The time of truth is done, it seems that people now show faith in known deceivers and liars, it does not bode well

Rumour after rumour about the dark Angels fate have spanned the centuries

Has the last of this noble line be seen, or is this just more of the deceivers lies

It has been a millennium since one has openly flown through our skies

That said, many have started to disbelieve in the supernatural

Dark forces are not black or white, they are covert, and can't be seen with the naked eye

Angels of mercy male or female, are everywhere, providing a helping hand when tragedy strikes

Are you sure you are ready to give up on your faith when there are those who would see you starve, rather than throw you a crust of bread

Extinct angels only make more room, for individuals to do good, in the dog-eat-dog world of today

F/N: It was my intention for his poem to be bright, not dark, but sometimes you just have to go with the flow and let it pour out, for there are no reins on creativity. This one is an unusual kind of acrostic, where the first word of each line is the successive words of the title. Knowing my luck this form already has another name, but until I know better the form will be termed as a 'Successive Word Acrostic'.
