A Heart Warming Reminder

Tears fall down,

I share laughter with a stranger,

The smell of lilac perfumes the air,

Bereft of anger with wine in a cup,

The moment fair as a woolen blanket,

I think on how in my '77 Camero,

How I have such singing in my heart

As I converse with a beautiful woman

Who sinks into my mind the truth that all the world has grown into a tragically estranged family.
