and large tears leak from their eyes. They were mourning their dead loved ones.

A sudden thought rushed into Willow's mind and panic quickly spread throughout him. He bolted from the shelter, running to the northern part of Snowdin. There, he waiting impatiently by a certain river.

Slowly, a boat drifted down the stream, a hooded figure perched aboard. In a rush, Willow signed to the person. 'Get me to New Home. Fast.'

The figure stood still for a good several minutes before Willow finally realized what they were waiting for. He quickly dug his hands into his pockets and pulled out any loose change he had, forking it over to the figure.

The person stared at the money before moving aside, allowing Willow to board.

Once he did, the boat began to move, heading into the cavern.

~

By the time he got there, he was too late. Willow sprinted into the castle, running to the elevator. It lazily opened, the skeleton quickly clamoring aboard. Once the doors shut, Willow waited in anxious silence as the elevator slowly rose from the bottom floor.

Finally, the elevator reached the top. With a burst of energy, Willow ran. He ran as fast as he could down the long, grey halls. His breathing hitched as he turned the corner, arriving at his destination.

Willow's eyes widened.

Papyrus peered up at his brother in the doorway before smiling unevenly. He mouthed his final words before crashing to his knees and beginning to dust.

Willow would have ran to his brother right then and there, but a glimpse of black caught his attention.

The human was standing over Papyrus' body, watching him with empty eyes. After only a few moments, Papyrus was gone. His silvery dust laid in a clump, his brilliant crimson scarf wrapped carelessly around it. The humans stood there for a couple more seconds before continuing down the hall.

When Willow was completely sure that they were gone, he cautiously approached the pile. Falling to his knees, he finally let out the tears he had been holding back since his death.

Terrible sobs escaped his mouth as he clutched his brothers scarf.

He was gone.

He was  g o n e .

He was  G O N E .

~

Willow sat in the hall, his sobs quieting down to simple whimpers and tears. Papyrus' scarf was still in his grasp, tightly held by his heart. Footsteps echoed through the hall as someone approached him.

Willow didn't care who it was.

If it was the human or a monster.

He didn't care anymore.

A deep voice awoke him from his trance, his tear-stained face looking up at the king. Asgore had killed the human. '...Leave my castle. I don't need to see your disgusting face.'

Willow's empty eye-sockets blinked, before he looked down at the scarf again. He changed his sitting position and leaned against one of the pillars of the judgement hall. He continued to hold onto the scarf. Upset, the king summoned his weapon.

'I SAID, LEAVE.' He bellowed.

Willow didn't even flinch. The kind swung at the skeleton, wanting to force the sight of Willow's grief away. However, he did not expect for the skeleton to successfully block his attack with a thick layer of strong bones.

Willow glared at the king.

He was staying.

No way in Hell would he abandon his brother.

~

After more failed attempts to get Willow to budge (using the other guards and monsters as well), the king gave up. He spat on Willow every time he passed by the grieving skeleton, which didn't react to him anymore.

Willow continued to sit against the pillar, the scarf still in his hands. A small patch of golden flowers sprouted next to the pillar, it's golden color matching the hall. Unfortunately, Willow was blocking it's way of sunlight from the windows.

As a solution, the flowers began to slowly grow towards the skeleton, growing within him. At first, Willow felt discomfort having foreign organisms growing inside of him, but after a while, he soon lost his will to care about them and just lived with it.

~

Years passed and the flowers continued to grow. They soon spread throughout Willow's being, their roots digging into his soul for nutrients. Of course, Willow was getting progressively weaker as the plants began to suck away his life energy and obviously became upset over this fact.

Though, he noticed it a little too late.

When he tried to yank the flowers away from his soul, it sent a serge of pain through his body. He finally concluded if the plant was removed now, he would have to deal with major casualties.

~

A few months later, Willow began to feel worse as the flowers fed on his life source. Afraid of death, he was conflicted on whether he should stand up and replenish his health.

It wasn't until a few days later when a painful spasm wracked through him was when he decided to finally stand up and find something to eat.

~

After that day, Willow began to live a semi-normal life again. He would still walk and eat, but he barely left the castle. The plants NEEDED sunlight, limiting the skeleton to the closest place to receive it: The Judgement hall.

(Fell Willow cannot 'speak', unlike the original Willow)

(He wears gloves whenever he goes anywhere besides the castle because the flowers get cold easily)

(He now wears  Papyrus' scarf)

(He officially quit the royal guard (He already decided to quite after the first month of his mourning))

(He now lingers behind one of the pillars in the judgement hall (preferably near the window))

(After a while, the king actually grows to live with Willow and eventually stops spitting on him and starts to semi-respect him)
