Eggs – (Achievement #5 = 2 points + 2 bonus points)

Pecking bits of sky,

she gathers heavenly blue

to cloak her azure eggs.

Grass and twigs and moss

Do cradle her darling chicks

Born from out the blue.

Food she brings to them,

Through cold starry nights gives warmth,

Chicks fledge, and feathers grow.

Cradle now empty

as winged nestlings must take flight

blue skies now their road.
