The following free verse poem titled, "Violaceous Bubblings" was inspired by a girl I know who tried to commit suicide by crashing her brand new car on purpose. Thankfully, she survived and is getting the help she needs now.

She was singing a dirge with her fingers

Her once lilac thoughts spilling onto white paper

As she sang about wine she's never tasted,

Explaining what really happened to the '77 Camero,

Describing the laughter she never feels now,

And about the tears that rain down

Onto her accepting blanket, every night at 3:22 A.M.
