Phoenix knew the news warned of a gas leak from a nearby factory was affecting all people between the ages of 18 and 50. But he didn't believe the gas would make it this far, let alone leak through the window.

Now everyone in the office, save for Trucy who was barely under 18. Was in a stage of childbirth, with Trucy frantically acting as midwife between the four, but mostly for Pearly.

Phoenix had no idea what was going on but as he eased himself on the couch he found himself stroking his belly in a motherly manner. Was he... looking forward to this? As he looked around he noticed the other laboring members looking oddly happy about their situation, almost in a trance like state, even Trucy seemed to be under its spell.

"Something wonderful is happening..." Athena sighed, way calmer than she was five minutes ago.

"I... I can't wait to see my adorable baby..." Apollo gasped.

"A baby made of our love... isn't it wonderful?" Asked Pearl.

"A baby... made of love..." Phoenix repeated and stroked his belly, thoughts that weren't there before echoing in his mind.

This baby is made of love. I'm carrying the child of my true love. This is wonderful.

Phoenix: "Yes... it is wonderful..."

It wasn't the office. But all of Los Tokyo Angeles was affected. In Kurain, the elderly maidens hastily performed the ritual of the arrival of the next master as Maya smiled throughout her labor. In the prosecutors office, there was hardly a single person that wasn't affected and Miles watched in a state of half bliss, half horror, at watching his co-workers deliver their babies while he held his close to chest.

Things seemed to calm down, or calm up, after the babies were born. Both Phoenix and Apollo had a son each, Athena on the other hand bore two healthy daughters and Pearl one of each.

Trucy watched as they all fell asleep in their blissful states. She had no idea what happened but she was sure answers would come tomorrow.
