Epilogue

3 years later

The desert is part of the golden soul for those who love the big sky and the story of a resilient nature born to survive and thrive.

The desert shatters the soul's arrogance and leaves body and soul crying out in thirst and hunger. In the desert, we trust God or die.

In the desert lies the city of Basara now ruled by King Altamash Murad Khan who ruled this land with justice and equality, with peace and devotion, with passion and dedication.

He considered himself lucky because the moment he came back to his country with the love of his life years ago he was given the command to rule his people.

But he was always cautious because in this game of power, hunger, and greed the line between life and death is sharp and quick.

Many around them didn't want them here, but he was always alert and give his best because he trusts his LORD and his love very much.

She was the woman who brings him close to his creator and his responsibilities as a ruler, an emperor.

She was always by his side either helping him in the most difficult decision making or embracing him when he had a hard time. She was always there but not today.

He came out of his trance when a minister in his court spoke startling him but he quickly masks his expression.

"My King!!! Are you ok?"

Altamash cleared his throat as he looked around and saw his brother passing him an awkward smile that made him uncomfortable but he straightens up and looked at the man.

"Yes, I am ok... Please continue with the monthly report,"

The minister nodded eagerly and explain everything to the king who now gives all his attention to his work and not to the woman who didn't come to the court today.

"We have collected all the taxes, your highness... This year tax collection is so good that we can start the development projects and the import of necessary goods from the neighboring countries with ease...,"

Altamash smiled proudly as he listened to the man and nodded his head, pleased with the progress.

"That's very good... But I want you to keep a little profit aside for the rainy and difficult days... Also, make sure you send help and support to the north side after the sand storms... I need you to send your best helpers and rescue teams there,"

"My majesty it's already been taken care of... We have saved enough profit from the taxes for any kind of natural disasters or Allah forbids war. We are good for now and our best teams are already on their way to rescue mission with their best equipment and food supply for the survivors,"

"Well done Wazir Usman... You will be rewarded for your foresight and planning,"

The minister bowed In front of the king who had a relieved smile on his face but his next word causes the whole courtroom to get silent.

"I am very grateful to the king... But my majesty... It's not me who ordered the rescue mission or the saving plans... It's our Queen...,"

Altamash felt his chest puffed up and swelling with pride. His woman was always one step ahead of him in everything, she was indeed the best spouse and ruler he can have.

"My king... Please forgive me for asking this but the Queen didn't come today for the session... We have many pressing matters to discuss and one of them being the Rajanpur proposal...,"

Another minister stood up and looked at the king with a sinister smile, this is the dirty game of politics, even when people are below you, they had a hold over you somehow.

But nowhere, Altamash Khan felt the bubbly anger in his veins and the bursting rage through his blood as he set his blazing eyes to the minister who got scared at the crazed look and bowed down immediately.

"My Queen... Your Queen will join the sessions as she, please... She was still doing her duties as you have yourself witness a few moments ago so please don't bother yourself with her well-being... She is perfectly fine and in our chambers with our heir... And about the proposal... We will discuss it later... The court is adjourned...,"

The ministers started to bow and get up while the snake in them was smiling victoriously to taunt and mock the king in front of everyone but soon he was called and shocked to his core.

"Also Minister Razaq... Please come next time with the treasury report and also I want the written records of the last two years by the end of this week...,"

The minister who was smiling and questioning his king now gulped in fear as he stutters in disbelief. While the other loyal ministers and people present in the courtroom smiled at their king tricks.

"your majesty... How can I? It's not possible...,"

"Then make it possible... You are more capable of keeping tabs on your surroundings so I am sure you will do this small work with ease... Now please everyone leave and go back to your duties...,"

Altamash waits for everyone to leave as he leaned back over the throne that felt like it was made of thorns.

This is the curse in disguise if being the emperor, you have loyal people who can die for you but you also have snakes and backstabbers among you that will kill you or trick you the moment you turned your backs on them.

"Why didn't punish him already bhaijaan? Why waiting for him to make the last move?"

He opened his eyes as he heard the voice of his little brother as well a show prime minister with his most trusted man, Mehmet as they looked at him with questioning eyes.

"What do you mean Harris?"

"You know what I mean Bhaijaan... You have every proof against him and his corruption then why wait for him to again bluff us...,"

Altamash gives a small smile and shook his head a she looked at his brother and Mehmet with a glint in his eyes that made them curious.

"This city... The money we get in taxes and the treasure... It never belonged to me or my family... It has always belonged to the people of Basara and I will not stop unless the people who wrong them will be punished... I know he was the snake but I am giving him time to get better but now I am sure he will never... That's why I give him an order to get the written records of the past two years because I know he didn't have them... This is my last move... This will render him at my mercy...,"

"You and our Queen are so generous my majesty... We are so lucky to have you both as our rulers,"

Mehmet spoke proudly while Harris beamed with a gleeful smile as Altamash stood up and stand in front of them.

"We are not generous Mehmet... We must provide justice, food, help, and support to our people... Our LORD gives us this duty... He chooses us and now we have to be just and faithful to this throne and people... Because on the last day (akhira) we have to give answers for every injustice and every tear... We cannot stop everything but we can do what we have power to...,"

The two men nodded their heads and thanking their LORD for giving them the best rulers. Altamash suddenly turns serious as he looked at his brother and asked something.

"Did the messenger return from Rajanpur?"

Harris lowered his head as he looked away from his brother's hopeful eyes who turned blank soon.

"No Bhaijaan... But he must be on the way back with their decision...,"

"yeah or with a declaration of war...,"

"Don't lose hope my king... Our LORD will help us in this matter,"

"Ameen... I am going to our chamber... Please cancel all meetings and discussions till tomorrow... I need time with my family...,"

Mehmet nodded his head as he quickly holds the crown Altamash passed to him because when he was going to meet his family, he will meet them as Altamash Khan, not as an emperor.

"Well, then I should accompany you Bhaijaan because my better half is always like our Queen shadow... So let's go...,"

The three men laughed because it's true, those two women are always together. Altamash turned to Mehmet who bowed in front of the royal brothers.

"But Mehmet... Make sure I get the news when the messenger came back... I should be informed immediately,"

"Of course my King...,"

Altamash and Harris left Mehmet to do his work as the king's special man and went to meet their family and have a moment of peace.

.....................

She sat on the balcony looking at the city, her city. The place that accepted her when her own blood tried to destroy her happiness years ago.

Many things had changed even herself, she was not anymore the soul of empty words, her voice now holds the power to put her words into actions.

She was not the mysterious princess of Mirpur anymore, now she is the Queen of Basara, the wife of King Altamash Murad Khan, the daughter-in-law of the Khan family.

She wrote the words in her journal as she keeps observing the city and putting her words into the inky curves while whispering and tasting the texture they left on her tongue.

"The air of the desert, the air of power caressing the crown is a window to crepuscular mood, a glimpse into unconsciousness... It's a Periphery tilted by the horizon and the sacred moment between life and death. Take a break from the endless battle, Let ego dissolve, Let sorrow calypso with the fairies... The dark whispering as well as the moonbeam solacing, the flight of birds as well as the crawling death...This silence is wonderful while the life is divine,"

"It's so beautiful api... I love this piece,"

Both hands stop their movement as she turned around to look at the woman who came waddling toward her with a beaming smile.

"You like it?"

"Like? I love it... It describes us... This country... The world perfectly...,"

Before Mahajabeen can reply they both heard a whine of frustration and smile at the source who was glaring at the intruder.

"You didn't change Janam... You still can't share your owner with anyone...,"

Mahajabeen caressed Janam's white coated fur with a teasing smile as the car started purring and making the intruder laugh.

"Yeah...she was more jealous than Altamash and Jahangir when someone gets my attention and I love her for it... but she also loves him...,"

"that she did...,"

Mahajabeen closed her journal and placed Janam in her lap to hug her and make a place for the other lady who was glad for sitting and letting her feet off the ground.

"So what is the prime minister's wife doing here?"

"Hey!!! I am your sister first then that idiot's wife...,"

Mahajabeen hit her head making her whine and rub at the sore spot with a grumpy face as she turned to her elder cousin.

"He is your husband Hania... At least show a little respect... You both still bicker like kids... I don't know how you both are still alive after being married for one year... Not to forget you both will soon be parents...,"

Hania bit her tongue as she murmured sorry and turned to her sister with a sheepish smile.

"I am sorry api... But I can't control my mouth... I mean I love him but he can be stupid sometimes... I still can't believe I said yes to marry him,"

Mahajabeen shook her head as she looked ahead with Hania whining about Harris irritating her and not allowing her to eat food she craved while Mahajabeen gets lost in her thoughts as she thinks about the last few years.

Altamash and Mahajabeen got married quickly after that attack Basit planned and that joined not just two souls but two families and two kingdoms together.

She was afraid that the people of Basara will not accept her easily because of what her brother did to their crown prince and second prince but when Altamash was presented with the crown, she knew she was accepted.

Altamash was given the throne immediately and he chose his brother to be his prime minister and Harris accepted his request with tears in years.

Altamash put his belief in his brother who stood by him in his hard time and was ready to die for him.

After one year of struggle and supporting each other, they were blessed with their light, their son, Jahangir Altamash Khan, the bridge that binds two nations.

After two years, Harris requested Altamash and Mahajabeen as his brother and sister-in-law to take his alliance for Hania.

It was not a shock for them because they always bicker and fight whenever Hania visit to meet Mahajabeen and Jahangir.

So with that said they take the alliance and within few months they are married and Now they are a few months away from being parents.

Mahajabeen smiled when she remembered how much happy they all were when they announced the news.

But with happiness there are clouds of darkness, when they went for their first official tour to Mirpur as the rulers of Basara, Mahajabeen thought it will be ok to forgive her brother and let him free because he was sentenced to prison for his attack.

But Basit didn't learn his lesson and attack Mahajabeen but luckily Harris and Altamash save her and Jahangir at the right moment.

Basit was thrown into prison because he attacks not his sister but the Queen of Basara, a challenge to the treaty and their nation. But he can't bear another failure and killed himself.

It was a hard time for their family, even when he was not the best human he was still their family. So after that Aydin Shah get severely ill and give her throne to Hania's brother as he was the best candidate.

Now their countries have a peaceful relationship and the people have trading and investment that helped them very much.

Mahajabeen got out of her trance when Hania shook her shoulder to get her attention.

"Api? Are you even listening to me?"

"Yeah... I was just thinking about these past few years and how life changed us all...,"

Hania knew what her sister was thinking about, the betrayal from blood, the tests, and trails of fate but most of all the pain of being mysterious.

"You are still the same api... You just adopt new things... You are still the most beautiful and amazing woman I love and care about...,"

Mahajabeen caressed her sister's head as she was still hugging her beloved pet with one hand.

"So why didn't you attend today's court session and where is that mischievous nephew of mine?"

"Jahan went for his playtime with his other cousins because his Baba and chacho were busy and Janam didn't want to move from my lap today... And about the court... You know why I didn't,"

"Api... You know Altamash Bhaijaan will never do that to you... You have to fight for your right... You are so much stronger than this,"

Mahajabeen closed her eyes as she turned away from her sister's sad eyes. She shook her head and Janam cuddles into her as if sensing her discomfort.

"I can't Hania... I can't risk a war just because I didn't want this...,"

But before she can say something else they both heard loud giggling and squealing of their legacy, their crown prince.

"Amma Jaan!!!"

They turned around to see giggling Jahangir in his father's arms who was looking intensely at his love while Mahajabeen just looked at her son but avoid eye contact with him.

"Mera bacha...,"

Mahajabeen opened her arms for her life and he wiggles out of Altamash's hold and when his feet touch the ground he ran towards his mother with all night his two years body have.

"Amma... I miss yow,"

he keeps talking in his cute baby voice and still wobbly words and dictionary as the elders smiled at his incorrect words.

"I miss you too Amma ki Jaan... Do you have fun with your friends and cousins?"

"Yeshhhhh!!!!,"

"Hey young man!!! Did you forget your Hani Ammi?"

Jahangir just shook his head as he quickly kissed Hania's cheek but then return to the solace his mother's embrace was providing.

"who brings you here baby?"

"We did... We are coming and saw this troublemaker and we asked prince Jahan to join us and he accepted quickly became he wanted his Baba to hold him,"

They turned around to look at the men who leaned against the doorway looking at the adorable scene. They smiled when they heard Harris's words and look at the little prince who was hugging his mother.

Jahangir Altamash Khan had always been a Mama boy, he would hug and kiss his father but in the end, he will run to his mother for hugs.

Altamash and Harris came there and greeted the ladies, Hania smiled beamingly while Mahajabeen just nodded at them because her husband was looking at her with his intense hawk-like gaze and she was melting under it.

"What are you guys doing?"

"Nothing... Just talking and enjoying the view... Janam was again fussing about being around api all the time and api wrote a beautiful piece...,"

"Wah Bhabhi... Can I hear it?"

"Maybe later...,"

Mahajabeen nodded toward her son who was cuddling her as Janam ran toward Altamash who picked her up caressing her and making her purr. Mahajabeen shook her head because she knew her pet has a serious obsession with her husband.

"That's good...,"

There was an awkward silence and Hania and Harris looked between the couple who was caressing the pet and their kid while avoiding the elephant in the room.

Hania signaled Harris to get up and leave them to talk but her stupid husband didn't understand until she pinched him making him squeal.

"Oww!!! Shit... I mean shoot...,"

He quickly changes his words when he gets glares from three people and gives heard look to his wife before turning to his nephew.

"Jahan... Baby... What do you say? You, me, and Hani Ammi will go and play hide and seek... We can take Janam too...,"

"Wut... Yow said Ammi can't play because she is whale,"

Harris eyed wide in shock as Hania gasped while Altamash pecked Janam's head to hide his laughter. Mahajabeen just shook her head at her son throwing his uncle under the bus.

"Baby... I said she can't walk because she is pregnant... Not whale...,"

He tried to save himself but the ship was already sailed as Hania turned to Jahangir with her best smile but only Harris can see her murderous eyes.

"When did chacho said that baby?"

"When we camw here,"

"Oh really?"

Those words were for Harris who was gulping in fear of his wife who was looking ready to kill.

"Yesh!!! He waid that Ammi is whale... Ammi... What is whale?"

"Ask your chacho baby?"

"Chipkali (lizard)... I mean beghum... I swear I didn't say that... You are beautiful... You are pregnant for Allah's sake... You are bound to gain weight...,"

Harris was cut off as Hania turned toward Jahangir and pinched his cheeks.

"my Jahan didn't lie... So what do you say, baby? We go and play targets with your chacho as our aim... Then we can have dinner made by me... I will make your fav fish... Are you happy? You and chacho will definitely enjoy it,"

"Yesh!!!"

"No!!!"

Harris looked horrified at his wife because she knew Jahangir get a new obsession with target the aim and his aim was as bad as Hania.

The last time Jahangir almost cost him his precious family jewels, and then his wife said she will make fish when she knew he didn't like it. He always liked whenever it was in a few feet radius.

He gulped because he knew now he will be at his wife's mercy so he just shut his mouth at her glare and followed his waddling wife who picked the cat from Altamash.

"Come on champ... Chacho will give you a piggy ride... Let's go and let your parents talk...,"

Jahangir jumped squealing, he kissed his mother and promised to come back soon to his mother and after giving a kiss to his father, he ran to his chacho asking for a piggy ride.

And the famous prime minister of Basara and the second prince give a piggy ride to the new crown prince of Basara.

With that, they leave the room for the couple who as still silent. Altamash moved toward her but she quickly stood up making him frown.

"Where are you going?"

It's been two weeks since they sat and talk for a proper moment, she was running away from the matter and he can't have it anymore.

"It's time for my sword practice...,"

Altamash smiled weakly at her feeble attempt if lying, he knew her too well to tell that she was lying. But he will not back down without saying his heart today so he started following her that shocked her.

"Good... I will come with you then,"

"Why???!!!"

Altamash raised his eyebrows at her and looked at her with a teasing smile who just glared at him.

"I mean you are going to practice and you need a partner for that... So suck it up love and move now,"

Mahajabeen cursed him but still move as he moved behind her with a beautiful smile on his face, his beautiful wife who look so regal in her attire.

The mesmerizing dress that showed her status of royal, but her simple look, her nose ring, her heart made of gold is what causes him to lose his heart the first time.

"Don't you change?"

He asked the question when she just tied her veil around her waist and picked the sword up. He also followed her actions but keep his eyes on her.

"I don't need to...,"

"Very well my Queen... So shall we?"

Mahajabeen nodded and they started the dual with him just waiting for her to strike first. Mahajabeen took deep breaths and with no thought in her mind, she lunged for him.

They keep circling and attacking, Altamash was letting her take all anger out while she didn't stop for a mere moment.

She was going to hit him when he blocks her attack and looked at her.

"You don't have to be tense about this my love... You know I won't do it,"

She was breathing heavily but she still pushed him away and again strike this time hitting his shoulder as he hisses but quickly masked his expression.

"You know we have to Altamash... It's for our people... I don't want war...,"

They keep circling and attacking as Altamash suddenly moves and hold her sword disarming her without her noticing.

"Neither am I... But I will not marry another woman just to avoid war... Put that in your brain,"

Mahajabeen felt anger consumes herself as she pushed his hand that causes both swords to drop away from them and with the speed of the tiger she draws a dagger for her waist and placed it at his chest.

"You are distracted, my King,"

Altamash smirked and leaned down, her breath hitched in her mouth as she looked at his eyes that were fixed on her lips.

But before she can understand what happened he swapped the dagger from her hold and pointed it at her.

"Now whose distracted my Queen,"

She looked at her with a blank look and step away, her eyes followed the dripping blood on his hand and the wound of a dagger on his palm when he swapped it.

"Altamash!!! You are injured,"

"I know...,"

She shook her head at his ignorance because he spoke still looking at her like he didn't care about the wound.

"Come here, you stupid man... You didn't care about yourself...,"

She holds his arm and drag him to the couch and made him sit there. She quickly picked the basket that contains cotton, clear clothes for dressing wounds, and alcohol to clean it.

She started cleaning the cut from the dagger and hiss when she wiped it with the alcohol but he didn't even blink because he was looking at her who had tears in her eyes at his pain.

"I don't have to care for myself... You always do that for me...,"

"Yeah but now you have to start doing it... I won't be always there for you... You will have more people for that,"

"Never!!! Never said that again or I will forget that I love you,"

He pulled his hand from her hold while she just closed her eyes in pain, she mumbled sorry and again started wrapping the cloth around it.

"I am sorry...,"

"I love you Mahajabeen... You are my wife... My children's mother... My Queen... Never for a moment think that anyone can replace you... Nothing can change us,"

"What about Rajanpur's proposal?"

Altamash closed his eyes as he remembered that disgusted deal presents to him by the Rajanpur King. They have proposed the king's second daughter hand for Altamash in marriage or they will declare war against Basara.

He informed them about his love for his first wife and how he was not interested but they didn't like it. The king tells him to either accept it as a political alliance or prepare for war.

He was at the edge of a sharp sword because on one side it's the lives of innocents from both countries and on another side, it's his family and most of all his love, his Mahajabeen.

His ministers were fine with whatever he decided but some hypocrites and unfaithful men are happy with the proposal because they just want the couple to suffer.

But his wife like always was adamant to put their people first even when it was killing her. That's why Altamash took the matter into his hands and was waiting for the final decision.

"You know what I thought about it... You are more important to me... I can leave the throne but I can't betray you like this my love...,"

She shook her head at his words and after making sure his wound is clean and covered she get up but he quickly holds her back.

"You are not going anywhere today... We have enough of this hide and seek game for the past two weeks... This ends here today...,"

"Ok... Fine... Then I told you my answer... You are free to marry the princess of Rajanpur... I have no problem... If this save lives of our people and theirs so be it...,"

His hold on her arm tightened as he pulled her close to his chest and she can feel the rage he was giving off in waves.

"So you are telling me that you are ready to give this up... To give us up... Just because some jerk was power-hungry... Then Listen to me beghum Altamash Khan... You will not make this decision... I will die before taking another wife... I love one woman and that is you... My wife... My children mother and my Queen...,"

She felt tears leaving her eyes as her patience run thin and she has finally broken down in his arms and he quickly holds her up and caresses her back.

"I don't want this Altamash... It's killing me but I can't be selfish and risk the lives of our people just because I can't share you... I love you... I love you most but I can't be selfish...,"

He pulled her more into his arms and inhaled her scent. Only her and his son's scent can calm him down and he needed it at this moment.

"I know my love... But believe our LORD... I didn't fall in love with this precious soul to leave her to burn and die just because I need to make unfair decisions... Just trust me... I will never do anything to hurt you and I will die before that day,"

She nodded into his chest and nuzzled his chest who just cried with his love, his woman.

"I do... I trust you and my LORD... I know HE will never burden us more than we can endure...,"

Altamash smiled weakly as he was thinking and praying to his LORD to finish this issue soon and for his plan to work for his love.

He loved this woman to such an extent that he didn't explain it in words. She had come out of her shell, the woman that was once a mysterious princess of Mirpur, now she is the fierce and brave Queen of Basara.

She writes her thoughts without any care, shares them with her loved ones, makes decisions about their people, helps everyone, she didn't fear anyone except her LORD.

In short, she became a better and more developed version of herself. She helped him and he holds her and together they get stronger.

She started opening up to him and confided in him for her pain and her worries, which pulled them close, they together pray and worship their LORD. Tried their best to run their country on their LORD-given instructions.

She was the one who guides him to the right path, to his LORD and he was happy to found her that night praying. Without this woman in his life, he won't be the Altamash he was today.

"Just know one thing... I will always love you... No one... Not any woman... And especially not my love... You deserve to share your love... Your husband with another... So make it clear that I will accept the war or leave the throne easily but I will never accept another woman in my life because I have you... You are enough Jabeen... You have always been... Always have... Forever will,"

He pecked her forehead and hugged her close to his heart and she finds her peace in his words and his arms but their moment was cut short when huffing and running Mehmet came there.

"MY KING!!! Oh... I am sorry my majesty...,"

He quickly turned around and give the couple their privacy as he cursed himself for coming unannounced.

While Mahajabeen blushed red in embarrassment and tried to push her husband away but he didn't leave her until he pecked her forehead, nose, and lips making her blush cherry red.

Altamash smiled at her adorable act and after making sure her head was covered with her veil that he untied from her waist.

He smiled at her giving her all the courage and assurance he can without saying anything, he turned toward Mehmet who was still looking away.

"What is the matter Mehmet?"

Mehmet hesitated before turning around and again apologized to the couple as he spoke with a happy glint in his eyes getting the attention of his king.

"I am again sorry for coming unannounced my King... But you have told me to immediately inform you,"

"What is it?"

"The messenger came... My King,"

Altamash eyes shined with a new determination and he quickly takes the scroll in Mehmet's hand and started reading the letter after removing it from the scroll.

With each line his facial expression change from hard to angry to happy and relieved as he closed his eyes and sighed in relief.

Mahajabeen looked at him with curious eyes but get startled when Altamash hugged Mehmet who was also shocked at the king action.

"This is so good Mehmet... Just what we want... I want you to give the best reward to the messenger... Make sure he was weighed in gold and also make sure these coins will be taken from my treasure... Not from the public one... Also, announce a celebration feast and tell our people that they are invited tomorrow night... The whole city... Tell the chef's to prepare for the feast,"

Mehmet smiled at his king and bowed running away to abide by his king's orders.

"Yes, my King... Congratulations to my king on this success,"

Altamash patted his shoulder with a peaceful smile adorning his face but his actions confused his wife who comes toward him after Mehmet went away.

"Altamash... What is this about? Not that I am not happy but what happened?"

Altamash didn't let her say anything as he pulled her in his arms and kissed her forehead repeatedly. She was confused at first but then melt into his arms.

"Here read this...,"

She took the letter from him and started reading it while he smiled at her cute adorable shocked face. She looked at him in disbelief while he chuckled at her expression.

"How?"

He caressed her cheeks as he looked at her with love that warmed her heart and the letter in her hand give peace to her burning soul.

"The day we get the proposal... I know you will do something selfless and tell me to marry the princess even if it kills you... So I take matters into my hands and I wrote a letter to Ahmed Shah... Hania's brother and the king of Mirpur... You know he was a bachelor and he needs a queen to rule beside him... So I asked him for the proposal...,"

Mahajabeen gasped and looked at him like he was saying the earth is flat. He keeps talking and each word of him was like a new shock to her.

"He was glad to help us and also he finds the proposal good for Mirpur... So I send a messenger to Rajanpur last week... With a new proposal... I offer them a deal where the Princess will marry to king Ahmed and the people of Rajanpur will be allowed to trade in both Mirpur and Basara,"

"And the king agreed?"

Altamash pushed her hairpiece behind her ear as he looks intensely at her and nodded his head.

"Yes, my love... He agreed... Because he knew this was the deal of his dream... I told you he is a greedy man... He knew that if he married his daughter to me then Mirpur will be their rival because you are still their daughter and my first wife... So he grabbed the offer because that's what I said... Accept it or prepare for war with both Basara and Mirpur... Let's say he accepted it more happily,"

Mahajabeen felt peace seep into her soul because she now knew no innocent blood will be shed and she can still have her love just to herself.

She hugged him as she cried, cried the pain she felt in two weeks and he gathered her in his arms as he smiled for the first time in two weeks.

"I can't believe it is over...,"

"It is my love... It is... I told you to trust me... To trust our LORD... I have read that chapter of your soul that you don't read out to the world... And I know what I have to do to give peace of mind to you...,"

"I love you, my king... Thank you for loving me... A soul of empty words,"

He cupped her face as he looked deeply into her eyes as if looking into her soul. She had a peaceful smile on her face.

"I love you too my Queen... But never thank me for loving you... I have always said that I love you for the sake of my LORD... I will always love you... And you are not a soul of empty words... You are so much more... Why do you think I fell in love with you, I saw something that no one can... You are the one who made me the better version of myself... You give me a chance to turn that soul of empty words into a soul of strong and independent words... I love you for you... I love you because you are my wife... My Queen and the mother of my children...,"

She smiled but soon her eyes turned wide as she looked at him, the words processing in her mind that he has been calling her the mother of his 'children' not just one child and he chuckled.

"HOW DID YOU KNOW???!!!"

He again chuckled and the next moment he caressed her lower belly while she just looked shocked.

"That you are pregnant... I am the king, my love... I have my ways... do you think that if I didn't see you for few days then I didn't notice the glow on your face and your gleaming eyes... your cravings for food and your noor...,"

She turned red at his words but then he caressed her arms with a tender look in his eyes.

"Now I wished this little one will be my princess because I will love to spoil and love her... Thank you for giving me my Prince... my Jahan and my princess will soon be here with us... Thank you so much for being my soul of empty words because you give me the chance to fill your soul with peace and happiness... You are much more than that...,"

"I wanted to do something for you today...,"

"What?"

"Today I wanted to give you a title...,"

"What title...,"

"Mahnoor...,"

She was confused at his words and tilt her head as she looks with a cute adorable look.

"Why?"

"Because that's what you are for me... Mah means moon... And you are my moon... I saw you in moonlight praying and lost my heart... It's also taken from your name Mahajabeen... The Noor part showed the light you bring in my life... You are my Noor... My light... My guide to my LORD... So today I give you the title of beghum Mahnoor... my Mahnoor... my love... My Queen,"

She was crying as she kissed his chest where his heart lies and thank her lord for this man.

"I love you... I love you so much...,"

"I know my love... And I also promise you today that till the day I die... I will never take another wife... Until I am alive and breathing you will be my only wife and my Queen... Only mother of my children... My Mahnoor...,"

He kissed her forehead and pinched her cheeks while He picked her up as she squealed and hit him But he just chuckled and laughed.

"Where are you taking me Altamash?"

"To our chambers... to celebrate this victory and the new arrival of my princess... We will pray first to thank our lord then I will show you in many creative ways how much I love you... And I will punish you for being so selfless and even thinking about giving up your love for people... I swear by the end of my punishment you will be totally ravished and loved... And you will never doubt my intention about loving you and only you,"

She gasped and hide her face in his neck as he had a teasing smirk and keep walking towards the chambers to fulfill his promise to love her and cherish her for years.
